HELP: 40% battery after 16 hours of charging

Hi,
I've a big problem with my htc diamond and its 900 mAh original battery. After 9 months of middle-high usage I can't charge my battery more than 40%. Charging is very very slow (40% after 16 hours of charging)
A couple of weeks ago everything was ok.
Is my battery broken?
Is it an HTC problem?
Is there something i could do?

ho un grosso problema con il mio HTC diamond e la sua batteria originale da 900mAh. Dopo 9 mesi di utilizzo medio-alto non posso più caricare la batteria oltre il 40%. La ricarica è lentissima (raggiunge il 40% dopo 16 ore)
Un paio di settimane fa sembrava che tutto andarre bene.
E' da sostituire la batteria?
E' un problema del telefono?
Posso fare qualcosa?

i wouldnt say that..i have dimoand for a year and i dont have this problem...dont know about this problem
try use dimoand until device shuts down and than try to charge the phone..

Try using the battery conditioning program.
I don't know the name nor the link, but I know it's in Development and Hacking.
That'd be your best bet.

Well, I had something like that once, but it was a problem with display only because after soft-reset it showed full battery.

Have a try new zeus ROM. It's really worth it.

And also make the topic more precise...nobody knows what u want when u write help help... better make it precise, so ppl who can help u know what ur talking about...

It has been pointed out by several folks here before.
CM7 suck with WIFI (its like water running down the drain, in this case its the battery) , try to turn it off if you're not using it. and see if you feel the different.
another thing that I do is turn off all the signal when i go to sleep. Just my personal preference, i don't want to get interrupted when I got o bed. normally from 11:30PM - 8:00AM all signal off, battery hardly drain during this period.

Turn off 3g and set gsm only mode.

Use juice defender. It manages wifi, 3g, bluetooth, brightness, autosync, and many more.

And rapes your battery.

Go on spare parts then battery history, select partial wake usage and total in all time you'll see wath is using ur battery the most. Don't care bout' android system its normal

This doesnt work for me on v20n. I get FC when i click battery history.

Hello guys!
I have this phone 1 year and 4 months . Four months ago I replace my touchscreen because shows colored stripes..and do not react..
After i replace my touchscreen , my battery very fast discharging ( max 10 hours JUST STAND-BY) , touchscreen is original by LG ..
Now I use the PA v2.6 build 08 , and get hard for 5 hours..
Who is the problem ? my battery need replace ? I don`t think it`s a problem with my touchscree.

I know that Cyanogenmod10 had a huge Wifi drain problem in the past, I don't know if Paranoid has that too? Is your wifi on all the time? What does the battery app in settings say about battery usage?

Paranoid doesn`t have this problem .. (no wifi isn`t on all the time , just in case I need) Now my phone is charging.. I pose a img with battery usage
I need replace the battery ?

i really suggest you to try the opti-trust rom from jishnu sur. with the new civato kernel it has outstanding battery life

If I replace the battery , I will up the battery life ? (I like PA rom..)

As suggested,post here a screenshot with battery usage and try another ROM too just to be sure that your battery draining isnt caused by your ROM.
You wont get anywhere if you just stand around,so try what have been suggested to you.

after around 14 hrs of day using my HTC One and GSAM (6 hours sleeping ) , and this is the first use of GSAM when Full charge
i have this result and i cannot read if it if GOOD or Not ,...
ALSO when you see the Averages Screen on on the bottom of the screen , it says : 3h 3m (22m 7s max) , what this mean ?

Pleeeeeaaaase any help ?

you need many days on the app for all the reading to start to have meaning
you used 33% in 14 hrs that's pretty good battery life

Results are good or not depending on what app you use, also your settings. For example, if you use full brightness, battery will last less.. So each battery stats will be tricky

Battery drain RR op3t

Hi, im on ressurection remix os 5.8.2 (last update) and the battery life os horrible (the phone just have half day autonomy before i had 1 day) but the dash charge is si fast now ( ~= 35 min to completely charge) i also make à battery calibration with the root essentials app but i got always the issue.

Try the app betterbatterystats and see what wakelocks you are getting. Most it is an app that is causing this problem.
