Hi Friends.....
I love this forum, It made me learn a lot and made me a expert flasher ...
But our beloved device is at the end of its life.
So majority have changed their phone and shifted to other one.
So now write down which phone you bought after this ??? Why you chose it and Pro/Cons of it....... What did you do with old one(sold/Gifted/Dustbin)?
Moto g
Pro : everyone know About it
Con : not yet found
410 : still I'm using it with stock no root sharp firmware.
Moto g is a perfect replacement for mi410 with more development

Still using my fih fb0, as for daily use is still enough for me... i guess i'll stay with this device for while.. hmm moto g should be good for replacement though

EDIT 2: Sold optimus black ( very cheap ) going to buy Xperia neo v on monday any coments??

I sold my Galaxy Tab to buy Optimus Black...
Anyways Desire HD if you want 8MP camera and 4.3 inch display & Desire S if you want front camera.
Dont buy Sony Ericsson devices bcoz its over now (only Sony from now) its support will soon be stopped by Sony (marketing strategy to increase its sale of new Sony devies).
I were you I would rather go for Desire HD.
DHD
Desire HD definitely, that was my device before OB, and now i miss that phone very much it's a great phone and it already have ICS and new HTC Sense 3.6 and 4.0 lite. DESIRE HD would be my choice
+1 for desire HD, great phone.

My God are you Impatient! I seriously doubt you know what "long time" means.
Whats wrong with people today? No patience and absolute devotion to deliberate obsolescence! "Oh there is an Update...i better get it within a few months or gtfo" and "Oh, i found something that Lags a sec.... better sell it and get something new"
I cant wait for the time when Technology gets expensive again (due to short resources or some real new inventions and not just "more HD" and "more whatever") and People start thinking with their Head instead of letting corporations think for you.
This is not about LG update Policy, its a general problem.
Sry, but i had to let it out!
PS: I bought a OB because it was cheap and got a bigger and better screen than the gt540. I owned 2 Smartphones in my life and i am still alive and well. before the gt540 i owned a Nokia 3310 for years.

Because only some people got Battery Problems here is a simple solution: smartflash the Original ROM and send it to LG for a repair. They fixed mine within 2 Days!
And if you want a long batterylife: Dont buy a Smartphone.
Mmm I agree that the OB have battery issue and yes it pisses me off too.... mm maybe you can consider having a phone with a large battery... just search at gsmarena. Of course, a smaller screen = more battery juice. So maybe consider a 3.7" screen like Motorola Defy (I had one, good battery life, and a lot of Roms!) Or even the Desire S (never used but Sense UI is great, & has front facing cam)

I dont know the device rates but since u gave 3 devices I chose the best according to my opinion.
+ desire hd is also getting ICS!
And one very imp thing as u r using OB whose Nova display is best in class so when u buy new phone with lcd screen none will satisfy u in display performance only samsungs super amoled displays fights back to NOVA display so all phones u listed fail in display quality by long way.. neo v display is disaster in front of OB

Display is not the problem becoz 700nit brightness hurts my eyes
It's hurting when you use it at night but when it is sunny, there you can appreciate the NOVA 700nits display. Other LCD like you have mentioned above is poor. On bright sunny days, you can't clearly see the screen. All smartphones has battery issues. That's a smartphone in nature. But it's your choice. We have our own discretion with regards to it. Moreover, I'm not here to argue with you. As to your question, I'll go with Neo V. My cousin have it and it's a great phone. Has HDMI too. And ICS was already released.

i didnt get u
pahahahahah
arealready with regret of sell your OB.
today was released ICS (CM9 and MIUI V4) for ob
I read on other forums that the developers who work for XDA and have worked for the Optimus 2X have not yet decided to buy the Optimus 4X.
I'm quite sad to have read this, I am convinced that a device like this has the right to have a community that we work on it.
I certainly hope that is not overshadowed unlike the SGS3 and the X One, excellent devices in my opinion, although this time with LG Optimus has really done a good job and would be a shame not to maximize its potential!
Given a chance even to this little trinket to compete with others!
I agree, the 4X is a huge step from the 2X, everything i didn't like about the 2X has been improved in the 4X like the size and weight of the phone, the o2x is too big and heavy for a 4", now the 4X is perfect for the 4,7" screen, louder speaker, the only thing i think is a step down from the 2X is the MHL-HDMI, i'd rather have HDMI port like the 2X has.
For the reasons above i will buy a 4X later this year, because LG has changed for the better IMO.
Come on guys! Make your voice heard!

