I can get the themes downloaded on my phone into my downloads folder and styler picks them up in there and loads them but here is where I am stuck.

Is there a watchstyler app in the "tizen" store?
This is due HTML5 based OS on the Neo and Gear2...
Gear1 runs android so someone needs to see if there can be a app created for HTML5.... Sadly WatchStyler is not compatible with Gear2 and Neo

No, from www.gearfaces.com. The Gear Faces from Samsung App store works fine.....but not what I want
Watchstyler
I find it hard to believe that the Gear2 would be released without an app for making watch faces. Watchstyler was universally touted as being THE most useful and popular app for the original Gear. Surely Sammy would capitalize on its popularity! The next smartwatch I purchase would have to allow me to continue to enjoy the plethora of watchfaces created by the talented folks @ XDA! For me it is a watch first!... and I am spoilt to the core after having so many choices of faces to ever go back to just a few primitive "cartoonish" dials! I want the new Gear2 so badly I can taste it! But until we can "port" over the watchfaces already available or come up with a viable method of creating new ones in Tizen I will continue to enjoy what I have.... which, after all, is still a [email protected] piece of technology!.... sorry... just had to get that off my chest!.

Why would Samsung capitalize on it? It was never their app to begin with. It was a privately created app. Blame the creators of watch styler for not rewriting the app for the gear 2.

Why would Samsung capitalize on it? Are you kidding? One of the major complaints (one) was that the Gear was released with a very limited collection of stock faces. Even now there is only a handful of "crackerjack" watchfaces. I'm not blaming anyone.... simply stating my dismay and disbelief that there seems to be no method (now) of rocking out the Gear2 with a little more sophisticated watchfaces. I work in a luxury jewelry store and certainly won't be wearing a S5 wallpaper on my wrist. I am well aware that it was created by one of Sammys "partners".

You can change the backgrounds..... Lol. I know it's not much.. but what can we really expect 2 days after its release? Devs are probably waiting to see if the buzz behind these products actually produces numbers. Maybe when enough purple start clamoring for it someone will step up to the plate and create an app. It just sucks (IMO) because the big draw was suppose to be how easy it would be to create html5/java apps.... but no one has actually done it yet....

Comments, suggestions and feedback would be greatly appreciated as we are always looking to improve the app!

I prefered the LazyTube tile with the youtube colors rather than the theme color. Too many developers do that, it get boring having a whole main page made of the same color.
As for features, I just love the app.

Glad you like the app! Will try and do something about the tile but we've had quite a bit of positive feedback from the introduction of the latest one/
The apps itself is great (thx for ad free version). I am living in marketplace unsupported country. Once there will be a possibility for buying the app in my country so I will buy it.
Thank you for good work.

Now don't you dare to change that tile again! Honestly, it's great. It's just that small area around the word "tube" that adepts the style color. It fits perfectly into the homescreen. I like it exactly the way it is.

Yeh, we are really quite happy with how the tile is now and at the end of the day it's nearly impossible to please everyone but we'll continue doing our best.
That's odd. The tile icon on my copy (v 2.2) doesn't change at all. It looks exactly like the icon in the OP. Maybe I need to uninstall/reinstall?
[Edit] Never mind. I just figured out that the complaint was about the Lazy Tube icon, not the free version.
I need to say that I like your app so much. And I am also in the country which cannot buy the app. But if I can in near future, I will buy it for sure.
Just another shallow comment. Would you mind to re-design your application logo?

If you make a theme scrolling down Wormy's body please make that just an add-in skin. That would be Ugly IMO. Sorry.
I have a Question about the Lazylist. You say it's customizeable but how? Also can I make a suggestion? How about a way to make playlist on Youtube(Desktop) that can be imported to your fine App?
Hi,
Is there something you could do to improve the Favorites please?
Certain videos do not appear in the said list. The mobile phone restriction shall not apply to smartphones.
HTC YouTube and SuperTube apps give me access to these videos.

Hi, we will constantly be looking to improve our brand image so yes the logo will no doubt change over time. We are currently focusing on some new and exciting functionality so it may be a little bit before we have the time to address the logo but we'll definitely consider it.

