Do you talk about i9000?
Flash stock JVU or JVZ firmware and PIT file with Odin and re-partition enabled.

[Q] Bootlooping.

I'm trying to port the aurora rom for desire, but it keeps bootlooping. Anyone with some experience can help me?
Logcat attached.
Are you using m2sd?
If you are, try moving cmdalvik to your sd-ext. that worked for me.
To do that use adb on your computer. enter adb shell while your phone is in the bootloop and then enter
Code:
m2sd cmdalvik enable
hope this helps.

ad2sdx is kinda bad cause big files like games dont work on that cause of the data i think ...double check tho bro
I think it uses a ext4 partition. Did you create partition correctly? Which recovery are you using? Advisable to use 4ext if you are not using that.
Guys, i'm not trying to install a rom. I'm trying to port a rom. So comments about partitions and stuff are useless to me.

They're not useless! Simply because if it bootloops you can potentially have bad partition layout... Anyway I can take a look at the logcat.
Mmm, seems like a kernel issue but I'm not really sure. I'm not a dev
Use the boot.img and the /system/lib/hw/ folder of another Sense 3.5 rom for Nexus One and copy to your rom.
Then try again...
EDIT: or while it's bootlooping, take out the battery, reinsert, go into recovery and flash only the kernel v8 by dbasabe, then reboot and see what happens.

Yeah, but my system partition is big enough, and my ext 4 is 1gb, so it seems that that is not the problem.

[Q] Stuck in TWRP with nowhere to go!

I tried advanced wiping the Dalvik cache, system, cache, Data, and Internal Storage thinking I was somehow going into a factory reset. Now I have no OS! Oh it gets worse! ADB Sideload isn't working either because when I try to push a .zip file the command prompt says 'failed to write data protocol fault (no status)'.
What should I do? Someone please help!

Okay so I've put the BadBoyz HK ROM onto the SD and flashed it, am I good to reboot? I'm so scared to take any steps at this point without proper advice.
You can also do
From recovery
adb push ROMname.zip /sdcard/

for future reference if this happens to you again adb side load should work as long as you have the correct drivers install and you are entering it in correctly. It should be
sudo adb push path_of_rom_zip /sdcard
example
sudo adb push /home/dean/Downloads/rom.zip /sdcard
Thats if you are using Linux, windows is the same format just use the correct windows path and with no sudo.
Also, you can use adb sideload to do this:
boot into twrp, click advanced, click adb sideload, select to wipe both caches then slide to start adb sideload. Plug in your phone to your computer and enter sudo adb sideload path_to_zip.zip. For example "adb sideload C:\users\yourprofile\Downloads\rom.zip"
That will work too, hope this helps in the future or for anyone else with the same prob.

[dev] [wip] More Data on lg optimus l90

so ive messed with this before and have hard bricked devices doing so but those devices diddnt have custom recovery but i was able to increase the data partition size by approximately 500MB (see screenshot below) im working on a recovery zip that wll do it and seeing wherelse i can pull stuff from lol. i plan to future update it so that the system is 1GB which is about all you really need and shrink partitiojnns that have more space then they ned down to like 5MB to keep the number scheme the same
Beta 1 zip is bad i am just goinmg to make a windows bat file that will do it lol
instructions.
if you want to keep your rom and data you will need and external sd card that is big nough to hold a backup of system and data.
okay i made a bat script that **SHOULD** work i havent been able to test one part of it so if youd like to test ill attach the zip to the bottom of the post
DISCLAIMER
i am not resposible if you brick your device doing this i can only confirm it will work on D415 if your onj a variant and want to know if itll work PM me the output put either from adb or a terminal emulator ls -l /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-num
now there are instructions on screen to follow so make sure you fread them or you could screw something uyp lol

Um no, I have Philz-Touch installed, Is there any way to turn this into a flashable zip? I don't want to loose my CWM format backups, so if I must switch to TWR then I might pass for now.

What about restoring original partition scheme? Is this possible via kdz tools (or what's called)? Is kdz reparitioning device?
Or it has to be done manually (then we have repart making it EXACTLY the same, every single byte?
@demonslayer12349, your script is a little strange.
Code:
@adb shell su -c "mount -o remopunt rw, /"
It should be:
Code:
@adb shell su -c "mount -o remount rw, /"
isn't it?
Then another thing. You delete 4 partitions and create only three.
For D410 partition 31 is "eksst". It is 0.5mb only. What is the reason to delete it?
Or the script is device-specific?

As I know LG software doesn't recreate partitions, so you have to do it manually.
