[Q] help! odin fail

Hello world (sorry for my Bad english)
i hope you can help me. When i was getting my galaxy i was very happy but with the time froyo is froyo getting boring. So i was root it and every thing worked great. I was using flagship and it was perfect but then came the leaked gingerbread Rom and i have install it. But after a day it was every time on 1 ghz and the battery was very fast drain off. So i was flashing back on a stock froyo. And here's the problem : when i try to root other again it doesn't work. Z4root hanging and close. In recovery i try update .zip bit this doesn't work, too. And when i try to root with odin it doesn't work too (i have only the German error : odin reagiert nicht mehr. ) pls help me and say how i can fix it.
Pc : windows xp

You have flashed stock rom so now you have recovery 3e. You can't flash update.zip while you have 3e recovery. Best choice for you is now darky's odin rom. Download it and follow instructions. If you have some problems send me a message.

Well, thank you but i have already see it and if i remember right i have to flash only the pda file with odin. And i have already try to flash a rooted froyo pda. But odin will show me a error (in english could it means odin won't react. Send / don't send). And i think it will show the same with this pda file. I have also tried to flash the froyo stock phone and csc with the root pda but then is it the same error. And i have forgot to add that i also was tried to root it with super-one-click. But fail....

Have you used pit file??.....try downloading darkys odin rom...it doesn't cost you anything

how to downgrade sgn from 4.0.4 to 2.3.6

Hi,I hav just updraded my sgn from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 and m in India.First, I thought there would be a solution in 4.0.4 for battery drainage....but of no use.
Now I want to downgrade my sgn to 2.3.6(N7000DDLLC1) which is provided by sammobile.com and i hope that is official gb for indian sgn.
1. Please tell me hot to downgrade safely to 2.3.6 using clean installation.Actually, I have eMMc bug in sgn,so I can't wipe or format it.(MOST IMPORTANT)
So guys,please help me in doing this soon.thanks in advance......

Get the firmware from the original dev forum. Reboot phone in dowload mode. Open odin connect the phone and select the tree files from the firmware then pres GO. Its better to pick an allready rooted version of GB. Then you are all set.

Follow dr.Ketan's guide. They have clear instructions to downgrade.
Per the best I can remember
1. Download and install a safe karnal like Abyss.
2.Reboot to recovery.
3.Now wipe all
4.Then instal stock GB ROM

1. dev forums firmware is official firmware?
2. and i dont understand what you have said that pick an already rooted version of GB?what does it means?

Second i have eMMc bug in my phone,so i cnt wipe it or format i think.and brother i want to downgrade to an official gb only.

Get official from Sammobile and use odin.
As I see you don't know what root its.. You don't need so... Stick to the standart procedure and I'm afraid you gotta wipe/factory reset once you have finished flashing gb if you downloaded a Kies version
Why? Because all your apps will FC if you don't....

Thank you very much for your reply.i have a very small question to you that my phone wouldn't get harm or bricked due to this downgrade?or it will get harm?tell me please.

as long as you follow all the instructions (on the downgrade to GB), your phone will be fine.

There is no need to go to abyss, as you are downgrading to GB, so first downgrade then wipe is enough

Find 1st link on my signature. and select GB ROM to download and simply flash it with PC Odin, everything is mentioned there. Read it completely and still you have any doubt post your quuery.

could you please tell me the password for GB roms (i downloaded the one for uk but asks for password)i did use sammobile.com and also checked it with signed in option on website but this file seems to have exception.

[Q] GT-P6200 stuck on Android 3.2 no baseband [wierd]

Hy guys,
After spending 5h researching my problem i have decided to ask professional help.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P6200 running on android 3.2. I tried to upgrade to ICS but i had no luck.
I used odin 1.85 and 3.04 followed the instructions step by step, used heimdall didn't work. Tried two diffrent firmware P6200XXLQ1_P6200OXALQ1_ATO and P6200XXLQ7_P6200XEULP1_XEU. It stuck on SetupConection... and it fails with odin 3.04, i used pit and re-partition an still no luck.
The thing is that it would not connect to Kies, the pc recognize it u can browse the files download the pictures, browse sd card, but not connect to kies (don't know why). I took a picture for u guys to see what i think is wierd.
What do you guys think are my chances to update to ics or other firmware better than 3.2 because i hate the way it works right now.

The chance should be higher at P6200 forum.

[Q] Internal memory decreased from 11 gb to 79 mb!

hi guys .. at first i had a problem while updating with kies and i was stuck with a screen saying something about using recovery in kies and it didint work .. so i used odin and it was stuck in factoryfs.img so i used pits that i downloaded from this forum and everything went ok
then the camera wouldnt save pictures so i went to storage and clicked format usb storage and the memory decreased!
tried to flash a safe kernal then erase everything from the recovery and i flash another JB rom and it did no good
and now i cant use the camera and so many app cause the memory is full
any help would realy be appreciated

Flash a stock GB or ICS rom and check the storage

So.. did you brick your phone? If it was, I know it's normal, even with a PIT revive, to lose memory!

Pit revival won't take out that much memory. He's down from GBs to MBs

it turned out that i used the wrong pit in odin so it eleminated the internal storage
did the process again and used th right one .. and now i have 9.3 gb free space

[Q] [Question] How to Flash Stock ROM without ODIN

Hi,
I have the following problem:
I have a S5830L which I've downloaded the Samsung Unbranded Stock ROM GB 2.3.6 for this phone.
The problem is that when I put it on Download mode ODIN detects it BUT when I click on start it stops on "SetupConnection" and after 10 min it shows fail.
The phone is running fine, but It has the carriers ROM and with version 2.3.4, with CWM
How can I flash it via ODIN or another method?
I cannot figure out...

There's a thing called mobile Odin. Not sure if it works for your device but you can use the search option here to find out more...

you say it already has CWM, just use CWM to flash StockLite ROM almost similar with STOCK ROM