Yeh, we've had a very mixed reaction to our beloved lazy worm and it seems like it's very much love/hate. I think for the mean time we'll probably focus on providing an amazing experience rather than skinning the app.
The content displayed within the Lazylist can be selected from within the 'Lazylist' settings screen. So it will populate video content from your preferred feeds and mash them into one list.
We will also definitely consider playlist support for future updates.

Could you please send us an email ([email protected][DOT]com) with the exact list of videos that are not displaying. We will do our best to get to the bottom of it, if HTC displays them I'm assuming perhaps it is a bug from our end.
Thanks for the fantastic feedback guys!
By the way, expect a little update to be out soon. Although it's a minor update that addresses some pretty nasty bugs we've found we also added in a few features we think you will like .

These videos are indicated on the website as "cannot be played on mobile phones".
But in my opinion we are not concerned, they are talking about formats that shall not be played on basic phones. Not smartphones. If SuperTube can play them LazyTube shall play them too, seriously. You are limiting your app too much.
Regarding the current LazyTube logo, I shall admit that I do not like it too much. I really did not like the Worm, but the new one is a bit boring. Especially the name "LazyTube" is not very positive. Hard to like somehing that is "Lazy"
Why not a real Metro icon, I mean totally the color of the theme, and just the name in transparency? Anyway, I am sure we can do better.
I am a terrible designer, but why not this spirit (just an humble suggestion):
Love the app
I have been using this app since I got my Focus over a month ago. I love it and am waiting anxiously on what new features are in the works. Any hints

We will investigate it further, as I said before we're just trying to be cautious. You mentioned that the HTC app displays them? Can you confirm this, like I said we'd be interested in knowing exactly which videos are not being displayed so we can look into it properly.

Our name and brand is not something that we can change at this stage, admittedly perhaps we went a little too far with the 'light hearted' approach but we wanted to have a little fun with it.
We are a two geeks who like to work through the night and often find ourselves sleeping in so 'lazyworm apps' was kind of a way of making fun of ourselves.
We were hoping people would not take the "lazy" too seriously and see it for what it is, a light hearted way of distinguishing our brand from the rest.
We have had mixed reactions to it and so far people either love it or hate it... so at least we are not 'mediocre'
Finally, the icon has been a really tough one as nearly every revision has a similar reaction to that of our brand. Either love or hate, we will no doubt work very hard to improve our brand but as I mentioned we will be focusing on streamlining the app and adding in new features at this stage.

If anyone is interested there is a new build for the WP7 music player for android. I love the design of the player, and from the little I have used it the app seems to work great on the Fascinate.

The app he linked to is Fede's . The screenshot is ours which has been taken from a pirating site where it leaked . Search market for Zplayer . We had to stop updating it there because of all the leaks .
I was only saying ours as of now is ahead of Fede's ... and the screenshot is of ours . Since with his , you can see the notification bar and the word music is smaller . Ours is full screen (as pictured above) and the word music is larger . Trust me, i know my own groups apps when i see them
Good start from Fede though . Like i said , he is a good dev and im sure it will get better with more options . We are doing the entire UI , not just the media player .

So is the zplayer in the market your version or the pirated one ?
Zplayer in the market is ours. But we haven't updated it there because of piracy. But, we realize there is really no realistic way to stop piracy .. it's part of the world. So we have some math to change in the scrolling and it will be updated there. That should be pretty soon. I have an internal test build now ... but when we fixed scrolling, it broke something else haha. So that will be worked out soon and pushed to the market.
Also, I'm working with the guys on a little promotion to give the wp7 lock screen away for free. Im running a test now and its awesome. So as soon as I get it cleared with the others, I will post details.

good, i bought it. still a bit laggy but i bet there are bugfix versions coming ;-)
I wonder how the recognition of artists and cover arts is working... since it doesnt seem to really work (on fedes neither).
I dont have id3 tags for all mp3, but at least the name of the artist and song title as mp3 name. i guess the easiest way would be to look for plausible names here as well right ? this doesnt work, also if it must display a cover art, then a generic and not 200 times the same that is completely wrong by the way
cheers

For some reason I thought what you were working on was associated with Launcher 7, but I see that you are going to have a completely different launcher. Pretty exciting. How is it different exactly? (I've never used a Windows 7 Phone, just Launcher 7 on Android)
Should we just follow your site for updates, or is there an XDA thread?

