I have an issue where my atrux HD don't vibrate on key touches and I believe it doesn't vibrate when ringing as well, although I felt vibrate touch for a couple of seconds and then goes away, any way to fix it? Or is it a hardware issue? ?

I have same issue
Are you running a custom or stock ROM? Has it always behaved this way?
Its fully stock. Not unlocked or anything. It didn't do it when I first got it a year ago..but does now

Here's my op. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2863556
Also, could I access bootloader via adb, or does it need to be unlocked first?

SO i've noticed that when I use a camera or some types of apps. My revo seems very laggy. But becomes extremely fast when I reboot it. Is there any reason why this happens? I force closed all my running apps, still sluggish.
Maybe when they're closed they're not giving the system back all of the memory they'd claimed. Maybe it'd show up in in system settings > applications > running services. Mine shows 80 mb free and it's running well at the moment.

I've looked in both the Running applications and in the Rom Tool Box's running application. \:
One fix I found was going into camera and pressing "back" seemed to alleviate the lag.
I haven't noticed any slowdowns since going back to the stock kernel.
My last uptime was >120 hours with no slowdowns. I only shut it down because I had to go into a courtroom this morning. Ah, jury duty!

are these drivers compatible with explosion rom v 2.1 because i could not get my device booting after installing them through recovery...my phone got stuck at boot animations for about an hour after which i had to reinstall the rom
Screen shots please

In case anyone is wondering these drivers work fine with nameless rom version 7.0.0
The screen clarity is subtle but noticeable, and I think the contrast is definitely improved.
Seems to make the phone a good deal snappier, and smoother especially during scrolling, unless that's just my imagination.
Thanks for this It's a great improvement.

I do as it's so easy to do its become habit. I'm not even sure if they work or if einstein.frat or nikhil16242 have added them to their rom/launcher. I always figure hey it can't hurt :cyclops:
it wouldn't hurt if you asked both those devs in their threads a)what they think of the mod b) have they , could they add it to their mods . hope that helps
I'm not sure if they do make any difference maybe someone should try to play a game such as dead trigger without the jelly bean drivers, and then with and see if there is any difference in both the performance and picture quality, If I have time i'll test it out.
ok i thought so thanks for ur answer m8:good:
Is it just me or the colors really have more depth with this? Which you can immediately notice in the grey apps menu frame for example.

Yeah I have noticed that too, everything is more "crisp"
No difference on my screen, everything looks the same, I use the liquidsmooth script so my Nova launcher is smooth as before without the drivers
I thought this would fix the colour gradient, but that is still here. Maybe I am not looking hard enough
these drivers auto shut themselves :/ i can guess this cuz display changed after 5 seconds back to normal from crisp ! :/
these drivers stop :/
works fine for 5 mins but colour changes back to normal after 5 mins :/

Hi,
I own a SGS for almost 2 and a half years and been changing roms since forever and never saw something like this which leads me to wonder if its hardware.
I was with Slim Bean 3.1 for some time (and the latest compatible Semaphore kernel) when this started happening. Note that I didn't change a thing regarding system settings between everything being ok and this happening. Randomly, I receive a call or call someone and can't hear a thing. The other side can't hear anything at all as well and I can only solve this by rebooting the phone. If a reboot solves it (until it happens again) I thought it could be software wise. So I updated to Slim Bean 4.2.1 RC1 + latest Semaphore (full wipe). Thing is, it continued to happen. Plus, when I'm able to talk to someone on the phone, they say they can hear their voice (echo). I tried using headphones to check if the issue was with the speaker but that doesn't solve it either.. Not a sound through the headphones. The phone rings if I get a call and the call goes through if I make it but neither me or the person on the other side hears a sound.
I know this is something that is probably hard to diagnose but, please, I need help. I'm tired of needing to reboot the phone almost every time I want to talk on the phone. Any idea?
Changing rom?

The Slim Bean version changed and AOSP version changed as well from 4.1 to 4.2.1. Plus, that started happening after being with the same rom for a while. That's why it doesn't make sense to me that it could be the rom.
I have this problem to on my sgs but with cm 10.1,any solution?

VoiceRe: Can't hear caller/caller can't hear me
I had this problem on my epic and comes to find our it was because of the Google voice app. Even after I uninstalled the app my account was still active and I had to go on the pc to fix it. Once my phone wasn't linked to Google voice the issue went away. How this helps

Some days later, I removed the battery, cleaned the SIM card and pressed the ear speaker area using my thumbs on both sides of the phone. I don't know if that was what fixed it or if there was anything to be fixed. Truth is, it never happened again.

Thanks

Is it dark? They don't light up in a bright environment. Hold your hand over the light sensor and check again.

Yep it's pretty dark in here. I was holding down the power key in the lock screen earlier trying to power off and realised you can't do it without unlocking. Wondering if I have pressed something there as when I do it again they both flash for a few seconds
Try a piece of folded up paper or something over the 2 senors on the top left of the front top speaker.

All that does is restart the phone, it's the equivalent of a battery pull.

Why?
It's a feature to help you in dark conditions, do you need them on all the time?
It'd be nice if they reliably worked in the dark though. In bright sunlight they will try and compete but, in dead of night, they hide their brilliance.

Must be a defect then, you need to post in the "issues" thread, i just tried mine from one room to another in my humble abode and they showed up, and then they slowly faded as i walked back into my seductively lit lounge area.
