any one can help me? i serach for stability and features and sorry for my bad english
Novafusion's KK variant rom and Gulden-guy's rom are the only KK rom available for our device. Most of them are under develompment by their own developers, so it's understand-able some problem may appear and the fitures isn't completed. Stay on stock based rom may the best choice for you and your needs but I and many other user here feels that all KK roms here is "fully-working" enough.

You can check in rom's official website or blog, there's should be an announcement for rom's development stage or you can review their source code.

I meant official website or blog for each roms, not novafusion. Anyway, I just installed sensor kinetics app and all 7 sensors works fine (latest novafusion's CM11).
As I said, all ported KK roms here are under heavy development, needs time to get it complete, so you may found some inconviniance.
Sent from my GT-I8190 using Tapatalk
I also find the KK roms to be too unstable.
Maclaw has done some great work, but recently the nightlies have become increasingly buggy. I recommend using the 0225 build of CM10.2. It's only 4.3, but it's still much better than Touchwiz on 4.1 and it's very stable.
You can find it here: get.novafusion.pl/?id=732
Maclaw has also recently made the archive of all previous builds available for download. You can look around the forums to see which builds people recommend using.
The archive can be accessed here: get.novafusion.pl/archive
I know it sucks having to go through trial and error to find a suitable rom. But remember, these people do what they do for free. I've used official CM on a regular Galaxy S3 and I can promise you (even though it might not seem like it) that Maclaw's CM builds are top notch compared to many other custom roms out there.

Even i tried cm9 RC1, then shifted to cm9 stable and now there's this version available- cm9.1.0 stable.
However i couldn't find any post differentiating between cm9 and cm9.1 except that cm9.1 supports nfc. But since sgt7 doesn't support nfc, is it really worth shifting to cm9.1 ??
Please highlight the changes in cm9.1 .

He has a point, try to paraphrase from 'best' to 'favourite', respect the developers. Well my friend, I prefer a more stable build which also promotes fluidity in gaming performances (I play lots of gameloft games and fpse emulated games). So I used Overcome 4.1 rom, although it is just gingerbread, but I am able to overclock both the cpu and gpu using antutu app.

I am using MIUI V4 and its quite good. It has some bugs, but works fine. Try it out.
There is no "Best" ROM, try them all, and make you own mind up.
Had you searched you'd of found that every "Best" ROM type thread gets locked. Try Searching next time, you'd get you answer quicker.

This is not a constructive post. Comparing ROM's and the dev's is not a good thing.
Not only is it not a good thing but it is prohibited here in XDA to compare roms. The mods will definitely close this thread soon.
To the OP, you should read the thread of the rom and search in general section there are already lots of threads like this. And all was shut down by forum mods but you can still read the reviews/comments.
My advice: Read, read and read. Even if you think you have read enough, just keep reading.

I think this thread can help s advance users in a way..
Everybody has there views. People use what works best, if this thread gives a little knowledge in that means. Then that's good.
Comparing ROMS n DEV's is totally diff thing. Few devs of not so popular ROM n modify to request immediately, n devs of best ROM r hidden God. So I feel it's not the point here. It can b a little helpful thread n that's what this forum is bout, increasing knowledge, atleast I feel so.
Rest moderators knows the best..

Sorry if anybody hurt,
Sorry if anybody hurt because of this post. I have tested all this 15 roms. I am not hardcore android develper, i am basically wed deveopler but i wanted to try every available rom for my device and wanted to stay in touch with this new development. I am tracking nearly all in I9070 section for long time and keep testing everything. I bricked my phone more than 10 times but i learned a lot. But i know many testers visit this site , try 1 or 2 popular roms and when this roms not works upto there expectation or keep crashing they stop testing and return to stock . I just wanted to give those many persons like me this available options and want there reviews on this different roms. I have given links to all roms so they can download them. Many ROMs are very good but not popular or neglected. So please post your reviews only after testing them.
There is no point of comparing devs or ROMs. People use what is best. Xperia z ultra is far superior dan GS4. But that doesn't mean that GS4 is bad. This is just a kind of review. I am very satisfied with Light JB 1.2 except few minor bugs.

