hi, i just modded my framework and systemui. one thing i did, i edited navbar height to 30.dpi and changed the icons
after watching the result i noticed that the back button on navbar (pic, left side) is out of order. it seems to be bigger than the Home and recent apps button.
the back button should have the same size like recent apps.
has someone an idea where i could look into?
the .pngs all have the same size. so im out of ideas for now
edit:nevermind, got it fixed....somehow^^

Hi All
not sure if any one has seen this just reposting , using LMT or Pie along with this mod makes your screen look really large with the full HD resolution

hit thanks if it helped..

Well, if you gonna do it, that would be cool) but it would be even coller if transparency will be for only 25%
I was trying to do it but i've got errors when i was trying to decompile systemui
There is my SystemUI (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3EVQbXIsV_PRC1iV3c3VE5MYkE/edit?usp=sharing)
And framework-res.apk (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3EVQbXIsV_PcEZINUZsWmdtaGc/edit?usp=sharing)
ok guys that method is a bit more complicated using KA07 tweak I disabled the nav bars and installed LMT and used the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.ppareit.hidebar this one to hide my status bar now I have full screen as home and for apps
here is a screenshot
if you just pull in the blankscreen top the status bar appears back
I have just installed 2.67 and have found the mod for smaller softkeys as I had on previous rom. But both the softkeys and the navbar are grey and I want them black. Looked into XML with notepad++ but wasn't readable. I would also like a DoCoMo statusbar with 2 rows of buttons, in black. Which of these things are available? Have spend quite some time looking for them but no success.
I'm looking for a way to make the nav bar/soft keys at the bottom of the display transparent everywhere, like it is on the homescreen on GEL
Anyone know of a method for doing this? I'm on the M preview.
I know it's possible with Xposed but I'm looking other ways.
Bump...anyone?
Bump....
It would be really easy to do if you decompile and recompile your systemui.apk but, it will not look like how you think it will look. Your nav bar will end up white or grey, because it will be transparent and behind the navbar will be dead space that is white or grey. All your full screen apps (Except launcher) do not sit behind the navbar.
I think what you actually want is a dynamic navbar that changes colour to match the primary colour of the app you are using, which is much more difficult.
Or... maybe you want an expanded desktop which allows the app to be true full screen, and you swipe up to bring the navbar up transparently over the app. Though this would cut any buttons or text fields off in the app when the navbar is up.
I see what you mean... Damn well that sucks.
Thanks for the reply.

No probs.
Okay so as you can see I have a dock and then my homescreen columns are 12x12
How do I lower the gap between the vertical icons? My margin height is set to none, I've tried setting it to small and still the same
Any idea? Screen shot attached
I've also tried making the icons bigger and trying without a dock and there's still a large gap between icons
I use a 7 column x 10 rows, and the gap between rows is somewhat like yours, I think there is no way to modify it, I tried with the normalize icon switch, but made no diference, I tried changing dpi in developer section, same thing
Hi there, I've tried to change the phone's DPI, but there's something weird...navbar, statusbar and shortcuts panel do not change with the rest of the interface! Looks like these elements cannot be modified, even with adb commands.
Has someone tried to do this thing too? Not a big issue, but the shortcuts' panel is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big for me.
No one?
I'm interested to know too. The notification bar is ridiculously tiny and there seems no way to resize it so it's easily readable.
I'm now using widgets just so i can see the time and battery power. Using a launcher that shows notifications on the apps on my home screen too.
Never had a problem like this with my pixel 2. Notification bar was legible out of the box
