ROM similar to Moto X? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

First, I apologize if there is an obvious one out there, but the WebSense at work blocks images, so I couldn't see anything in the threads that I initially checked out.
My question is: are there any ROMs developed for our HTC Ones that are based on the Moto X? If not, which one would be the most similar? Preferably, this ROM would be on 4.4 as well.
Thanks!

You won't find anything with moto x features here, they would take up tons of battery without the special processor. The best AOSP-like ROMs would be http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2371960 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2647850

Thanks for the info. I had the Nocturnal one bookmarked to check out later, and the LiquidSmooth one was one that I looked at but couldn't see anything due to the WebSense filters. I'll have to look more into them both!

Moto X development

Just ordered my moto X on Verizon waiting anxiously to arrive. I'm upgrading from a rezound. I love flashing Roms and try all different custom Roms devs put for us to play with. My only concern is that I don't see a lot of development for the phone I mean Official development, such CM, slimbean, PAC, aokp, carbon and so on. This is a well known device, is there something on the code that is hard to develop Roms for it. I'll appreciate any feedback.

Locked bootloader on two major carriers+The phone is just about perfect with stock.
I gave up worrying about development and started just enjoying the phone for the awesome device it already is.
Thanks I have no doubt is a great stock running phone. Is just always nice running all those great custom Roms and all the extra staff they offer

only thing i wish i could do is block ads. i never really used root except for TiBackup and Ad Blockers. i used to pound my Windows Phone with ROMs and when the D1 came out it was eye opening. I never wanted to ROM again. then the D2 came. ugh. then the D3... double-ugh. now that i have the X, i'm happy to have a near-nexus device.
I'm reading all over the soak test is about 4.4 kit Kat on big red that's sounds promising and I think I just came in to the moto x party on time

There is no need for dev imo.
This phone runs great and the minor things can be fixed with xposed.
The only thing i kinda miss is halo but i can live without it or could use a third part app for it.

I have to agree with just about everyone else. I've always been a crack flasher. But I honestly feel this phone is almost PERFECT as is!
Also somewhat of a recovering crack flasher (coming from a GNex). At this point, I think Active Notifications and Touchless controls outweigh the urge to flash or even root. Even the Kit Kat itch is somewhat muted. Moto did an amazing job and all the people I've shown the features to seem to think so too.

[Q] Sprint - The lack of Moto X XDA Support - Why?

Since this is a Q&A thread, I'm a little curious as to why there is so little support for Sprint. By support I mean the amount of Roms that come out. They're all Ver/ATT/Other companies yet we see little Sprint roms. Am i not looking hard enough? Or is there another place where sprint Moto X Roms are being developed and supported? Or should i just make my own?

All the roms termed unified will work in all the variants .There are still many roms like PAc PA Cm LS .
Look around for anything US Cellular...You'll feel like you have a million friends here. LOL
Sprint has alot of support almost all the roms work with are phone but we a issue with data dropping randomly and we have to reboot to get it back.
but i dont think any DEV's have a sprint Moto X because there has been no talk of a fix.
i have tried just about every rom that is for all versions of the moto x and they all work great. but the data drop issue we need a fix for.
One of the roms i really really want for sprint it the Eclipse one, but im guessing the problem is that he doesn't have a sprint device to test out a build. There was another one i couldn't think of. Beyond the point though, The problem with most of those roms is that they don't have Active Display, and those that do, aren't that customized like other roms are.

Functions in UB

Hi people, well I've been looking for this answer but i haven't find any one.
When you Unlock the Bootloader of Moto X, Can it still work with the Stock ROM?
The Roms which are not based on Stock, for Example CM, or others, do they still keep the native functions from Moto X? I mean the "Ok, google now" for waking the phone, or that one which wakes the phone when you move.
And, What about the OTA in UB?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
iCerebro.

You should have no problem running stock Roms at all. Unfortunately for CM builds and such, Motorola native functions usually don't work. Hope that helps. Doesn't mean you can't go back and forth and try different Roms...that's the beauty of an unlocked boot loader, opens the Moto X to new worlds.

Thanks for the answer, I have had my other phone and Unlocked its bootloader, but in this phone I see there are a lot of problems for bricking and no posibilitis for unbricking, so I just want to have my phone rooted. But for now is impossible.
I'd suggest you read through all the sticky threads in general and q&a and learn how all this stuff works, before you do anything.
The more knowledge you possess, the less likely you'll have issues, minor or major.
All your questions were good ones....just very basic ones. I wouldn't jump into anything until you fully understand what you are about to do.
Good luck and enjoy!!

[Q] Republic Wireless rom converter

So I unlocked my RW moto x and tried flashing a custom rom and surprise surprise there isn't a rom that supports RW yet.
So I was wondering if it would be possible to make a sort of 'patch' for other roms in general that installs the apks need to run a phone on RW. I took a look at a stock RW rooted rom and tried to install a few apks myself, the main RW app installed but wouldn't activate the phone since everything else was missing.
I know there isn't going to be too much of a demand for this since there aren't that many RW users and unlocked ones at that, but it would be very helpful for the few of us there are.

Have you tried xposed and gravity box? You can get most customization options of custom ROMs....and keep the moto x features that you lose with aosp custom ROMs.

Yep yep, I know about xposed modules but from what I've seen of xposed modules they aren't as fast and seamless as a well polished rom like Cyanogenmod or Paranoid android. I also haven't seen all the features I want from a custom rom in xposed modules such as a the cm theme chooser.
Thanks for the suggestion though

You may find the custom aosp ROMs have some glitches for the x tho...... And again, you lose all the unique moto x features. All of them.
That's why there are very few roms for the x. It's not really a flashers phone.... that's for sure. And most seem to prefer stock. Usually with gravity box.
Not to mention the downgrade issues.
As much as I love the moto x... all of the above are why my wife has it now and I moved to the n5. I think the x is the better overall phone, but missed the busy development that comes with a nexus.
The X was so perfect, it bored me. Lol

I'm with you on that, I've been considering switching to the nexus 5 for a while now. the moto x has alot of good stuff but there are a few alternatives to active notifications (and for me personally I don't use active notifications that much anymore since I have a pebble), I rarely use touchless control because in my opinion it is still awkward to just start talking to your phone in public, moto assist can be replaced with anything that schedules when your phone should be silent on vibrate or normal, and besides that the only thing I would miss is the two twist camera launch function.
I mean it seems like it would be harder to do but if someone could modify the stock rom with features of other roms that would be great too. In fact that would be the perfect rom, but I don't see that happening.

[Q] What are great roms for original features?

I would like to know what the favorite roms are for original features. When I say original features, I mean features that aren't particularly prevalent on most roms. A lot of roms offer roughly the same feature set in regards to customization (and there's nothing wrong with that), but is there a particular rom that stands out to you that offers original features or optimization that you just can't find on other roms. I've always been a fan of paranoid android but they've been slightly MIA of late. My apologies if this thread already exists, I did a search beforehand to no avail. Just looking for opinions! Thanks!
You're asking conflicting questions. Slim ROMs are by far the most original, coming up with stuff specifically that other developers aren't but then their ideas are so good, they end up in most other ROMs anyway so yeah, where as slim are IMHO the most original, they're never different for long - and nor is any other ROM

Fair point! I suppose I wasn't wording that quite right. I guess I was asking more what you answered. Where do the ideas and features originate, and what roms are more than just Kangs? Thanks for your reply!
nexus 6 original development threads http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/orig-development
all other ROMs are just kangs, to various degrees(even these ROMs are partially kangs).
