Magpul (like) case for G2? - G2 Accessories

Anyone familiar with the Magpul cases... used mostly for iphone products? A couple friends have them and I really like them.
http://store.magpul.com/category/125
I'm wondering if there's a similar case for the G2. Something semi-ridged, but similarly thin as your basic silicone skin.

Not going to find anything of similar quality. The one thing I miss about my iPhone was my executive field case.

Nexus 7 leather snap on case

I've had my nexus 7 for around 3-4 months, never really used it much but now I'm getting hooked to it. Ive got a standard folio type case for it but dont really like it as the flap constantly gets in the way.
Has anyone seen a snap on type of case that is leather. An example of what I mean is something like whats attached but for nexus 7 of course. I cant seem to find one but maybe on of you guys could help me? Thanks
All my phones and tablet/phablet have these leather case :

They have magnet to switch off screen
Very good quality...
Here a video and presentation

Noreve is indeed the best. I have Noreve cases for all my devices and would never look back.
Yes but I didn't want a case with a flap as I've already got one, I just wanted a case that would snap on the back but was leather
To be honest....the back of the n7 already has that leathery/rubbery premium feel about it. That's why I haven't seen one around yet cuz it's kinda pointless to protect the back of the n7.
I reckon ebay/amazon but i'm sure you would've checked there anyways
I got a plastic back only snap on case for my HTC Evo View 4G and when I moved to the Nexus 7 I got one for it. I agree with the OP and like the extra protection without the bother and bulk of a more traditional case. I.I too would prefer leather or even naugahide but unfortunately I could only find textured plastic ones. They aren't shiny nor plastic-y with the sand like finish. Bought on eBay. If you want but can't find it I can try to get a valid url.

I still these things at a pretty high volume, for retail, but I can't get a single custom case for it. I carry it in a small, but oversized, Case Mate, Netbook case. Of course, Amazon has a ton of cheap cases- but, cases are one of those items I try before I buy.

Did you take a look at the poetic slimline? here

One more new case for LG G2, Slimmest case out there, almost no lip, rubbery coating.

I am a case hater(screen protectors too). I never had a case on any of my 50+ smartphones for the past 4 years. Every case I buy will have something that turns me off or disappoints me. After several days of use. I take it off and never put it on. It is clearly waste of money and no protection at all for the phone. Recently I cracked 2 of my phones(Note2 and G2). And decided that I will have a case. I got quick window which is ok but adds some bulk and not comfortable to use.(flip part gets in a way)
For the past several years 1 case got my attention. Ringke slim for iphone 5. http://www.amazon.com/Release-Premi...ie=UTF8&qid=1385245025&sr=1-1&keywords=ringke it was for my wife's iPhone5. (i am an iphone hater too ) it is the slimmest and most comfortable case I have ever used on any phone.(dont bring out your pitch forks and torches, it is my personal opinion)
Now that company started making cases for LG G2. http://www.amazon.com/RINGKE-PERFEC...UTF8&qid=1385245039&sr=1-1&keywords=ringke+g2
I just ordered mine and will wait to see how the quality and the comfort is.
I wanted to ask if anyone has used this case for G2 and how is the experience?
I hope somebody will benefit from this post.
Looks like that particular one only works the international variant.
I wonder how much protection it actually provides in a fall. Looks pretty sweet, though.
I had one for my g-nex and I loved it. It is very slim. It stinks they don't have a version for the Verizon g2 or I would get one.

Actually that info is wrong, they say its for the international but its actually for the 8.9mm phone which is T-Mobile/Sprint

Yeah I had case from Ringke for my Galaxy Nexus too...So I email Ringke...and they told me right now they have no interest on making a Verizon Variant for the G2 case...Sad.
Ah that sucks I would have really liked one for my g2. I remember with the g-nex enough people emailed them for a extended battery version and they actually made one. I guess that was a little different though. G-nex was a much bigger community though.

Yeah...If Verizon just kept the original model then it would been better. More choices for accessories..
I had a Ringke Slim on my Galaxy Nexus. Loved the slim profile BUT the plastic is cheap, on my GNex model, it started getting hairline cracks on all 4 corners. This was common. Ringke shipped out replacements but the replacements did the same thing.
Since them I moved on to CaseMate Barely There and the Incipio Feather.
Out of the CaseMate and Incipio, I found the Incipio to have the overall high quality award with it's super slim profile, nice soft matte feel, and super high durable plastic that is solid all the way though (not painted like Ringke).
I put an Incipio on my womans iPhone 4 and fell in love with it. Since then I've ordered me one for my old Galaxy Nexus and have a new one on my G2.
Thats my personally recommendation of all time favorite slim cases, and I've probably been there and tried them all.
Thanks for the recommendation. I will have to try one out!

