Hi guys, any ideas on how to fix the frequent wifi disconnecting issue in JVS? I tried changing wifi driver, changing bootloader, nothing seems to be working. On other base such as JVR and JVQ, I don't seems to be facing this. So it's definitely JVS, and I also seen people who's facing the same issue as me. So any helps on how to fix this is greatly appreciated .
install jvp bootloaders.
wtf does a bootloader have to do with wifi issues?
clear the address reservations or try a different encryption method

Clear address reservations? how? different encryption method on the router or the phone? hope u can elaborate for me .
Most users reported the issues were gone when they removed address reservation for their phone on the router. I assume you don't have one then. What method of security for your wifi network do you use ? WEP? WPA2 ?

There is a problem with kernels based on older versions than JVS. If you use stock kernel or DarkCore or any other JVS based kernel the Wifi problem should be solved.

Is there any other way of solving this problem. Because I am gonna need wifi for public AP at least.
I didn't have any custom kernel just stock JVS odex, (repartition checked in odin with 512 pit) and still had that problem.
I moved to JVR because of this...

I didn't notice these problems on MIUI 1.9.23, maybe it's fixed there or did anyone noticed the wifi issues on MIUI?
I think the problem occurs on some devices on others don't. Similar as Phone FC bug. Many people had it, me personally never...
After reading a lot of post looking for a solution my conclusion today is that there is NO FIX for WIFI BUG on JVS today.
As thsi apperas to be quite random phenomena, some people just flash a kernel, rom bootloader,etc...fix their problem and think they have foud THE solution, but unfortunately there is no fix that works always
I hope, wish, desire somebody probe me wrong
Well i found out that everthing is working fine at my girlfriends wifi but at home there are the wifi issues. So I think it's something in the wifi, which the phone isn't able to handle with.
I have installed GingerXperia custom ROM just a week ago. My Android version is 2.3.7 and kernel is 2.6.29.6-nAa-14. I have now CWM based Recovery. Wifi was worked for 2 weeks and now when I turn it on, it couldn't explore the new stations. So I can not connect to the internet.
What do you think, what should be the problem?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Forget the unnecessary wifi network.. at max there can be only 3 wifi netwrks remembered.. these could be the prob..

Why android is not fully compatible with VPN connections?
In gingerbread encrypted connections don't work also in ics none of pptp or l2tp/ipsec work, why?????????????????????
Because of our unofficial Rom????

LOL!!!
Because Amol has internet connection problem specially in Dabaghe Chal, :silly: paeen bazar and some parts of Imam Reza St. (between kooche lotfi and kooche jahanbakhsh.
Anyway,i have this problem only with ICS 4.0.4 roms and some custom roms have orientation problem when you are going to enter username and password of VPN. if you encounter `` unsuccessful`` it is something wrong with your rom....but if your vpn connection is done and you have problem with opening play store you should check your internet wireless connection or better to change your VPN provider.
how to fix VPV
