Do yo use an magnet case ? As that can interfer with pressure sensitivity!

First of all you are holding a store demo device so they can have all sorts of wear by the time it's been out as demo in store. So pressure problem can have occurred by a customer so. You cannot ask questions of problems from a store demo device since damages can be done by any customer like they can drop the device and much more.
I tried pressure thing on my note 9 and had no pressure problem at all. So I think mostly that since you are holding a store demo device it's probably been damaged by a customer that caused the pressure problem.

By picture you posted is from a demo device. So that does not mean your new phone will have problem at all. Try your own device first and then ask us questions, don't ask questions from demo devices since they are 90% chances of wear and damaged by customers.

Because in the second pic you can tell it's attached to the security device at the bottom.
What's the world coming to, complaing about demo unit defects lol.
Turn the screen to a dim background color and take a picture. It might be the cheese grater screen issue that 4 people on this forum had issues with.

Today, I saw this under the touchscreen. It looks like some dust or air bubbles, which are under the touch area, situated directly above the Tegra 3 CPU so can it have something to do with the heat, which come from the cpu? The phone is 1 month old (bought 21/3/2013). I'm sending the phone to reclamation (and want new piece), but I'm afraid that this can happen again.
Have anyone same problem?

i have the same issue, but only one bubble, and it was there the day i bought it. i was too lazy to wait for a replacer, so i just stuck with mine, since it's only visible if you're really looking for it.

I don't think they would have noticed if I had been a bit more careful. They use Philips head screws and no "VOID" stickers.
I actually kinda scratched the glass on the inside

Wow thats sucks guys, if any has or is gonna send it in with an unlocked bootloader i wonder if they will fix it. If any of these manufacturers would honor their warranties for non-software related issues with unlocked bootloaders id stick with them regardless.
I have the same problem, I am do not have official support from LG in my country

However i'm afraid it's a problem with no solution for me because i bought the phone second handed and i don't have any reciep or whatever, and i live in a countrie where there's not HTC official support (Argentina) . I'll give it a chance anyway.

Hi, I'm from Venezuela and just sent my htc to service center in USA. Just talk with their live support team and give them your IMEI, they will tell you if you have warranty. You don't need the box, nor a receipt, just a valid warranty

Thanks for the replie.
I already talked to HTC tec support and my phone has a valid guarranty so i'm able to send my device to Colombia or the US for tec service.
It would by a fast solution but unfortunatelly due to my dear countrie's custom policy if i do this i would be taking the risk of having my device holded in custom for undefined time..
So i'm just have ti resign to keep it with this flaw ?

Yes, I know that feel. Lucky me, my phone died 2 weeks before travelling to usa, so I put the hotel address. If you later decide to send it, send it to usa. I talked to the colombian support and they wanted to charge me 100$ for shipping. Like really... colombia and venezuela are right next together.
Hey guys,
My Mi3w's screen recently shattered, and the touch stopped working too.
Should I repair the screen? What would the cost be?
Or should I try to sell it, and buy a new phone, maybe a Redmi 3? (not the Note 3)
Opinions?
I live in India btw
I guess screen would cost you around 4-5k just a guess.. So if I were you.. I will definitely go for redmi note 3..
Sent from my MI 3W using XDA-Developers mobile app
Agreed with @sidhg. that should be around 4-5K+tax
At ebay india 1500₹ only. Buy it.
If you really love your Mi3 and would want to continue using it then you should just buy a cheap screen from ebay which will cost around 1500 bucks. Thats what I did. Screen is ok but not the same quality as the original one. No Gorilla Glass.
If money is not a concern then you can give it to the service center and they'll replace it with original screen for >5000 bucks.
I you want to move on from Mi3 then the best choice is Redmi Note 3 right now. Cheap and best.
I am having Mi3 for 2 years now! And if I were you, I would have got the screen replaced! This phone never tires out! It goes on and on and on! Two years now, still it is one of the few phones having an official MiUi update that is based on Marshmallow! Two years now, this baby is holding on to any thing you through on it and holds on with ease!
This maybe my love for this phone talking but still I wouldn't give it away like that!
It's cost 500 Chinese yuan in official service in Shanghai.
if you are in delhi , go to gaffar market , get it replaced for 1800 Rs Max.
I made a mistake once for geting it replaced via SC.
Well the one im using from there , works as good as original.
Put a Good temper , try unbreakable ones post replacement.
Mi3 has one good part that is screen which is quite fragile

It's quite simple. According the information given by the company, they have sold many more devices than expected so now, they need at least a month to produce enough units to satisfy the needs of the market.

Google needed to implement it on their end. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 had to wait for 60fps to be enabled on YouTube too.

My apologies- I understand why I haven't gotten the phone itself yet. I've been on XDA for a while and understand the phone industry pretty well now. Apologies for sounding like such a noob. I was actually asking why the YouTube app didn't have 60fps by default for the OP3.

Thanks for the answer. I'm really surprised that 60fps isn't just automatically enabled on all phones that have a display that can refresh that quickly. Interesting.

I think they need to whitelist certain devices for it to work. I'm sure they don't want low end devices to attempt 1080p at 60fps.

It's not "defective" technically, I had the same issue with my s8+, and note 8, and have it on my note 9. And an update won't get rid of it.
Looks to me like light reflecting off the edges of the glass, as the light matches the nearest icon color. I've seen this on LG phones. I'd either get a replacement or put a case that blocks the reflection.
Hahaha [emoji23]? sorry couldn't help it , the light bleed strikes back.i was waiting for this