I got the Poetic Palette case. It just like the Incipio Feather but I got it cause of the 3yr warranty and it cost less. Nice rubber-like feel to the back. People that see the phone think the case is the official back of the phone and love it.

Better reviews than what the OP posted, if anyone wanted something to compare to.
Poetics 3yr warranty is freaking awesome but I've found their cases on the cheap side. The good side is you just email them and they send you a new one.
I haven't tried the poetic palette. Looks good. Hopefully its isn't painted like most.

The Poetic Palette case seems pretty hard for a slim case. It feels just a few mm thinner then a credit card but really hard. Not that it bothers me, but the case is hard to take off once you get it off. You have to take one corner off first, then the rest; I like that. Makes me feel that a fall won't just make the case come right off. Oh and it has that low profile when face down that you can barely see the glass isn't resting on the surface. Also gives you just enough clearance that the camera lens and power button aren't touching the surface too. Over all just happy with it so far

The palette case is either the soft touch feel (which i personally hate) or the "quiksand" texture. I would recommend the sand one personally.

I want the Feather for my Sprint variant but all they "officially" have is the Feather Shine, which is too slippery for me. I see that they make a Feather for AT&T and Verizon. I'm assuming that I can't use the VZ, but can I buy the AT&T version for my phone.
By the way, +1 on the Ringke cheap plastic. I had the exact same case for my Gnex and while I liked it, I got the four corners cracking too.
Yea you CAN'T use the Verizon one because the Verizon one has smaller buttons. I can CONFIRM that my Verizon one, the button cut out is curved for the smaller buttons.
You CAN use the one for the AT&T version or other. I'd probably just pick them on from Amazon. All the G2's are exactly the same with the exception of the Verizon buttons. Verizon really screwed up changing those. I not only like the look of the standard buttons better but I also think it would be easier to use. Different topic though.

So I ordered the Feather AT&T version for my Sprint version and it's not a great fit. It's loose in there. I have the Feather Shine made for Sprint and it's a snug fit. The Feather is a bit wobbly. So, the search continues.....

Just put a piece of cardstock or thin cardboard... or does it wobble side to side?

Arm band for those of us who like to keep active.

http://www.supcase.com/lg-g4-sport-fit-armband-case-combo.html
I've never used a sport armband, but did consider getting one for my G3, though I was unable to find one that seemed like it would be worth buying. This one appears to be a quality armband for the G4, though, from Supcase. I was a fan of their Unicorn Beetle case on the Nexus 5 and would consider getting it for the G4 if I didn't have the leather back (I did email them, though, to see if they'd consider making a true, backless bumper case).
SPIbelt
I don't know about armbands, I've never used one. I use a SPIbelt and really like it. Right now the 2014 models are 25% off.
Do these stay on well when weight lifting? I'm thinking the arm is changing size a lot when doing upper body stuff.
I've no idea how well these work, but obviously some people like them. I recently purchased a flip belt, though.

[Q] Need a case for LG G2 (D802) (silicone, rubber, etc)

Hi, can anyone recommend me a case for the international G2. I really like the new iphone 6 silicone case: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MGQF2ZM/A/iphone-6-silicone-case-black . Is there anything like that for the G2? Incipio Feather Case seems to be something like that, but its only for the Verizon model Is there anything else similar? I dont want something really rugged, but I do want to to stand small drops (so ultra slim plastic cases are out of question). Plus Id like it to be made of rubber or silicone or something that is not slippery. Hope someone can help out Thanks!
What do you guys think about the "Cruzerlite Bugdroid" case VS "Incipio DualPro".
Mainly in terms of slimness (is it a word?) and drop protection. Obviously you cant have something slim and have decent drop protection. But what would be the best compromise between these two?
Oh and how would the "Slim Armor" compare against these aforementioned two cases?
In my opinion spigen slim armor is better.. The first one made no real protection, the other is a spygen clone.

I got a CellJoy two-peice case from Amazon and am really happy. Other than the fact that the stand doesn't work too well, is a great case.

I can't find anywhere to buy a diztronic or poetic or incipio feather cases. Our g2 is just old now.. Are there any good other cases that you can recommend?

I am using This case
As far as I can tell you,I am positive it is a Spiegen Slim Armor copy.
However,it feels good in the hand, and you can still beat the crap out of somebody with your phone in it. xD
I am using a nekeda white/black case which is rubbery but textured. Really like it but I also saw those silicone iphone cases...please update if you find something like that

Is there a case similar to the Apple Silicone Case?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxa1NSpnNcA
I'm looking for a silicone case that is similar to the one Apple makes. They are more substantial and have a soft microfiber like interior.
Anyone seens ones like this around?
If you find it I would like to buy too!
I am also interested
Yeah these cases look good, but I don't think there's one for the s7 edge. Hopefully I'm wrong, would definitely buy something like this.
