Hi Guys,
My C6603 is acting up like crazy, I have reset the phone using emma from Sony, so the stock rom is on it now.
But the phone is randomly turning off without using the charger, when the charger is attached, no problem at all, I can do anything, but without charger, I start the camera app and the phone turns off, cant turn on the phone anymore till I have attached the charger. When its loaded up, battery says 90%. Even after a night of charging it wont stay stable without the charger.
Does anyone can help me with this problem?
I have a unlocked bootloader, could that be the problem?
Thnx in advance.
In first hand, having locked or unlocked bootloader has nothing to do with your problem.
Most likely sounds as a ser software problem

Thnx for your answer, I have been back to the store with my waranty, they think its a hardware problem and have send it away to Sony... so now we wait.
Hope that you restored TA partition, or they most likely claim it's your fault, not their's

Restore TA partition? Guess not, cause I have no clue what that means.
It is your actual warranty LOL.
If you are luck, they could not notice that the phone has it's bootloader tampered.
Sony states on developer.sonymobile.com that in some countries they do not accept unlocked phones into warranty

That is completly true, I WAS on a locked bootloader.
What I did today to try and fix it was locking the bootloader and using PCC to repair the phone, that worked, but still had the problems. So in the meantime I have locked to bootloader.
Sorry, but PCC doesn't touch the bootloader, so if you can flash with it, was in fact unlocked, and another thing is that software says...
Actually, PCC neither SEUS doesn't work with unlocked bootloaders, you have to flash an unlocked bootloader phone with Emma or Flashtool.

Not sure if I follow you.
I had a problem, I was on the unlocked bootloader at that time.
I have try to repair my phone with Emma, cause when I tried with PCC it said, cant do that cause of custom software. Emma did work and I reinstalled stock firmware. That didn't solve the problem, so I have locked my bootloader with flashtool and tried to recover the phone with PCC, at that time it did work, so the bootloader is locked again.
It did reinstall my phone, but still had the same problems. That is when I went back to the store.
Let's take one at a time.
Relocking bootloader with Flashtool doesn't restore the TA partition, wich on where your DRM Keys are stored. Unique for each unit.
You should have backed up the TA partition prior to unlock it.
You have them lost forever, and it is one thing that any service man would look for.
If they aren't present, means that you MAYBE installed custom software, and they can claim void your warranty.
Look for TA backup thread next time

Anyway, lets hope they wont mind it...

Hi, if I keep my Bootloader locked, does it mean I can always repair with SUS regardless of custom roms I am on?

I read that SUS refused to repair because stock apps were removed. So you should deactivate them instead of removing.

no, i think as long as it recognises official firmware (regardless of apps), it will reflash.

i think you need to unlock the bootloader to install custom roms, so technically if you keep the bootloader locked you'll always be able to repair.
Flashing a phone with a locked bootloader should always work as long as there are no extensive build.prop changes made.
Hi all. I have a big problem.
A digitizer in my XZ is broken. I have unlocked bootloader, so Im wondering, that Sony will accept my warranty. Touch doesn't work from middle to top of screen.
PLz, what can I do? New digitizer in Poland cost about 200 eur :crying:

Note that if (I guess you haven't) done this before unlocking your Bootloader, this is nothing for you. Since it could only be done before unlocking.

Forget about unlocking the bootloader, its not possible. No over/under-clock for you, no CyanogenMod or other goodies.
All carrier branded phones are locked and almost impossible to unlock.

is there chance to have -Bootloader Unlock Allowed: No - when my phone is from shop ? ( not from carrier, not branded)
I think that it's not the matter of branded/not branded etc. beacuse I've seen bootloader unlock allowed: yes after I rooted and installed CWM and TWRP; today I've reverted rooting via SPC and the bootloader unlock allowed is back on: no; so I think someone has to look through it to see if you can override it...

I doubt the Sony bootloader will be cracked any time soon as the Xperia T was never cracked and thats a much older device.
Unfortunately that means no custom kernels/CyanogenMod.
If you buy a factory unlocked device the bootloader will be unlockable/carrier branded devices may be locked and not unlock able.. Pretty simple really.
Sorry that I can't help much.
Un-lock Xpeia SP
If you Un-lock the Xperia SP for all Networks, does this make bootloader Unlock available?
If not, any Ideas why?

Nope. SIM-UNLOCK is separate to bootloader unlock.
It just doesn't.
On some old xperia phones you could open sim and bootloader like xperia arc if you used test point method to unlock sim it unlocked boot loader as well.
2013 xperia models that don't have removable battery are no longer able to use test point so you can't unlock boot loader or sim.
To unlock sim you need code which you cab buy from internet.
To unlock bootloader you need to contact your airtime provider and see if they will help in unlocking bootloader again this needs code but not freely available.

Can I root my Z1 having the 4.3 version without downgrading? If so please tell me. I downgraded yesterday and ended up not having having any signal and my imei was a bunch of zero's.
If you know a fix for the downgrading problem that is fine too, as long as I can root it preferably tonight.
Thank you in advance

Whilst downgrading, you have to downgrade to .257 and then to .534. The problem with disappearing IMEI happens only if you downgrade directly to .534.
If you have an unlockable bootloader you could unlock your bootloader and then flash a custom kernel.
If you are on locked bootloader or would prefer to not unlock the bootloader, the only way is to downgrade all the way to .534, root, install recovery and then prerooted firmware.
Could you walk me through the process of downgrading twice without unlocking the bootloader, thanks.

I known but TL cannot unlock bootloader
Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 2
Why can't? It's jus another mobile device from Sony.
Because TL is a local device
Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 2
Almost 99% of TL bootloaders are not unlockable, but there are a few that can be unlocked for some reason . The configuration shows a 'yes' instead of a 'no'. Yet the people get through the unlocking procedure but are stuck because they can't get fastboot to work. It's almost like every TL has its fastboot disabled. Most TLs are AT&T.

I wish I could unlock my bootloader on my old X10a on at&t, there has to be some way to do it. I just can't afford to brick my phone. Keeping lte seems to be the issue because how the bootloader is tied to the driver for the data radio somehow.

You can bootloader unlock it you just have to sim unlock it first, just use the page that they made to sim unlock phones and they should send you the code after that it's a matter of looking up the instructions ^^
