No, as I said you don't need to relock because you have s-off !!!
are you returning your device to stock for repair under warranty? if no then stay unlocked and s-off.

Latest ota update (4.4.2) was pulled from HTC due to incompatibilities with some wifi rooter brands. So its is not available ota atm. It will probably be redeployed soon. You can also manually flash the ota from stock recovery if you want. Let me know if you want to and I'll explain you how, but before post an updated ''fastboot getvar all''.

download hboot 1.44 https://www.dropbox.com/s/uqe5y2iy7mjy0n6/orig_hboot_1.44.0000_M7_RUUmode.zip
and go to bootloader. Then write in fastboot "fastboot oem rebootRUU" without quotes.
When done write fastboot reboot-bootloader
Now download this RUU http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-exe/
Now start the RUU and phone will flash

[Closed][Q] How do I get S-OFF using rumrunner when my phone keeps rebooting?

Sprint
S-ON
HBOOT 1.55
TWRP 2.6.3.0 recovery
LONG story short, after failing to flash multiple roms and try restoring to my stock rom my phone will reboot about every 2 minutes. I have no Sprint service, as if somehow it was deleted off the phone or something. I am trying to get S-OFF so I can try to run an RUU. I am using rumrunner and I am paranoid that if I try to use this program and my phone restarts during the process that it will completely destroy my phone. Can anyone tell me what my options are?
[CLOSED]
I used the latest RUU without needing to have S-OFF. Phone is now fully restored to stock and fully functioning. :victory:

The first rom I tried to install did not support Sprint, so I downloaded a different one that did. I'm not sure about TWRP I'll have to look into that, but do you think the original rom that I flashed (that didn't support sprint) would of messed something up that would cause the other roms not to function properly?

I got it to successfully install and flash, but I still have the same problem. It didn't fix anything.
Takes me to the lock screen. Shows that I have no service. If I unlock the screen it takes me to the boot logo and restarts after about 2 minutes.

I'm lost

I have an HTC m7, S-on, hboot 1.56, and the bootloader is unlocked. The phone was updating a few days ago via WIFI when it was removed from the access point, and of course the update failed mid way through because of this. The phone shows a htc phone with a red arrow in the middle of it. I'm able to boot into the os, but I can't log into the services to set up the phone and I encounter multiple errors. How exactly do I just flash another stock ATT ROM? I was going to flash the original update that failed through adb but I have no recovery to do so. I'm not sure what to do, any help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
Anyone? I'm dying here lol.
No one has any clue to help me? I'm still stuck here.

since your phone is s-on, you can not flash the ota update manually. Anyway I don't think flashing the ota again could solve your issue. Looks like something got corrupted because the updated process aborted. There is a RUU that match your version you could use it to restore your phone back to stock. Using a RUU will wipe everything from your phone (like if it was brand new). make sure your bootload is locked or relocked.
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...9_10-26-1718-01l_release_356565_signed_2-exe/
btw have you tried a simple factory reset? Might worth a try before using the ruu

Yes I've tried to factory reset through recovery and the phone options but it doesn't fix the problem. I will try your route.

It would be to your advantage to get s-off on your phone also before taking the 5.x.502 update. ... just use the bulletproof kernel and your stock rom (after the RUU and custom recovery and Root)
delete

post your fastboot getvar all please without imei and serial number
I think I am in a similar boat as the first poster. HTC ONE M7 Tmobile, trying to get MMS working on ATT after Lollipop update. I rooted, unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP and then ARHD, lollipop version. Worked GREAT! But my work provider checks for Root, so I disabled SuperUser app and it still detected root. I then (like an idiot apparently) relocked the bootloader and now I'm stuck, TWRP won't load when I go to recovery. My phone is showing hboot 1.61.0000, S-on.
Typing "fastboot getvar" doesn't work, it just shows me the available commands...

yours is completely different, you should start a new thread really, but your problem is you locked the bootloader with a custom recovery installed, and now you cant unlock it cos the unlock token requires stock recovery, as your s-on and locked you cant flash anything, only way you can fix it is to find the stock firmware for 7.18.531.2 and flash that in RUU mode, it will put stock recovery back on your phone.
I think HTC site has the full stock t-mobile RUU which will return you to full unrooted stock
EDIT: yes they do, download is at the bottom of the page, follow the manual update instructions: http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-t-mobile/news/

When flashing a firmware extracted from an ota update yes, it must be done incrementally since these firmware are only patches (only the files to be updated are included in these firmware package, not everything). So if you skip a firmware version when flashing these kind of files, you might end up with some parts of the firmware not compatible with each others and the phone can brick --> qhsusb_dload mode.
When flashing a RUU that doesn't matters since it will flash everything so you can't end up with files that doesn't match together. But to flash a 7.xx.401.x RUU there are some requirements like having at least a 6.aa.401.bb version and hboot 1.57. Doesn't matter what number are at positions "aa" and "bb".
