Ok, I did what you said, now it just goes to 'logo_ql.jpg' draw failed. It also wont let me get back into download mode, it just goes to this message. now what?
EDIT, nevermind, got it into download mode... guess i just need to keep trying different roms to figure out which one works?
You said your note came from repair and it was on download mode. I think it was NOT REPAIRED AT ALL. Country or region has nothing to do with manual flashing. You only need region when using kies to update.

Tbere is no need to try different roms as every rom is like same. Not much difference. Maybe your device is hard bricked and writing isn't possible. Get your motherboard replaced.

I did get it working... however, I went to reflash because when I did a factory data reset in CWM and it hung at erasing the data. So I reflashed the same way and now it gets stuck at the splash screen but it does boot, just not all the way up. what do I do?
EDIT: nevermind! got it! just had to use the stock recovery to wipe the data partitiopn and now my note is working great! thanks for your guys help!!

Don't ever wipe using stock ICS kernel. It will hard brick your device. I think now already got affected. Flash a safe kernel first then wipe.

So I have a question. I had tried rooting my device and it failed into a soft brick. Previously I had jzo54k on there. Using Odin I installed the Poland software but it seemed to have failed because now I am not able to register on a network. I have an international version of the Note 2 that I am using in the US. Since I am not able to connect to a network I am lost as to what to try. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Hi
My stock JB official unrooted rom suddenly went to a bootloop. I looked up online for solutions and flashed an official JB ROM for my phone and Odin failed to flash it. I tried Philz recovery but Odin failed to flash it. I got a yellow triangle which I was able to removie through Odin. Currently my phone is stuck on the splash screen. Recovery doesn't work. Odin fails when I try to reflash with a md5.tar file. Please experts help me with my problem. would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
I messed my phone up tonight and got it stuck in a bootloop since there is currently no RUU out I'm left with no choice but to go back to the store. Does anyone know if T-Mobile stores have the stock RUU and can restore it?

If your problem is transferring files, can you not go to recovery and use usb-ms (while attached to the computer) which will then open the memory of the phone on the computer. That's what I did to transfer stock ruu when I recently bricked my evo 4g.

no success at all, I'm gonna head to the tmobile store here in a few and see what I can get worked out
I just came back from the bell store, and they said that they could exchange me for a new one but they don't have any in stock until Tuesday.
I soft bricked my nexus devices dozen times in the past few years, and was easily restored to stock. Lesson learned by me, never root a non nexus device within 1 week of its release.

Why even bother? Just push a ROM, wipe system and data, then flash it.
You don't need a ruu. What did you do to get into a bootloop.

dont know how you did that. ive flashed every rom i could for this device to problem recovering from bootloops
I managed to fixed mine finally, Installed twrp and mounted my USB via otg. Then flashed a custom ROM, rebootef, still suck at the boot screen. Flashed a custom kernel, and it finally got passed the boot screen.
So happy to get my One back up and running again.

Go to sammobile.com. you have to register but it's free. You can get the stock roms there. You'll download a zip file. Use 7-zip to extract the .tar.md5 file and use that in odin. Use odin v1.85.

You'll need to put a custom recovery on your tab using Odin. Flash it just like the stock rom. Then you'll need to flash superuser-busy box thru the custom recovery. Download that on you tab. I have the files on dev host and I'll post links for you when I get on my pc.
Recovery. http://d-h.st/fqw
Supersu. http://d-h.st/vjq
Use install in twrp (the recovery) to install super user. Then boot, once booted look for super su in your apps and click on it. It will update to the latest version. You'll be rooted.

I'm experiencing the same issue, and no - since the phone thinks it's a system app, it will not let you completely uninstall it. It will however give you the option to uninstall any updates.

Has this been done? I mean re-flash a stock NC2 over NC2 with the upgraded bootloader? If so, this will definitely get rid of that pesky SU app! Also, if it can be done, what do I say to the Samsung tech nerds about why i want it flashed?
Just asking.
Sounds like you're stuck with even more useless bloat then most.
Go to your nearest Samsung kiosk at your best buy and they will redo the update and that will get rid of the superuser files and all files associated with root. I just went and I'm root anything free. How I know is I used isis and didn't get the your phone is rooted message. Good Luck. O PS you won't loose anything meaning their update don't wipe your phone back to factory. But just in case do a BACKUP.

Going bestbuy in your current state won't work. They are only able to do a update or emergency recovery to NC2, so you will still be stuck with non-working SuperSU still under /system/app even after reflashing. Unfortunately they don't have full factory reset image for 4.4.2 NC2 yet as of 5/17/2014.
What I did to remove that is to flash leaked Kitkat MLG with NC2 bootloader (look for the thread posted by Carl) using Odin, and this will wipe everything out. Then go to Bestbuy Samsung and update to NC2. This is the only way to remove SuperSU or any junk left behind.
As a precaution I did factory reset after I got mine updated to NC2 and after installing some stuff my PlayStore dissappeared so I had to do a factory reset another time. Now I think everything is pure stock.
And you don't have to make up any excuses about why you want it reflashed. Just tell them you had it rooted and now because att MFs locked down everything so bad you couldn't even get rid of it without flashing with leaked Kitkat. Samsung guys are there to help you.
I'm never going to buy another At&t crap again.

I'm going to have to disagree with you since I was in the same boat as the OP. I went to Best Buy Samsung and they did the update from Samsung site and it wiped out all traces of root files and supersu. They first had to download the update from Samsung site and then they connected my note 3 on nc2 with superus still there. Once they finished I checked my disabled apps and superus was no longer listed. I did a complete factory restore to verify it worked and superus was nowhere to be found. Not sure what is different from AT&T update and Samsung but Samsung version completely wipes out root.

I rooted, via the beast kernal. Everything was going fine until I decided to factory reset (had a few programs go haywire)
factory reset went fine, I reinnitialized android with my google information. Rebooted the phone, and now I'm stuck at "custom binary blocked by frp"
It's my fault for not rechecking the option in developer settings, but its too late
I can get into download mode, but simply booting, or getting into recovery give me that error.

That would be the factory reset protection, you need to odin the stock images back on, run through the setup as fast as possible, open developer options, and turn on OEM Unlocking. From there you can flash whatever you'd like. The FRP will also block insecure kernels, and recoveries from being loaded.
That's exactly what I did. And it worked. This just so happened to be the first and only phone I've had with frp. Learn something new everyday.
