Good to see these roms moving so quickly. I had an issue with other AOKP/AOSP roms where I would lose WiFi and never get it back. Is that still an issue? Thanks
try man execute backup full before
Nice to see you again !

I think enabling IME animation seems to break the keyboard from working. Anyone had a similar experience?

Well once my keyboard would not open after I changed my recents to slim style. I cannot seem to duplicate it though.
Sent from my One M8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Only issue I have found is that everything is so big that it cuts off from the screen. Can't even apply a wallpaper lol. Other than that, every thing else is working fine.

Does this have double tap to wake? I'm not seeing it anywhere. Thanks
Again??

Well I didn't change to slim recents and my keyboard still wouldn't come back.
Edits: I also found cpu frequencies seem to be stuck on the two top plus deep sleep and that's it.

I had this issue at first but I selected "Set on Boot" and set my frequencies, when I rebooted they stuck and I haven't had that issue since.

Great Rom .. couple of bugs to report !
I love this rom its really one of the best AOSP available now. everything seems to be working great except for couple of bugs thats annoying me.
First: landscape fullscreen media seem to break the screen into two halves making the navbar appear in the middle and its unwatchable.
Second: VoIP apps (like viber and skype ... these are the ones i have and use anyway) work fine on loud speaker or headphones they dont work normally though the person on the other end hear me but i dont seem to be able to.
Third: loud speaker in regular calls mutes my mic so the person on the other end cant hear me
Forth: speakers cracking which have been reported on all other AOSP roms i think.
I am not picking on your work or trying to be mean ... its truly a great rom and stable and feature rich that it can be easily used as a daily driver.
I am just trying to contribute to this great work with what i can for the dev to have a better grasp of what to work on in the upcoming updates.
Thanks a lot for the hard work

I cannot figure out how to change my pie icons to the regular color. I have some custom apps in the 2nd level and my entire pie menu shows up in black and white.
Any ideas?
Go to settings -c-control - pie -button-buttons control
There you can select all colors you want ?

Is there anyway to include Hybrid Settings for PA? I notice it looks better than AOKP Dual Panel
+1 for using devhost. Are you by any chance using SaberMod kernel? It might fit in well with those linaro optimizations.

Very nice rom gongrats to the devs... I have just installed and been running it for a day now. I noticed two glinches
A) when someone calls at lockscreen the circle phone unlocker is a little bit to the right
B) at dial pad when you try to dial the vibration starts randomly and stops after 2 secs
Thats all until now but everything else are flowless.
Ps. Forgot that i'm using trinity kernel.

I was looking for a reason to go back to Sense, but I couldn't find one. GPS locks almost instantly. MMS works great. Phone works in speaker and normal mode. Had the slight crackle in speakers when playing music but a little DSP magic and I can't tell the difference between my setting and Beats.
The only thing that would draw me back is blink feed but tbh I don't use it as much unless I'm bored. I can always use flip board for news feeds unless someone has a better suggestion.

ZOE is exclusive to Sense. Haven't taken any actual pics being that there is a thunderstorm out so I can't really test it. From what I can tell, there are plenty of options including a burst mode. Rear and front camera works. The image looks wide and full so it is utilizing the pixels as they were intended.

So asfar as installation goes, I have TWRP. I know to wipe cache, dalvik, factory reset but a little confused on Formatting data. If I do that, won't it delete everything including internal storage? I see under Advanced Wipe, there is an option to wipe system. Is this the same as Formatting data? Sorry for the newbness, this is my first phone without a sd card slot. I'm used to "formatting data" while having the external storage to keep the Rom on.

Do Wipe-Advanced wipe-select first 4 (all except usb-otg). That is it. :good:
If you do the wipe data, it wipes internal storage.

Notes about this release
First, I must say I didn't build this ROM, the official builds are being built by @dhacker29
Bugs list
* A2DP (phone reboots) UPDATE: Seems to be working after nandroid restore over latest dhacker's CM build (yay!)
* Headset button (doesn't work as expected)
* Screen off after first call after power on (solved pressing power button twice)
HDR option was removed from the camera, I hope when it's working will be put back on.
Finally someone puts up the thread. I've been running 2.8 for almost a month now. Runs great!

I cant compare to stock but i can tell you it lasted me an entire day 8am to 10pm with screen on for 2 hours if you know how to mess around with the govs and schedulers. I also turned off data during those hours i knew i couldn't use my phone i.e my four hour shifts. Works well enough to get you through the day if you ask me.

You can't expect stock battery life. I would say it's about 10-15% less.

Only issue I'm having so far is that I'm don't seem to be getting 4G. 3G is working, though.

Going to CDMA+LTE/EvDo kills my 3G.
The only setting I get data on is CMDA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA.
Couple other things I noticed. The phone doesn't show up on my PC when I plug it in via USB.
Corporate calendar doesn't seem to sync either. Contactscome up fine, though.
You might have to go to storage and turn on USB connection.

Amazing as usual! Thanks
Any thoughts on how to access the APN settings, they appear to be greyed out on this build.

This is the smoothest 4.4 ROM I've used so far on the M. Thank you so much for all the effort and time to all the devs who help us not loose our mind stuck with an "older" device and spend money we don't have to upgrade. I'm having an issue though with my root access as in i have none lol any idea's on how i can fix this?

Did you turn it on in dev settings? Slim has default to off. go into about tap build version six times--go into developer settings---set on for apps and adb
So because this is an unofficial build it can't do the ota update from the slim ROM servers?

Precisely
Been getting random reboots during music playback. Happens with PowerAmp, N7Player, and Pandora (all that I've tested). No set time interval - I've had it reset multiple times in 10 minutes as well as run perfectly for 30-40 minutes. This was also an issue with the last ROM I used (Validus13), though that one reset outside of playback as well. Slimkat only seems to reset during playback. Anyone else had/found a solution to this issue?

Haven't noticed any reboots while docked on SlimKat. All reboots have been on battery power. V13 rebooted while docked and on battery.
Can anyone get the My Verizon app to work? It keeps telling me to update in play store but nothing is there to download. I have tried multiple apk's and I still get the update message
