Over clock..? - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Are there any kernels (CM11 compatible ) that allow for over clocking, or is there a way to force this or edit files to do this myself?
Edit: Was meant to be in the 8.9 thread.. Mods please move, my bad.

Nexus 4 Stock Kernel[JOP40D]

I wasn't going to upload this because I don't have the device and figured someone else would, but because I keep getting PMs about it I decided to pull it from the factory images on Google.
Thanks to neectron for making it into a flashable zip for us.
As always, if anything goes wrong I'm not responsible.
Make a full backup first (just to be safe)
1. Download Flashable Stock Kernel
2. Boot into recovery
3. Flash the kernel
4. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
5. Reboot

^This.
I can't make it as a flashable zip because I'm only on my phone. It's just so those who don't want to download the whole factory image can just get it through this.

Can someone test this flashable zip? Not sure if it'll work so do a backup first to be safe.

Flash it but my phone was stuck at the boot logo. Also running cold fusion ROM.
Sent from my Mako Nexus quattro using Tapatalk 2
cold fusion is CM based, that's probably why its not booting. I was on cold fusion and flashed matrix stock based by accident and same thing happened

CM has a modified ram disk, any kernel that flashes a boot.img at this point will probably bork things. If you want to flash a kernel on a CM or CM based ROM make sure it's an "any kernel" format.

It's out for the razr and RAZR HD/MAXX so it shouldn't be hard to port I just don't know how or I would ... Here's URL to Download page wiki.Ubuntu.com/Touch/Devices

Is it really official for the RAZR HD? If so then we should be able to just flash it on our phone without any modifications except a couple to the build.prop to get it to work with AT&T.

That's not completely correct it depends on how custom or what the base is,now if your stock based you can use stock kernel with say holoblur, but that's it.
Exactly what echo said still. Doesn't work on custom roms.. It'll work on modified stock.

You only start out with 12.6GB of usable storage in the first place. Once flashed you can remove CM zip. Use Clean Master to clean your tablet up. Sounds like you have the proper storage.

Power off and then power on and see if the keyboard posted up. If you have a custom recovery you can try to ADB sideload a Gapps zip in TWRP and that should bring up a keyboard for you.
