Hello everybody.
I've recently noticed this red "zebra like" stripes when i take photos with dark environments.
Any clue of what might that be?
Thank you all for this excellent Forum.

Well thank's for answering so quickly.
However i'm afraid it's a problem with no solution for me because i bought the phone second handed and i don't have any reciep or whatever, and i live in a countrie where there's not HTC official support (Argentina) . I'll give it a chance anyway.
Thank you all.

Hi, I'm from Venezuela and just sent my htc to service center in USA. Just talk with their live support team and give them your IMEI, they will tell you if you have warranty. You don't need the box, nor a receipt, just a valid warranty

Thanks for the replie.
I already talked to HTC tec support and my phone has a valid guarranty so i'm able to send my device to Colombia or the US for tec service.
It would by a fast solution but unfortunatelly due to my dear countrie's custom policy if i do this i would be taking the risk of having my device holded in custom for undefined time..
So i'm just have ti resign to keep it with this flaw ?

Yes, I know that feel. Lucky me, my phone died 2 weeks before travelling to usa, so I put the hotel address. If you later decide to send it, send it to usa. I talked to the colombian support and they wanted to charge me 100$ for shipping. Like really... colombia and venezuela are right next together.

Mine does this no-clock thing sometimes but it isn't that often so it doesn't really bother me.
Does the delay occur when you unlock the phone or do you mean the delay is for the "lock" icon to show after you take your phone out of your pocket?

But ¿why happens the no-clock thing?... Mine is never showed
The delay is for the lock/no-clock icon after I pick up my phone from the desk or I take it from my pocket.
Thanks in advance

I have the same exact problem. It's weird because it's totally at random when these will happen. Sometimes I'll just have a delay but it'll show the clock fine or it'll just show the lock icon but I'll have no delay when unlocking, or sometimes I'll have both happen to me. I tried wiping the data and reinstalling it before but it didn't help. Not a huge problem since I'm used to it but a fix would be great. Hopefully in a future update.
I think we should report bugs from the play store.. Same with me shows only lock but no time....
Sent from my XT1053 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Wow, im not alone.
You should report this... I changed the firmware 3 times and the bug remains, so i think its hardware.
The only thing that i didnt test its flashing a custom rom but im tired.
Im selling this phone to buy another (the same but new).

That's not what the play store is for. Please don't do this.
I am guessing you guys updated active notifications to the latest version? When I had that latest version, pulling the phone out of pocket and unlocking had a lengthy delay. After pulling the ring down there was a 1.5 sec delay to get to homescreen. Not sure if my issue is related to yours.
All I did to fix was RSDlite back to 4.4.2 and keep WIFI off to prevent automatic update. Disable automatic update in play store then enable wifi. No more delay issues for the last two days since I applied that fix.

I have the latest version of Active Display, Version 1.2.12 and I do not have any delays.
I have had the no clock thing happen once or twice, in a period of several months....it's so rare I don't worry about it.
At the end i sold the moto x, but now i have another new
No more problems! 0 delays and i have the clock allways!
Im still thinking that was a hardware problem but i don't know the cause.

A quick RSDlite back to stock can usually fix issues like that. Just batch backup all user apps with titanium or ultimate backup (no preference, takes 3 button presses either way), back up sms and ringtones (if you added any via zedge etc) reflash then restore everything. You can have her back up and running same way you had it in about 20 minutes.

