Er... it's a shiny hi-res screen.... Is this your first tablet? I think you'll have to live with it. Or are you that ugly?
You can of course install an anti-glare screen protector but it will wreck the touch responsiveness of the screen.

No, it won't. You lose a bit of sharpness and contrast, that's all.

We'll have to agree to disagree based on my experience - I have tried screen protectors from various companies on my TF201 and TF700 and in every case I either lost touch responsiveness or it made it jumpy. Angrydinosaur was having touch issues on the TF701 and guess what he removed his screen protector and it solved it. Just saying - I think they do more harm than good.
Maybe there is a good brand out there?

Well, neither my TF201 nor the new TF701 suffer from the screen protector in terms of touchscreen sensitivity and accurracy. On the TF201 I had a screen protector from Mumbi, on the TF701 I have this:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00FN3A4I2/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You should be able to find it on Amazon.com too.
I just tested it to be sure: Even the slightest touches get recognized and there is no wiggeling or any other touch issue when using the Tablet.

I have the same problem. Three workarounds:
Use apps with a light or white background
Hold it about 18 inches away and focus your eyes on the screen. The reflection is harder to see
Tilt it about 10 degrees back.

Hey guys,
I just installed the screen protector that came with the wrapsol skin (wet application) and I was just wondering if any of y'all ever experienced an even more unresponsive return button. I know that that button is already finnicky when pressed but now it seems like it won't respond at all half the time. Havr y'all experienced this? Do you guys think it'll go away as the liquid under the protector evaporates? Thanks.

I have, with Nexus and Vibrant. While the sensitivity will b slightly diminished it should not stop 50% of the time. Exchange it imo

Exchange again. A trick I learned is to not do an out-right exchange. Instead, buy a new one, compare it to the old one, and return the one you don't like. Not only does this extend you 14-day return period (assuming you keep the new one) but it also allows you to determine which one is "better".
Is it just me or does the screen response suck? I have the t-mobile no fingerprint screen protector. Is this the culprit?
I have the wifi only version with no screen protector. I notice that when it is plugged in and charging the responsiveness is off. Still useable, but for games that need quick responses it's no good. The second I unplug it though I have no problems.
Thanks. Might've been that because I was charging it while using it. Lol. Maybe it's only when I'm charging? I'll pay more attention next time.
I also noticed the same problem. Sometimes the screen is not that responsive
Thanks rattlehead. So far when I'm using it without it charging, screen responsiveness is perfect.
Not having issues with my screen except that it seems too sensitive to select things. I wish there was an adjustment or calibrator. I would like to make it just a little more difficult to select items.
mine is horrible. i feel like mine is certain sections of the screen. but on and off. not consistently bad. i have a phantom skinz cover on mine. i have tried others and they do not have the same issue. Maybe some bad screens that went out?

Depends. I go naked, but my wife uses one for her Galaxy Tab 7 (also Gorilla Glass); actually, she uses an Otterbox. She managed to mess up the GG on her OG Droid, so no taking chances!

FYI, Anyone that is considering purchasing the Invisible Shield for their Nexus 7, I just received mine in the mail today and when applied it would not allow the touch screen to operate. I was unable to unlock to access anything, once I peeled away the Invisible Shield everything was fine. Tried to reapply a second time with the same results, just wanted to give all a heads up.

Had the same problem after I installed my Skinomi screen protector tonight, but after 2 hours everything is fonctionning again.
You have to wait with all screen protectors that are applied with application fluid....
I learned early on that the extra money you pay for Zagg to install the invisibleshield for you is very worth it.
I had absolutely no problem with mine.

The front looks perfectly fine. You can't even really tell there is something there. The back is subjective. I didn't like it at first but it has grown on me. But no one forces you to have the back anyway.

This is why I never install it myself and just pay the guy at the mall to do it. I've never had a problem.
Bought one and had to remove it. It completely distracted from the quality of the screen.

I just put my Zagg on my N7 as well and the screen is no longer responsive. It takes many attempts to get something to even work.
I removed it and all the functionality returned.
I dont know if letting it dry will do anything but i will try. If it doesnt work im ripping this sucker off and returning it to zagg.
I have never had an issue with a zagg product... This is my first time...

I don't have a single problem with my invisibleshield on my Nexus 7, including the one you mentioned above.
So one of the following must be true:
You have a defective Nexus 7 with under-sensitive touchscreen.
Your InvisibleShield is defective (somehow)
Your installed your InvisibleShield wrong.
I received a Nexus 7 with "extra-sensitive" touchscreen (if something like this exists!)
Does anyone's protector seem a hair too big? A bit of it is going over the bezel. Will this thing shrink?

youre meant to let it dry...
capacitive screens work by reading the changes in the electrostatic field directly above the screen as you slide your fingers across it. using applicator fluid and the screen protector will restrict the range of the electrostatic field to underneath the screen protector until the screen protector dries. plus, you're putting water on an electronic device... generally not recommended to turn it on until the water's completely gone. it shouldve mentioned this in the installation instructions...
Anyone ever notice the glass looks like it's permeable on these touch devices? Lots of little holes.
But yes, water cuts the conductivity and will do so until completely dry, at least that is the result on this device.
Same results with most wet install screen protectors, it's not any particular brand being the problem... If you read the xoskins, skinomi and xtremeguard threads, people have the same exact "complaint"..
Let it dry man!
YMMV

You have to wait! Letting it dry is the key. Do you think a major company like Zagg would put out a product that ruins devices like that?

Risk over heating an LCD, I wouldn't.
Besides trying to expedite drying time may cause trapped air bubbles that will take twice as long if ever to stick and will leave a ripple on the protector. YMMV

Totally unnecessary IMO. Screen protectors caused digitizer performance issues on the tf700.
I too am interested to see if the screen protector from tf700 will fit the tf701t
I'm just wondering if any screen protector could make our screens more matt-like.
TF701 screen is way too reflective, IMO. While browsing/gaming/facebooking is OK, movie watching is a pain under direct office's white lamps light. Have to use full brightness, vivid mode, outdoor mode alltogether. Still I can see myself in the reflection of the screen during dark scenes.
MX Player, VLC, BS Player, Stock player - no big difference. Reflective...

Tf701 has maybe 60% of the max screen brightness of the brightness the tf700 has so that wasn't an improvement.

Turn the lights off? I'm sure your boss won't mind.
Seriously though I tried a matt protector on my infinity and took it off after a week. 2 reasons; it made the touch screen glitchy and I hated the cloudy look.

Don't envy me too much, I still can't fully enjoy movies
To be honest - I manage to spare some time to watch an episode or two of a series only during my night shifts, when everything is slower and quieter around. You don't want to be in my place during day shift, believe me

there's some new software out, called Google Search; you should become familiar with it..
https://www.google.com/search?q=lg+...la:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=sb
Maybe he will was looking for some input and referral to one someone was already using?
Mirrored screens tens to reduce the light transmission quite a bit. I've been searching for just regular screen protectors and haven't found one. I sure wish EXiM made an SPUC for this bad boy. This is such an amazing phone. I understand the cost is higher, but I just don't know why this phone isn't more popular. I'll have a very hard time going back to a standard screen phone.
Bodyguardz makes an anti reflective SP that makes it harder to see from a an angle, check that out or Amazon for ratings on true mirrored ones, but be prepared to turn your brightness way up at the loss of battery life.
