Wm6 Remote Access Error

Had to Remote access a SBS 2003 Server from my Vario III "for real" the first time today.
Seems if you use the on screen keyboard (large Keys - No numbers showing), when you press the 123 button to access the numberpad, the numbers don't work on the destination machine. (Update: The 1 does, not no others)
Tried with Small keys (Number showing) and the PCM Keyboard - same effect - only the "1" transmitted, all other number keys are inoperable.
Same goes for using the real keyboard, as the Fn button has to be used, and this seems to affect the remote access (ie no numbers appear)
As I use complex passwords, I had to enter these on the application page before connecting - no problem there, but not being able to type numbers when connected is no good.
Any ideas - there doesn't appear to be an about/version screen on WM6 Remote Access.
Bump!
Has anyone got Remote Access to work AND type numbers?

Connect via WIFI? or GPRS?
I connect via WiFi.
I use RescoExplorer to check Network connection and can connect without problems to Shared Folders.
Are there any WiFi configurations I must change?
Can nobody help?
I was having the same problem, but now I have found the answer. The Remote Desktop Mobile application does NOT have Network Level Authentication. In the Remote Settings on my laptop (the computer I was connecting to), I had it set to only allow connections with Network Level Authentication. Now I've set it to allow any connection (less secure, mind), and the RDP Mobile works!
To change it (in Vista):
Open up the System page
Click on Remote Settings in the left-hand menu strip
Select the option to allow connections from any version of remote desktop
Click Apply / OK
It should work now Though if anyone knows how to get it into landscape view... ?
Landscape view...
Yep, depending on how your ROM is setup or if you have that 'gyrator' program. You'll need to make your phone landscape before opening remote desktop (or at the connection screen). If your phone doesn't automatically turn landscape with Remote Desktop then manually set it to remote desktop under system settings before using Remote Desktop... it works!

Remote desktop (weird issue, s an i key don't work)

Hi,
I have the strangest thing on my HTC touch pro when using remote desktop.
This is my set up:
->ZaTunnel to connect to an ssh server within the local network at my workplace, with the port 3389 forwarding to a remote desktop enabled windows pc at my workplace (lp 3389; IP/URL: "Hostname"; rp 3389)
->WM6 Remote desktop connects to localhost with the username and password of "Hostname" at my workplace
This seems to work perfectly, I can see the desktop of "Hostname", with the only problem that my s-key and i-key don't seem to work, which is really annoying. They still work on my mobile, but not within the remote desktop session.
Any ideas?
My ROM (if needed):5.05.404.1 NLD
WM6 Remote Desktop I got from https://www.kckenterprises.com/WM6RDP.cab
i also get the same thing...I'm not sure why...and numlock On and Off everytime I type with the onboard keyboard..so its hard to enter other numbers (or it does not enter at all) besides the number 1.
as a temp work around you could always use windows on screen keyboard, it is hiding under accessories--> accessibility options.
Happens to me too, although on a different device (HTC Kovsky aka Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1). Backspace key doesn't work either
i can't seem to find the accessories -> accessibility option?
Layzieguy, what ice_coffee is saying is the on screen keyboard of the (windows xp) remote computer you're connected to. This you can find in Start > All Programs > Accessoires > accessibility options > "On-screen keyboard". This is indeed a workaround, but it's a pitty we can't fully use our quite descent hardware keyboard on the touch pro and xperia apparently.
So, just to make sure, you guys also use ZaTunnel in combination with WM6 Remote Desktop? Just so we have an idea where the problem lies.
Can anybody help a nooby:
when I remote desktop into XP, I just can't see most of the screen, even if I set my XP desktop to lowest avail res (600x800). Shouldn't I have scroll bars on my Fuze Remote Desktop app?
OK, that's quite strange actually, you shoul at least have scrollbars.
What I see, is most of the desktop, automatically on a VGA resolution, with scrollbars. When I put this on fullscreen I can see the complete desktop without problems, so now we have a second problem...
angelofhope, oh on your actual windows desktop...I guess you could use that..but oh wells..it works all good but just that...
markmensch, did you try the options before you log on?

Custom Geofence/Location Profile Area/Path?

In tasker and many other geofence apps, you pick a location and then apply a radius (circle) and then some task is performed when device is in that area. That's great but what I want... Instead of a radius, is there a way to make custom-shaped areas or draw a path and then apply a small radius along that path?
Example/idea is let's say that I want my phone to have Bluetooth enabled when I'm in a location, but that "location" is the highway I take to work. So I'd draw a "path" along the streets and highway I travel and then a 100m radius (or 30m, whatever) with the center point on my path makes an area. Think of it like, drawing a path with an ink pen, then go over the narrow pen line with a fat tip marker to make the "area". So same concept as the existing tasker location profile but draw a path or make a custom area by tapping "points" that make an enclosed area.
Anything like this?
Closest I've found so far is someone who used some online Google Maps API website where you input directions (A to B) and it spits out latitude and longitude points every x distance in the "path" to a file. Then they constantly check if device is near any of those "path points" and if so tasker does something or keeps doing something until it's no longer near any of the "path points". But the whole process seems pretty intensive and requires reformatting the API output into a reference file that tasker has to open, split, check, then go to next point. Seems really complicated.
