Sense ROMS tend to be slow and laggy...Try CM10 based ROMS, or just CM10...And then install pure performances...I am pretty sure you should get 4XXX+ score...tested with antutu benchmark...
Also, make sure you installed stock pure performances since you are using stock based ics rom...

I always get 4xxx score on minicm 10 without any tweak like pure performance...
I just overclock my phone to 800 MHz and governor- Smartass V2 or Performance and BOOM:laugh:

Go to Settings > Performance > Governor > Max CPU freq whatever is the max according to the kernel, Set Min CPU freq to the max.
And other tweaks as well. Then run the benchmark test.

This is the mini CM10 almost nothing better .. (instead pureperformance I put Reincarnation Engine)

Overclocking makes device faster... Are you using any custom rom or not? For set Cpu to work you must flash overclocking kernels first (which are only available for stock roms)

Aren't they available for custom roms, not stock roms?
dont use setcpu, use cpu master its better
and which OC u use, which rom?
http://www.mediafire.com/?7shfs8938g3l3 try
some of this oc i use 806mhz and on cm7 music edition v1.0 i got like 2100 score on antutu benchmark
how about GB 2.3.4 stock rom? anyway to overclock it?

have you tried with RC2?
to oc you mini steps are here
1. upgrade to gingerbread firmware i will recommend xxkpi firmware
2. partition your sdcard with the help of clockworkmod recovery partition it according to your sdcard i will recommend you to partition it to 256 mb on a 8 gb memory card it is sufficient swap size is optional it can be your virtual memory of ram (partitioning your sd card will format it completely so first save your data)
3. after it flash cm7.2.0 rc2 rom created by squadzone.
4. fash smartboot kernel created by squadzone.
that's it you have oc your mini

[Q]Overclock

Is there a overclock already or is anyone working on it?
Is this cpu overclockable ? And how much ?

up to 1.2 ghz but not sure if there is a kernel for gb. on froyo though you can go up to that number safely
Maybe something changed since then..
Is there a way to overclock the OB on GB?
No, new nova kernel promised oc but it is delayed.
Zeus v6 has one
Sent from derp-mobile
Yes with zeus you can but use with caution the overclock is bad for android you reduce the life time of phone
Sent from LG-P970
i'm running zeus v6 right now..
going to try the overclock, just for fun..
already tried 1100 mhz, nice increase on benchmark but the feeling is the same..
just going to try some speeds but will probably stay on safe speed.
I did overclock with zeus V6 up to 1.2 GHz, but the maximum is 1.3 ghz, but not appropriate to use this speed, I think ...
But the difference is not much.
With oc and antutu i've 2997 score
Sent from LG-P970 using zeus v6 1,1Ghz
Guys I'm quite new to oc, previously I just tried it in nova so I just want to ask if it can do some to damage to the phone on long term basis? Or basically it is safe as long as you stay in the safe range ( 1.1-1.2)?
processor
U used nova for some time and i even overclocked mine to 1.2 after i used cm7 for a long time and about 3 monts ago my phone sudendly dont pass of LG logo i tried everything including kdz method and nothing work, i send it to warranty when he came the girl of the store say he just got a new processor, the old one didn t work, since that day i think a lot before overclock him again
You must verify the temp (°c) before o/c when the phone is too hot the o/c damage it. And i think 1,2Ghz isn't very stable.
Sorry for my english ,i'm french
Send with Zeus v6 the lightning power in you're P970
If you're on zeus go to Terminal Emulator then type su to gain superuser access, now type zeus and there it is the Zeus Script, there you can overclock and do other tweaks to your phone.
Hope it helps!

i think personally the maximum to oc zeus v6 would be up till 1250, i tried pushing it to 1300 and got bootloop
Did anyone already set it to lets say 1.2 ghz, then reboot a couple of times, since dvfs should set higher voltages then and then set an even higher frequency? Maybe this would allow you, to go even higher

yeah but with 1.2ghz i guess i saw someone having 3300+
since i got a bootloop, i stopped oc-ing
(will try in holidays)
I have it overclocked to 1180 with zeus v6, higher values make my phone to reboot and crash apps. My best score in antutu is 3038.

I mean overclocking to 1.2GHz or more.
Also I was asking if there are any tweaks to make battery life like Zeus for example.
I think you have not tried Zeus ROM 6.39, not Zeus v7
Overclock is not possible in stock ROM (limit 1Ghz)
In Zeus, you can overclock up to 1350 Ghz (but phone will be burnt)
1100 Ghz overclock and 300 underclock is Recommended for better battery backup..
I am using Zeus 6.39 ROM, I am having 3 days standby with very limited calls
press THANKS button, if I helped you..
I already tried Zeus 6.39 before but I'm using stock ROM for language issues.
There has to be a way to increase battery life in stock ROM.

Well... there is a kernel that u can use to overclock to 1.3 Ghz in the stock rom.
heres the link to the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1723397
Thank proxyq, hes the guy who made the kernel
Use setcpu or other overclock apps to manage ur cpu frequencies
setcpu have profiles that u can manage to save battery
Idk if u are still looking for a way but... here u go!

Right now you will need to install a Kernel that allows for OC on top of your current custom ROM. OC Kernels are marked with "OC" so that you can find them easily.

you can overclock your device here http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/16813-kexec-code-kernel-42413/ i hope it runs good for you just flash in safestrap
Will look into this
Sent from my XT875 using xda app-developers app
This kernel is no longer being developed, so it does not incorporate any recent changes from the Cm builds.

Blurry 2.5 has a oc kernel built in with it. 1.2gig. Has CPU sleeper an custom governers with it.. Only bad thing is its on 4.1.2 not 4.2.2. In my opinion I'd rather be on 4.2.2 then gain 200mhz

Q>performance of MD4?

Can anyone help me i am looking for a complete benchmark of Motorola droid 4 (any rom) the web reviews cant help me so much i want to see if it suits of my needs so i can buy it !

i had xperia pro(its nearly broken) i just want to compare the results to see if they are similar because they are both old phones and i need the qwerty keyboard...and some basic multitasking without lags, it would be helpful if you can give me a screen shot of anutu benchmark of your phone or droid 4, numbers always help to decide when you compare 2 phones.

John
Antutu v5.2.0 on my Droid 4 with Slimkat 8.8 and Lucize jbx kernel scores 16504 @ 1300mhz CPU / 384mhz GPU, and with the CPU fully overclocked to 1404mhz it scored 17112
1200mhz is stock on the CPU and 307mhz on the GPU.

It has to be the "JBX" kernel, lucize has decided to remove this file from his post for some reason, I've attached it to this post. It's based off dtrail's JBX kernel for the motorola RAZR, you can flash that kernel to the device too but I found the radio signal level would read wrong, so I have always used this one.

Is it possible to use "JBX" kernel with stock ROM? Or maybe only module that allowing GPU overclocking?

You need to be rooted and have a recovery installed like TWRP / safestrap, you install that kernel zip just as you install a third party ROM through recovery. If you just want GPU overclock don't bother, the increase from 307 to 384mhz only increases GPU performance by maybe 5%, it's purposely set to 307mhz stock because the GPU is bottlenecked elsewhere (ie: memory bandwidth), 384mhz increases battery drain and heat without much performance gain.

After much testing I could only get 1391mhz 100% stable, regardless of voltage settings. Could get 1.5ghz to benchmark, but never fully stable. It does speed up the phone quite a bit, but the biggest improvement is simply using a debloated ROM with every APK removed that you can.