For some reason I thought what you were working on was associated with Launcher 7, but I see that you are going to have a completely different launcher. Pretty exciting. How is it different exactly? (I've never used a Windows 7 Phone, just Launcher 7 on Android)
Should we just follow your site for updates, or is there an XDA thread?

The main difference is ours is not just a launcher. We are working on a suite of amps to change the overall ui to wp7. We love the looks of the os, but don't want to leave android for it. So the idea is to mix the best of both worlds.
The lock screen (posted above) promotion will probably start tonight or tomorrow. We got it to a point last night where we are comfortable with releasing it.... for free even . So if you haven't done so yet. Sign up at our website. WWW.wp7android.com and check the details out there . I also got a deal with theultralinx.com, so the info will be posted there as well.

The fourth pack, inspired by the famous PAMs, is now online.
The example shown below is Lüm-Tec M24 in 6 different variations.
See more pictures in the following postings and in Android Market.
All clock packs come with such variations to offer more options to
fit your wallpapers.

The background:
End of 2009, my personal smartphone era took off with one of the greatest devices I ever owned: I bought an HTC HD2,
which is known as the device which can be used with more OS platforms than any other (so far).
Sense 2.5 got even better when CHT (Cookiemonster´s Home Tab) came as an extension, and I started to theme the clock option.
After my HD2 fell to a stone floor and the screen broke into gazillions of tiny little pieces,
I had to move on, and after having been able to make extensive tests, I went for Android.
I actually don´t miss anything to set up my device to my taste - except for the clocks.
There are quite a few available in the web/market, but many of them come without a hand for the seconds,
not to mention missing display of the date and more.
The first step is made, I looked for a solution which is not eating too much battery,
and can be themed easily by an amateur like me. I again went for my favourite clocks from Lüm-Tec,
and with their official permission, their great clock design is now available for Android,
through using a special launcher called "Crazy Home" and its clock widget function!
Crazy Home actually reminds me strongly on CHT from its functionality (multiple home screens, easy to set up),
the free version includes some advertising. No big issue for me, and you can get the paid version without the advertising if that bothers you.
No advertising for that product from my side though, it´s just the (maybe temporary?) solution to get my clocks running on my phone.
The clocks have been tested on HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S II, both of them running Android 2.3.4, and no issues discovered so far.

Some other members asked me to open a new thread for the new port,
so we can collect more opinions and maybe find a programmer who helps to make a widget -
not only for me, but for many other users and clock themers!
Changelog as of October 25, 2011:
The fourth pack, with PAM inspired dials, is released.
There might come one more package, a mixed bucket, maybe,
without feedback, hard to decide what to do...

Thx for adding that...
I just discovered some little pixels which are not so well done by myself... will do an update soon.
And, I am working on the Combat B-Series port now. And wondering if I should port
another model, like with orange lume. Will see...
The fun part for me is still the fact that Crazy Home offers different home screens, like CHT... which allows fast switching between different layouts.

Hi Tictac,
Installed Crazy Home lite - looks good already.
Looking forward to the next releases... especially the Lum-tec concept watch
Is there any chance of an option to choose between quartz or mechanical movement for the seconds hand (ie jerky vs smooth); is this feasible at all?
Thanks A LOT already
cheers

Hi Ben,
I guess it *would* be possible... but that will need some programming.
The current solution is fine for now, as it is extremely battery friendly.
I hope sooner or later, there will be a solution for different movement behavior, show date etc.
Maybe Crazydude will jump in, I wrote an email asking about this kind of stuff...
hey tictac. . . came across your post in the winmo section (lume up your android phone) searching for panerai clock widgets. . amazing work! will you be making the panerai inspired lum-y clcoks available for android? those are just what i've been looking for.
thanks for the info

The PAM pack will be out sometime next week (at least definitely in October), for now, I just uploaded the Lüm-Tec M23 clock pack - an orange lumed watch.
This one I actually never published for Sense 2.5, so it´s brand new in a virtual sense. The real product, I was told, is sold out.
See posting #2 for some screenshots.
So it seems this home launcher is picking up some steam again... I thought maybe if I started this thread, we could get some devs on board and pick up support for this great launcher. Show some love and support by posting your screens and if you would like to share your setup, it's up to you (just don't forget; like I did to credit the original creator if you use their work... :0}
Edit: here is the link to download sweeterhome...

