Wanted to change some of my choices without reinstalling everything.
If yes, how?
Thanks

AROMA
Seems you can re-flash the ROM without clearing any cache.
Aroma will satrt again and you can change your choices.
Watch seems to keep all software and settings...
I should really stop answering my own threads
You are correct

when i am adding new contact it just keep force close..any way to solve this?
Which ROM are you on? Do you have a custom dpi set?

Also, did you flash the Rom with or without Full Wipe. Many services f.c. if you just wipe cache and davnik.
Just guessing though, we need more info please.

Hi everybody! Thanks a lot in advance for your support...really helpful!
Well, after a while eventually i tried installing C.M. 10.1 on my gorgeous CM10, for a boost of coolness and the sw improvements, but had some issues along the path.
It seems alla right on the first place, but then i tried and the play store (and some other app like waze) wouldn't work.
So i tried to replace the gapps:
Install them from CWM couple of wipe cache, couple of dalvik wipe...and a reboot.
But then the entire sistem stop working.
What did I screw up?
Did I miss the "Clear data factory reset" step? Was it necessary?
Grazie from Italy guys!!

Usually clearing the data of the application in settings>apps solves the problem.
R: Upgrade from CM10 to 10.1...play store not working???
...so I was right? I did screw up the whole thing when I skipped the "clear data-factory reset" step?

The easiest solution is for you to reflash the ROM with all wipes its op suggests an make sure the gapps are for that ROM because they can be the cause of problems too

...OK. so I also have to find the right gapps. You know a good source for the CM 10.1 gapps??

Every time I reboot my handset (joker ROM btw) I have to wait for android to optimize apps and upgrade. Why does this happen and how would I go about changing that? Also the keyboard issue. It always defaults to the android default instead of the SlideIT keyboard. How do I fix these two issues?
Sent from my Atrix HD using xda app-developers app
Mine does the same thing with the optimizing. For the keyboard I backed it up with titanium then uninstalled and restored from backup.

Strange that has not happen to me so far but try flashing the rom again full wipe

Will do, it's really pissing me off

Mine does the same. It usually does that when you install an app as system app and it's building the dalvik cache for it.

That I could tolerate but it seems to do so no matter what, I'll experiment with if more.

i happens when u flash gapps on top of Joker, i didn't flash gapps & manually installed all the apps i need. now i don't get that apps loading screen on start up & my phone is super clean also everything works fine without gapps.
factory reset also removes that apps loading screen, do this if you need gapps.
good afternoon friends. I would like some information please . When I turn on every time the phone appears the message "android is being upgraded" .... is fast and starts normal, but it started appearing after I installed an app. Already uninstalled it all and it is still showing up. a problem or normal? thanks for attention and sorry my Inglês
This message appears almost every time you reboot in my experience. It's just the Dalvik-cache rebuilding and updating itself.

I researched and it was even the Dalvik-cache. is normal or do I need to do something? not appeared before. thanks
It's normal behaviour, no need to worry

It is normal for it to happen, but not on every reboot...I suggest clearing caches, wiping dalvik, reflashing your Rom and rebooting.
It will build the dalvik cache again, but then should not do it until you update, delete or install a system app

This typically occurs when you've installed an app that's not playing nice with the phone. Trying figuring out which app and remove it. This post however would be better suited in the QA section versus the developers section. You'll get better responses there.

Same issue with mine. And I think it started when I installed several of the android 5.0 lollipop apps with material design that I keep finding in the blog section on here. Must be the material design not playing well with KitKat. Cuz normally when I try to install the next versions apks on an older OS it gives me the parsing issue error but I haven't seen it adding or updating the google material design updated apks.

If you have a custom recovery like twrp then boot to it and then go to Advanced/File Manager/ then where ever you copied and pasted the apks at and delete them. You may have to mount system and data first under Mounts on the main twrp page. After all that go back into Advanced/Fix Permissions. Try that. Oh and in twrp you can go to Wipe/Advanced Wipe select System then at the bottom select Repair. Thats helped me out a few times. Or make a back up when you're good and just restore. Lol
