what about the data problem... i had the wifi issue, restarted once...but my data trafic is a mess
It is because you updated to latest stock and all the custom roms out there are based on older firmware (radio). There's no solution except returning to stock and manually applying the update with some editing of assert statements in update zip.

are you S OFF? If not did you flash boot.img via fastboot? If you have unlocked using htcdev then you are not S OFF and you need to flash your boot img by fastboot to get the wi-fi to work.

First chk by using a WiFi scaner from play store and see if it shows a network.for this ssid should be not hidden in router.if it shows Try disabling WPA (security)in router and try.it should connect then.if scanner not show any network I guess its a kernel prob..

Did you try installing another kernel? And since you are s OFF you dont need to push the wi-fi module using adb . A recovery flashable zip file will do. Look in the development section for links to kernels

my problem solved by using WiFix manager
Hi there,
So i got the Problem that there are currently like Daily New nightly versions which i want. The updating is no Problem, i just flash it trough cwm without Any wipe and it works perfectly and no data are lost Or sth. The only Problem is my idoak kernel and an Importe camera APP Form 20va are lost i got again the kernel Form the pca man Rom..:/
Can i change sth. For not losing them?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
The Kernel is flashed with the ROM so you have to flash it manually after every update.
Hmm..
Can't i maybe not just delete some files Form the ZIP which are the kernel? ^_^
Btw: is it right that a kernel neeeds some time like a Week to get "real working"?

How to get OTA update from htc to overcome blank screen during charginf
You have a custom rom or the stock sense?
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda premium
Stock Sense.
So go to settings -> info phone -> system info -> software update (or something like that)
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda premium
Already got 2 updates and the black screen problem persist. And by checking update in setting it says no updates. In some country an update is available for blank screen during charging. Is there any way to get that manually ?

I don't know... You may ask some developer if there's a way to get it manually..

Sometimes reboot by itself but it's rare, and the weather doesn't work. If you're looking for a cm10 based rom I suggest you mini provision (or cm10 )

the update fixed the blank screen while charging w/o autobrightness
I'm s-off/rooted on stock 3.05.651.6. It started happening after I updated to the first KitKat ota, downgraded to shipped stock, then took the ota back up to 3.05.651.6.
Since then, I get total network drops. It will even disconnect my Wi-Fi when it happens. I'm including a screenshot of one of the error messages I get when it happens.
Can someone please tell me why this happens, or how to fix it?
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app.
Probably Radio/RIL related. Check if your radio (firmware) matches the one in your ROM.
My Baseband is 1.00.20.1108. Sound right?
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app.
BTW, you have GSM or CDMA M7 - which model ID?
I have a baseband of 4T.27.XXXX with Sesne 6 5.11 and absolutely no issues.
CDMA One. Model PN072. Baseband 1.00.20.1108 on Android 4.3, Sense 5.0, and Firmware 3.05.651.6.
Maybe the radio is too new and I should downgrade it to the last prior?
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app.
Might be jinxing myself by saying this, but I think the new radio fixed the issue. I still get the error when I get a call though, but that seems normal if on 3g. Here's hoping.

Dirty flashing isn't recommended because it can cause a fair few issues. So it's always better to clean flash.

I know for a fact that dirty flash of CM11 will work just fine - one exception is RC2, and RC2 Update 1, because these are ION builds. My guess is that it is possible, but you are on your own. What is stoping you from testing? Just do a backup from TWRP and flash the ROM and boot.img. You will get "Android is upgrading" and ROM will boot for sure. If my latest porting of old framebuffer to new ion graphics stack turns out sucessful, minimum brightness bug and blocked proximity sensor during call will be fixed also, so only the Viber problem will remain - this problem plagues a lot of CM11 builds for similar devices - Blade III, Huawei, Pico...
Soft reboot and Wifi tether are fixed because I ported the proper driver from 3.4 kernel in the meanwhile.

I do not know. I think that there will be no issues, can't guarantee that. If you make a backup of your current state, and fail to dirty flash, you can always return to that backup, dirty flash RC1 and it's boot.img. Upgrade to RC1 should be without issues, probably to RC2 U1 as well. But, I can't be sure.