Hey guys,
My Mi3w's screen recently shattered, and the touch stopped working too.
Should I repair the screen? What would the cost be?
Or should I try to sell it, and buy a new phone, maybe a Redmi 3? (not the Note 3)
Opinions?
I live in India btw
I guess screen would cost you around 4-5k just a guess.. So if I were you.. I will definitely go for redmi note 3..
Sent from my MI 3W using XDA-Developers mobile app
Agreed with @sidhg. that should be around 4-5K+tax
At ebay india 1500₹ only. Buy it.
If you really love your Mi3 and would want to continue using it then you should just buy a cheap screen from ebay which will cost around 1500 bucks. Thats what I did. Screen is ok but not the same quality as the original one. No Gorilla Glass.
If money is not a concern then you can give it to the service center and they'll replace it with original screen for >5000 bucks.
I you want to move on from Mi3 then the best choice is Redmi Note 3 right now. Cheap and best.
I am having Mi3 for 2 years now! And if I were you, I would have got the screen replaced! This phone never tires out! It goes on and on and on! Two years now, still it is one of the few phones having an official MiUi update that is based on Marshmallow! Two years now, this baby is holding on to any thing you through on it and holds on with ease!
This maybe my love for this phone talking but still I wouldn't give it away like that!
It's cost 500 Chinese yuan in official service in Shanghai.
if you are in delhi , go to gaffar market , get it replaced for 1800 Rs Max.
I made a mistake once for geting it replaced via SC.
Well the one im using from there , works as good as original.
Put a Good temper , try unbreakable ones post replacement.
Mi3 has one good part that is screen which is quite fragile

It's quite simple. According the information given by the company, they have sold many more devices than expected so now, they need at least a month to produce enough units to satisfy the needs of the market.

Google needed to implement it on their end. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 had to wait for 60fps to be enabled on YouTube too.

My apologies- I understand why I haven't gotten the phone itself yet. I've been on XDA for a while and understand the phone industry pretty well now. Apologies for sounding like such a noob. I was actually asking why the YouTube app didn't have 60fps by default for the OP3.

Thanks for the answer. I'm really surprised that 60fps isn't just automatically enabled on all phones that have a display that can refresh that quickly. Interesting.

I think they need to whitelist certain devices for it to work. I'm sure they don't want low end devices to attempt 1080p at 60fps.

First of all you are holding a store demo device so they can have all sorts of wear by the time it's been out as demo in store. So pressure problem can have occurred by a customer so. You cannot ask questions of problems from a store demo device since damages can be done by any customer like they can drop the device and much more.
I tried pressure thing on my note 9 and had no pressure problem at all. So I think mostly that since you are holding a store demo device it's probably been damaged by a customer that caused the pressure problem.

By picture you posted is from a demo device. So that does not mean your new phone will have problem at all. Try your own device first and then ask us questions, don't ask questions from demo devices since they are 90% chances of wear and damaged by customers.

This phone was locked by phone number: 619 629 and it cannot be unlcoked.

It should have been originally sealed box (it was obviously sealed by them after doing god knows what)..
Probably your phone got cloned IMEI

Yep, thank God I did!
I've already contacted the Gearbest, they are "solving" the issue. Funny thing is, that I've brought OnePlus 7 Pro, this year from them.. for mad cheep I think with a coupon it was around 550€.. 8gb/256gb variant.. It was said that it is an international version.. So I've played dumb.
I've contacted the OnePlus and told them that the phone was a bday gift, and I just want to know how much of warranty do I have for it.. They then said to me that the phone is Chinese version, and that originally it runs HydrogenOS.. What I've done is contact them, told them they f** me over, they then offered a 150€ back, witch I took.
Later on I've brought a Mi 9T for my friend (he had Redmi note 3 pro until that point) the phone came originally boxed.. And since I saw that there is a 81hz refresh mod for Mi 9T series.. I've said to myself ah well fu** it, I'll sell my OP7 Pro and get Mi 9T, unlock it, flash Pixel Experience or Paranoidandroid and later on OxygenOS + 81hz mod and basically have the same experience with probably better camera (I've had Poco last year and man that phone had some good photos with gcam) and be happy, I could live with worse vibration motor.. So I've gotten the Mi 9T Pro for 320€.. And now.. here we go again.
I know I could probably fix it with EDL, and I probably will... but why should I? It's their mistake, and they should refund me in some way.. And I'm not sending the phone back, as I've already brought and installed screen protectors and some cases, so that was what, around 30ish € more.. All in all the device is great and I love it, the screen, the size, cameras.. but man I miss so much notifications on MIUI and the autobrightens is really bad, but I knew this things before buying, So I've brought the phone with the intention to unlock it and install a custom software on it.
