Hi all , I am saran from India ,
I joined this forum long back and have been studying things about android there , but this is my first post , Its a real honour to be a part of XDA ,
I would like to thank every genius who knows about android for sharing their knowledge here so that guys like me get to know something atleast , much delighted really ,
Now to my question ,
I have a HTC Wildfire , its my first android phone . But today I bought a new Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo . I bought it through a SE outlet in southern part of India . In EBay india they bring up a deal every day at 11 A.M . Today's deal was a SE Neo V for like 16000 INR, He called me and said they had the offer put in E-Bay and I was like WTF coz I bought this fone for 17500 INR ,
Wen I went through the description of the fone it had only 5 MP Camera but mine is 8 MP . Then I got a sign of relief . But again there was some feature like 3d Sweep panorama , but that is missing in my phone . I tried to find out wer it is like for the past 6 hours , but still no Luck ,
So out of hope I make this post here , Can anyone help me find it or my fone doesnt have it at all is it
Thanks ,
Saran
P.S. I don't know wer to post , If the mods or any admin panel gonna remove the post , please notify me through mail before doing it and please advice me wer to address my query .
I'd suggest asking your question in this forum, as it's specific to the Sony Xperia Neo device you're talking about. You'll be more likely to get a response that will help you there.

Thank you everyone in advance
This.
This is why I don't understand why everyone always wants software updates.
Even now, people are talking about wanting android l on their note 4
Guess what people, all updates bring is pain, and the wish to roll back, until next year when you buy a new phone, that was intended to be running the newer software... but even then, they want the update!
Then, the people who want updates are told to buy a nexus, because they are always first for updates. I bought the nexus 5 on day one, sure, I could run the Dev preview of android L if I wanted. .. but it's not complete, it's not the true version of Android L, and in all fairness, it's been almost a whole year now, and in all fairness, The only real appreciable update I will have had all year, is when I get android L on a nexus 6.
Even almighty apple can't do updates without having it break their older phones. Bottom line is, you want an update, you buy a new phone.
You are absolutely right with what you said .. i think the same way but before updating it they said it improves the battery life like 3 hrs ... it was a mistake anyway im on 4.2.2 again from the early morning till the moment im 47%...

Hello everyone,
i just bought the moto x 2014 on rueducommerce.com (299 euros, and as you may guess i'm french) earlier this week, it arrived yesterday. I have a question for you. Before this phone i had a xperia sp... Was great at the beginning... But every update i did (from 4.1.2 to 4.3) made the phone slower, even buggy. I never reached the comfort of the original jelly bean (4.1.2). Changed the phone 3 times with Orange, but all 3 devices had issues too.
My point is : i like kitkat, my phone is fast, i didn't download a lot of app and i'm not a fan of phone games. I'm afraid to lose the smoothness and fluidity of my phone as i read multiple times that lollipop was buggy. As you may understand, my experience with the sony left me traumatized with updates x)
I ask for your advice : is the 5.1 release worth updating Or maybe wait a little more, for android M?
Thanks for you replies

Personally, I wouldn't go back to KitKat and I loved it when I was running it. The 5.1 update is running really good for me now. Battery life is a lot better since the latest Google Play services update because that was destroying my battery life. Everything else is good. I say give it a shot.

Thanks for your answer. The battery is indeed weak, it doesn't bother me since I'm on holidays but it will be difficult in September. I downloaded deep battery saver but it doesn't change the battery life, or just a few

Hi guys i jst want to ask a simple thing Android nought is out and ota is also roling out and general mobile 4g which is Android one second gen get update too. I want to know that Android one first gen is getting update or not.....
As per as you have noticed that Android N is compatible with High End phone but google also did not mention first generation devices won't get the update and promised to deliver update for two years so we can hope that we will receive update.
Hi guys,
my mother still using her old Galaxy 3 mini, which is total crap
So i recently found my old Nexus 4 and changed the battery to a new one.
I would like to give the phone to my mother.
I need a rom for her, it shouldn't have to many stuff you can play with and at best easy OTA updates or a stable version with good battery lifetime.
What do you guys think? Ofc I need to explain her everything, but she can't see well anymore so I have to set the DPI higher probably.
Maybe You should stay in stock Lollipop 5.1.1 ?? Is it not better for Your mother?
Ditch the Nexus 4, get her a Jitterbug: https://www.greatcall.com/phones?gc...eA&gclsrc=ds&dclid=CMqxpPH3ktMCFVZGNwodIXUC_Q
