I have HTC One Sprint Sim unlocked. It works well in GSM networks, however I recently visited Sweden and Poland and was unable to get my GSM sim to work there, maybe this is a roaming issue. However I plan to relocate to Sweden and i want to get LTE working there. Sprint has LTE freq at 1900 Mhz, and in Europe you'll mostly get 1800 Mhz. Is there any way to get LTE working at Europe?

Asking regarding ATT LTE model.

Europe and Asia mostly uses the 2100MHz band which the 4G LTE does not have so most likely, you won't be able to use it.

According to their website specs... 2100 mhz is supported. Dont care about 4g speeds. Only hspda or 3g is fine overseas... It also says international supported, but not sure about if its sim locked.

The 2100 band is for LTE not for UTMS where the rest of the world is still kinda in. The LTE version surely does not work in South East Asia, Hong Kong or Macau, I brought one with me on my trip 2 weeks ago.

I c i c. Thanks. I guess skyrocket cant work as well in asia then.... Since they are based on the same chip. For your tablet... Did you unlock it and didnt even pick up the signal?
Was thinking about free skyrocket plus 8.9 tablet...
Ehcan, did it work with 3g freq in asia though? I know no lte.. But want to know if it works with the att 8.9 unlocked.
i was wandering if it was possible to use the HTC vivid in the uk?
Sure its quadband IIRC but if you don't have an international plan you will be raped in roaming fees. AFAIK there is no 4g in the UK so you'll be getting 3g at best. I kept my phone in airplane mode and just used wifi wherever possible.
Tri-band

You should be able to, and I'd hazard a guess that you'll still be able to get 3G also, since the Vivid does have the "world" 3G band of 2100MHz.
Forget about LTE, though.

Hi,
Yes it will work with no problems over 2G & 3G, but must be SIM unlocked if you want to use British SIM card.
But it will be problem with 4G LTE, because HTC Vivid (USA)/HTC Raider (Canada) is using different bands and frequencies as 700/1700/1900
Europe standard for 4G LTE is 800/2600 MHz
ATM UK is planning to use 4G LTE in year 2013 Band 7 (2600 MHz) / Band 20 (800 MHz) as standard for the rest of the Europe.
P.S. I've got Canadian version from Bell & South Korean version.
Love those phones
Just can't wait until we will get S-OFF
Hey guys!
I want to pre order the HTC one right now, it says it has 4g LTE; but im not sure, does LTE work everywhere now (multiple radios on board) or do the frequencies differ by regions
what I want to know is ; will this:

1.) the LTE Frequencies vary from country to country...
From HTC:
EU: 800/1800/2600 MHz
US (AT&T): 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz
US (TMO): 700/AWS MHz
US (Sprint): 1900 MHz
Asia: 1800/2600 Mhz

Now comes the great news.. as far as I know Rogers uses 2600 MHz . so EU Version from the UK WILL work!
99% confident
EDIT:
Maybe this Thread can be moved to Q/A
Rogers should have the phone next Friday....given that is when the pre-order offer ends
the one that available now, only has one band that matches rogers LTE band :2600
as far as i know and read from XperiaZ forum, (c6603 XperiaZ has almost same LTE band as ONE)
no one are able to get LTE.
if you need LTE. get it from your provider.

I could assume they have the US Model then? If they have the European one, all they need is the correct apns and maybe activate LTE over Settings.. DIAL *#*#INFO#*#* and then phone information ... and see if LTE is activated

Hey guys, just a quick question one more time.
As you guys know the exciting news the HTC One is available for pre order and unlocked straight from from the manufacturer! I'm really stoked on getting this phone but want it to have LTE working.
Now I have 2 options, getting it unlocked (32GB) or going for the T-Mobile branded one.
These are the bands the unlocked version works on.
HSPA/WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz - GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz - LTE: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)
Now I tried looking up T-Mobile on their support forums, online support agents, outsourced call center employees, and even resorted to wikipedia.
My only question is will T-Mobile's upcoming LTE work on this phone? My location is NYC if that helps.
Anyone???

I'm in the same boat. I want to get the unlocked version but want to make sure it has LTE for US carrier (either AT&T or tmobile). I believe these LTE bands should work. If I'm not mistaking, AT&T uses both 700Mhz & 1700Mhz (AWS).
I've switch my AT&T HTC One X plus to T-Mobile and LTE works great. So I think the HTC One developer edition will work just fine on T-Mobile network.

Must be different in the States. . . im in UK, i brought my One in Carphone warehouse, got it on Tuesday, its debranded, Sim Unlocked, and has LTE. . . Im eagerly waiting for my EE Simcard so i can use the LTE functions of this. . .
Dev will not have HSpa unless your in the reformed markets with 1900 band.
LTE will work if youre in a lte ,market.
Been answered many times

I'm considering whether to buy an T-Mobile version and unlock it or a "Officially Unlocked" version on HTC's official website. I have found two differences so far.
(1) The first is that T-Mobile version seems to support more 3G networks while Unlocked supports more 4G networks.
Here is something from HTC official website.
Unlocked version
HSPA/WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz
4G LTE: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)
T-Mobile version
3G - UMTS/ HSPA: 850/ AWS/1900/2100 MHz with HSDPA up to 42 Mbps
4G - LTE: 700 MHz and AWS band
AT&T version
3G - UMTS/ HSPA: 850/1900/2100 MHz with HSDPA up to 21 Mbps
4G - LTE: 700 MHz and AWS band
So does it mean that both Unlocked and TM versions can completely support AT&T network, TM version can completely support TM network (of course), and Unlocked version partly supports TM network (no 3G AWS support). Am I right?
(2) The second is about S-OFF. Neither Revolutionary nor Moonshine mentions the Unlocked version, but they both support TM version.
PS: Can I use more frequency bands by flashing something into an S-OFF HTC One?
If you're going to use it on T-Mobile, why not just buy the T-Mobile version? The unlocked version doesn't have support for AWS bands.

I'm not quite sure which operator will I use.
if your in the USA the tmobile version will probably serve you the best since it can pick up pretty much every companies 3g and 4g signal without problems. tmobile or ATT.
there is currently no way to flash a radio to support other bands not sure if this is even possible currently

I am on a TMobile branded phone, which I unlocked to use with my AT&T account, on which I previously had an iPhone 4S. I've been having some issues getting on LTE so far. I did talk to AT&T several times to make sure that the One was provisioned on my account, and the account was changed to a "4G LTE" data account. I've driven all over the downtown Los Angeles area (downtown, Chinatown, Dodger Stadium, Commerce, and Hollywood) and have yet to see LTE when I'm on AT&T. I get it fine on Tmobile (I picked up a pre-paid Tmob SIM.) I've tried several different APNs (wap.cingular, phone, and pta (which doesn't even connect)). As of right now, I'm a bit stumped as to where the issue might be (it presents itself in Sense, Android Revolution, and Google Edition ROMs). I may just buy an HTC One from AT&T and will put my SIM card in it to see if I get LTE on there, and then return it.
My belief, and what just about everyone has said, is that the TMob phone should be able to get on AT&T's LTE. For whatever reason, and I can't quite lay blame anywhere yet (I'm new to Android, so it could very well be I'm not getting something), it's not working.
