Hello,I need Help pls ,i had 2.1 android Eclair
Yesterday i wanted to flash 2.2 Froyo with Odin it was without any problem but when i boot it to recovery mode and in that i clicked to "reboot now" i though that will be fine but after reboot boot only "I9000 - Galaxy S" and in Reboots again again and again.Ok i though wrong firmware , today i flashed back to 2.1 eclair i USE JM5 Firmware 2.1 but thats all same good but when i reboot phone ,it boot "i9000 - Galaxy s" and thats all guys.I cant get to Download mode and Recovery mode " no way , I must go to Samsung service or can i fix it alone ??? please Quick help

go to download mode start Odin connect your cable put files in their places and start the flashing process
if you are upgrading to gb for the first time do not use firmware without bootloader, use normal firmware

If you can access download mode, its not a hard brick.
Just flash a stock firmware with Odin in downloading mode. After you get the "PASS" in Odin. Unplug the USB. Remove Battery and put it back. Go to Stock recovery, clear user data and cache and reboot.

never give wrong suggestion to people when you don't know anything
Try flashing froyo firmware with bootloader, then upgrading to gingerbread. I did these actions on galaxy ace and it unbricked. It had flickering samsung logo.

I flashed a lot of firmwares (most dead links) : with odin : tass.ops&one package and tass.ops&''4'' (pda,cts,apboot etc)package and no one works, after says reboot the screen flickers/blinks white and black ... (and after finish/PASS still the same problem , no boot and that fkin screen )
PS: What is bootloader ??

Try to use the firmwares from sam mobile.. don't use custom roms..

I was having emanon and after I reboot the phone gets bricked ...

i haved same problem...solved in service centre, with jTag. you need to recovery your boot. without it you cant to enter in download mode.
or
try with usb jig (search on youtube how to do it)
p.s. i dont know if usb jig working. do it on your risk.

no, it doesent cost something, you just need to find a good firmware to flash.

if you can ,it never be hard brick,you can seek a official 2.3.4to flash,i meet the same problem when i flash CWM by Odin,and it just show （mobile ! PC）,but Ican enter download mode ,finally i flash official 2.3.4 successfully,the you Will has an original recovery,then you can do everything in recovery！！
BTW if your Odin show COM when your phone enter download mode？

yes and after it pass the step 7/9 system.rfs the phone boots but it is again stuck at flashing/blinking black&white screen

if your phone go to download mode, then just flash it with odin with 2.3+ version of android.

Hi:
My freind give me him phone that he want me to install CM on it , while i am trying to use CWM and all that and trying to install the rom always have errors.
Then when i tryied to turn the phone up i saw the samsung logo then stuck there.
I can open the recovery but i can't install any rom , i can't open the downloading mode over with 1 method that with pressing up+down volume bottoms then when i try to flash a rom using odin always stuck in Start Nada write!
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease help me.

The whole problem was that his phone model was S5830M and the rom i was trying to flash was only S5830 , when i tryied to flash the S5830M rom all errors didn't appear.

Perhaps there is a way to flash CWM TOUCH recovery by Odin?
In this way, after the installation, i will be able to sbrand the phone and to root, right?

i suggest you to fix the keys of ur sga from the service centre n then proceed coz one single mistake in CWM touch may brick ur phone. hit thanx if helpd
android one is not powering on . this is happen when i was flashing kitkat stoke rom on it . i chose the option download+formate all and connect my phone but after flashing finish its not powering on .
its detecting in sptool and i tried to flash stoke rom , flashing is successful but phone is not booting or power button not working .
in SPTool v5.1552 memory test it showing nand flash memory not detected .
i also showed this phone in service center they said to change motherboard which cost 3000 inr .
please help me is there any way to unbrick this.

It is recommended never to use "download+format all" option ......I have many times used sp flash tools for flashing stock rom ....I always used "firmware upgrade" option......I never faced any problem ....