Dear Sir,
I never wanted to criticize any rom , i just wanted to help other visitors and testers to find available roms and i want them to test this roms . All roms listed above are very nice but some of them are vastly neglected , i thought this post might help those roms to become popular and which might lead us to perfect rom for our beloved galaxy S-advanced. Many developers stopped there development and or concentrating other project just because there rom is not popular. I never thought this will hurt others . Putting that poll along with this post is my biggest mistake

CM rule: No ETA's. With that being said, current nightly of cm10.1 is good and can be used as daily driver if you don't mind:
1. Wifi tether and wifi direct not working.
2. Blurry image and video hangs on latest youtube (the app fault not the rom, you have to use older version of youtube and it works fine).
3. Camera bug in instagram (but just take the pic first and later edit in instagram and post. I always do that anyway so it doesn't matter at all).
4. Battery issue (can't charge offline).
5. GPS (you hve to calibrate it first then it works just fine).
Choice is yours. :good:
I tried it once...was too laggy and the antutu score came down to 4500 from 7000.I'm now using stock with cocore 7.6 antutu score has gone upto 9200.which one do u suggest? Custom rom or keep using stock?

Hey Friend If You Are Looking For Stable ROM you should Stick To Custom ROM,
For Our Galaxy S Advanced There Is No Official Custom ROM, All ROMS come with Some Bugs.
If You Want New Feature In Your Device You Have To Compromise With Stability.
Some Stock Firmware Based ROM are More Stable Like Galexperia But Don't Come With Much Extra Feature.
CM10.0 Is Now Very Much Developed and stable.
Diegio working hard on CM10.1 and I M Sure He Will Release Final Version Very Soon. Untill now 21/06 is more stable than others according to me.
Thanks bro

I want to update my S3 Mini from stock rom to cyanogen mod.
I need a STABLE, not so power hungry release.
Main use is phone, navigation, photo and internet.
Which version, 10.2 or 11, and which release should I use?
I follow the releases of the macaw studio and there comments for a while. Bu I can’t judge how mature the releases are and what potential Issues from
e.g.. “switching from STE blobs to sources [part #2]” and “[testing] huge microphone quality improvements” arise.
Which version should I use and should it a stable release?
Both versions are stable for daily use. You should both try them out and see for yourself which one is the best.

Mainly KitKat, because it's much faster than Jelly Bean. CM 11 is still under development, but it's already way better since Milestone 2. There may be our come some bugs, but they will be fixed in the near future.
The only issues I've encountered so far are clock freezes and random reboots, but those are mostly fixed.

Well , the most stable KK and JB rom's are cyanogenmod and omnirom.
When speaking of JB rom's I personally recommend cm10.1 for stability and overall performance.
When talking about KK rom's ..the most stable and probably the only ones are omnirom 4.4.2 and cyanogenmod 11. I can't say which is best because I've only tried cm11 but I've seen a lot of posts saying that omnirom is pretty good aswell. The best way to figure out which one works better for what you want is to try them , even though fast can't really be an attribute for our phones running android 4+. Good luck !

Unless I'm mistaken...
1) Put APK physical on phone
2) Enable "Unknown sources" in Security settings to install APK's from phone
3) use a/the file browser and point to your APK, chose to install it
4) To go Apps in settings, find your installed app and open it
5) Tick on Enable Privacy Guard
Something like this?
** EDIT **
If it's a privacy setting in your MMS.apk -- most likely, since the CM's Privacy will render MMS.apk useless as it won't give access to personal data -- go check that in your app.
We are move from MIUI and try another ROM and my choice is CM 12.1 that already official support or AOSPA (Paranoid Android) that also got Official/Legacy version and already on Stable version.
My Question is which one better for daily use? I currently use CM 12.1 Nightly version. And the problem I got is Google Camera Panorama and Photosphere didn't work. Also HDR Mode is Fail...
Does AOSPA much better handle on it? And does AOSPA ROOT enabled by default or we need to install another App? As far I know, CM 12.1 we can enable ROOT with simple step.
Thanks and we need your feedback...

@jauhari
AOSPA requires SuperSU to be flashed, as the newer versions do not come preinstalled. Camera is no different than on CM 12.1.
Both are pretty much the same, although I recommend CM because some if not most of the PA updates cause a bootloop, and the OP from there says he will cease to work on it.
Try Ressurection Remix build 16

I have used the latest Paranoid Android ROM (31st August build I think). Rock Solid, almost boringly so. My first choice ROM is EOS Revival, also AOSP based. The latest build is well worth trying.
Both use the CM theme engine, I dislike messing with layers...
I am yet to try the "official CM12.1" which is getting a lot of attention, but I have used AICP's which is based on CM12.1 - generally good though the quality varies from build to build (eg, occasional reboots, that sort of thing). Other CM12.1 ROMs I have tried briefly had random issues too between builds, so it could be due to CM12.1 itself
But as ever, the only real answer to such a question is "Nandroid current ROM, flash & set up new ROM run for a day"