Thanks to Reinbeau, here is a tutorial thread since this launcher does have a little learning curve... :0}

Thanks for starting this thread, I do hope the devs work on the launcher again. That said since all the themes are available for download within the launcher, it would be nice if we credited the original ones too right? I see you're using a modded setup of my original theme (sheepo), would be nice if you could mention that too. I have made too many sweeterhome themes to post all here atm, will do later sometime. Look forward to seeing this thread grow.

Indeed a very nice launcher, I loved this concept of share to care.
I didn't know it existed until someone posted some screen grabs in a thread I watch recently.
Peeked at the forum and it looks dead & overrun by spam bots. Is the launcher stable enough for daily use? I'm downloading some different themes & messing around & it doesn't seem that hard to do. Will probably play with other people's themes a while before trying out one of my own.

I have been using this as my daily. So far so good. It took me a little while to get used to, but when I started messing around with other themes it all started to make sense... :0}
Sent from my rectangle robot.
I used it as daily for a pretty long time. It's not that it's that hard to customize, it is that it takes so much time!
I played for a while now and it seems pretty straight forward to me for most things. I like how in the sample themes people have made all sorts of setups that go in totally different directions.
Some quick thoughts/questions in no special order:
- User Base: I'm glad to see a couple replies already. I really don't want to get into this if I'm the only one using it. Need to have some people to bounce ideas off of & ask questions.
- Is it still in development, or is it 'finished' just the way it is?
- I like the idea of a slide down to the bottom of the + for all apps, but oddly I'm not seeing the use of the other 3 sides when it seems (off the top of my head) easier to hide & un-hide everything on one screen.
- There still no way to get to the other screens without a slide? Would be nice to make a button with a special action of jumping to one of the other screens.
- In some of the minimal themes, I see the use of the Contacts plugin/widget/thing. I like the look on the themes, but I don't want to see ALL of my contacts, just the favorite dozen or so. Any way to do it that I'm missing, or anyone know of a normal Android Widget that can show something like that?
- Overall, I'm probably going to play for a while & save version after version on my sd card (need to see where is saves, btw) BUT at some point I will really need to think if this method works any better then just Launcher Pro/Go Launcher/more 'normal' android home screens.

One of the main reasons I started this thread was I noticed more and more people using this launcher. It really is amazing how much customizing you can actually do. I was hoping if we get enough users the devs would pick up support for this and more features could be added. I am not sure if there has been any movement on this but the latest beta version was dated February 12th 2012(according to the website.) I too have not really found much use for the other slides but I guess it is nice if anyone uses a lot of widgets or simply just likes the real estate. I have not found if there is a way to jump to another screen by adding a springboard function, but I am still new to the launcher... Overall I feel this is the best launcher I have used as far as customizing goes, being able to move widgets, pictures, text boxes, wallpapers, colors, anywhere on the screen, as well as hide/unhide items; it's a themers dream... Just my two cents... On that note... Let's see some more screens!!!

I like both Ideas. I think I will do a Feed with different animations then, not only the kit one.
About the statusbar, don't we have this already? There is the one with the clock and the notification feed. What do you need more?
Thanks for making this thread! Great to see some interest in developing the unique features of our device!

After playing around several hours I have to say, animations are almost impossible to do on an Edge Feed.
As @RuggedHunter stated in his Thread, Feeds are very limited by default. I tried to use a canvas and just draw on it. Unfortunately it looked terrible and very smudgy. Also, Feeds can't update that often it seams. This means you would get a very slow and lagging animation. I don't know if I will get it working properly with all those limitations...

I think you want an Edge Panel. On a Feed you won't see anything ^^
This should be alot easier because it doesn't involve any real rendering.

True, if the goal is to publish on Samsung Store. Maybe consider several small apps instead of one conglomerate app? Publishing individually might give you the opportunity to develop without limits, and only provide widget view feeds to Samsung Store.

Of course I will do multiple apps. It would get a huge mess if I'd put everything together ^^
You can display informations and stuff really easy with it but everything else gets quite complicated. Also there is only a very small documentation about the API so you have to try arround all by yourself :I