strength we need answers! Think you also that our Optimus 4X has the right to have a guide to the Root, Basebands, ROMs, etc..?
Or would you prefer to use this fantastic product as LG has done it?
Instead of opening thousands of posts where we praise and adore this device, we respond to one and we feel our voices to the community.
the x4 is definitely the finest and better choice compared to s3/one X - Straße we need a new root

Hi, i have a Motorola defy and i want to buy a razr i, But first i want to know if this device Will have cyanogenmod and active development.
And besides i want to know if it Will be a good purchase.
Thanks in advance and greetings from argentina

In my view, it will be certainly a good purchase, but the chance of the device receiving a 'non-stock-based' ROM like CyanogenMod, as things are now, is very low. The sources released by Motorola are broken.
Things may well change in a very near future, but that is my hope and nothing more concrete than that (again, considering things as they are now).
BTW, I must say I am having the 'smoothest' and 'closest-to-pure-android' experience in a stock ROM ever. I'm really happy with it.

Thanks for the quick answer But i have another doubt. What about the performance vs galaxy s3 for example, i was reading that the razr is faster than the s3 when you open an app. Is that True? Also understood that the camera isnt very good, what about that?
Thanks again

In raw performance, the S3 will surely beat the RAZR i. But it seems legit that the perceptive performance, mainly general usage of apps and system features, is on par with the S3. I haven't had a S3 in my hands to really attest it, though.
The camera produces lots of noise on dark photos. LOTS of noise. But overall it is fine, if you don't expect your phone to replace a dedicated camera for the most demanding situations.
AW: Razr i development future
Its fast at opening apps fast st browsing loading pages and JScript overall the best with the iPhone.
It doesn't bench bad, at CPU and memory its very fast while the GPU performance is bad, good enough for all games with some reduced details though.
If you want a fast phone with good battery life and compact size its RAZR I or iPhone 5.
If u can live or even want it big go s3, nexus4 they are good phones, the one x plus is good too but its expensive.

The sources were fixed a long time ago by Motorola! Why everybody is saying the same wrong things over and over again????
Stop doing this, then maybe at some point somebody will develop sth

All I know is that they did release new sources, but haven't seen anyone built it successfully yet nor use it to build a device tree for a custom ROM.
If you know something else, please share with us.

The problem was that at the very beginning the source packages / one of the source packages was corrupted, which means that it was not extractable. This was fixed in November or December according to the razr i sourceforge page. Now you can download and extract all files. The fact that nobody was able to compile it does not mean that they gave us bad sources!!! Its just not completely easy and needs some experience ...

After 2.5 years of using this great piece of hardware, I've moved on and got myself a Moto G.
During those years, I've dropped my Mi410 multiple times, drenched it in rain and manhandled it in many ways, but it never complained and always went strong. The only time I had to use another phone was when I had messed up a flashing and soft bricked it. After Spice service centre returned it without repairing, I, with the help of this great community and some crazy experimentations got it back to life.
Also, I've been using it without a screen guard for almost 2 years and not even a single scratch on its glass. Truly amazing and it makes me wonder if all this hype about Gorilla glass is artificial. So hats off to Foxconn and all other parties involved in the hardware. It's a pity that such great hardware doesn't get the success it deserves because of lack of software support. But thanks to XDA, we could enjoy a large variety of Roms (especially MiUi )and made it a pleasure to use the phone. I was hopeful of a KK update for a while, but then decided to move on to another VFM phone.
So thanks to TjStyle and all other devs and users for sharing their work. I'll keep checking back for a KK update. Hope to see some familiar faces in Moto G forum
Congrats for Moto g.
I'm on same boat.. Got my moto g on last Saturday already upgraded to kitkat. Feeling awesome experience with KK
Had very good time with mi410, still I'll be using fih-fb0
I miss u guys
Got my Moto G also.. Using mokee KK..
Still using Spice Mi410 for my secondary number. Truly great n badass phone.. Never complain bout ut strength..
