Hi All,
I need a little help on flashing "[ROM][TMO UVUBMI7][AROMA-ish]TweakedN3 2.0" to my ATT Note 3 with TMobile service.
Dwitherell mentioned on his Miscellaneous Notes section that there are a few boot.img files in the rom that ATT users cannot use and they are for TMo users only.
I have an unlocked rooted ATT Note 3 on TMobile service. For those who is in the same scenario as me and flashed the ROm by dwitherell, am I suppose to delete the "bootcolx.img" and "bootstock.img" in the rom zip file before flashing it with safestrap?
Thanks.

Hey everyone I use an ATT I717 unlocked on T-Mobile but it is on 2.3.6... Is there a flasdhable zip to bring my phone on a T-Mobile stock rom that is current? Also if there is will it contain the T-Mobile modem if it is necessary. Using the ATT phone I get normally LTE signal in most places. Thanks
Hi! First time posting so be kind.
I received a D950 (ATT) which I unlocked and rooted. My SIM is on T-Mobile so I am not getting OTA updates/upgrades. I figure the only way is with a custom ROM since the OEM packages are device specific, I think.
Question: If I install one of the ROMs here, how will updates/upgrade be performed? Will they then be OTA T-Mobile or will I have to rely on the ROM developer?
Again, a newbie.
I have just got a pre-owned Tab S2 T817W which is a Canadian version from Bell Canada.
It has been unlocked and I can put in another carrier's SIM card and use it.
However, it is in stock 5.1.1 stock ROM and I want to upgrade to the latest Marshmallow.
My questions are:
1) If I flash the latest ROM from Bell for this T817W, will the ROM lock it back to Bell only?
2) Can I flash other carrier's ROM, eg T817A (for ATT) T817V (for Verizon) etc?
3) Do I need to root it before upgrading if i want to have root in Marshmallow?
(EDITed: I found the answers to the questions myself. I was able to download a Marshmallow firmware for Canada instead for Carrier specific from Sammobile. Everything works as I have wished for, it is still unlocked, fingerprint detection works better and the tab even runs faster.)
Hello,
Can someone please post the complete Nougat Firmware. It will be 4 separate files the actual rom file, the modem file, the boot file and lastly the csc file.
I would like to switch my unlocked Sprint Galaxy S6 to Tmobile firmware but in order to do so I need these 4 files to flash via odin. I have done this on my unlocked Sprint S7 so I am confident it will work but need all 4 files.

Official nougat for T-Mobile isn't even out yet for the S6. For now, G920T models are getting nougat via custom ROMs such as LineageOS or AOKP
Thanks I guess I need to ask for newest marshmallow files then.
I have been reading all sorts of threads for the past week on how to do this correctly. I think I got it down, just need some confirmation.
I got an international Note 8 SM-N950F 128GB.
I updated to the latest SW via the OTA - Baseband: N950FXXS4CRG6, Build Number: R16NW.N950FXXS4CRG6.
During Setup, I did not put in my SIM at all, I Logged in to the samsung and google accounts.
Waited 7 days and now have the OEM unlock option available.
I want to use the device on USA T-mobile, and root the device and install Xposed and Viper.
Can this be confirmed as the correct work flow?
I will be following Dr. Ketan's Guide to Root and Backup EFS. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/how-to/guide-how-to-root-note8-efs-backup-t3677038
1) Flash TWRP via Odin
2) Flash the OEM Unlock Fix, which should also install Magisk.
at this point, I shall boot into the Stock ROM and ensure the OEM Unlock is available, and Backup the EFS partition using the app from Dr. Ketan's post.
Question is: at this point, after backing up the EFS, I can flash a custom ROM, correct?
3) Backup EFS
4) Install Custom ROM.
- I am thinking https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/development/rom-lightrom-t3768385
5) Flash the Tekhd Tmobile CSC Detonator https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ent/n8-s8x-s9x-oreo-t-mobile-efs-csc-t3772374.
A lot of Roms state they support Multiple CSC's. So, would this CSC Detonator be needed?
5) At what point in time Can I update Magisk or TWRP to the latest ones?
I just want to end some confusion I have. If you all on T-mobile can tell me the steps you took to get this working, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks for all your help.

hello,
any update from your effort to get volte ?
i think if you are on oreo, just need to flash the current detonator version for note 8 and see if it works. you can only use 1 CSC file (either multi or not) per phone.
