my phone cannt find any signal after update the software whats the problem can help?
sorry but i really can't understand what you're asking
my phone cant find service and cant search signal how can fix it?
did you flash a Custom ROM? is your back cover put in?
no i flash orginal rom through bootloader (fastboot) i rename the rom to pg32img.zip and i flash it after finish the phone cant find signal
you flashed a different original rom? for what purpose?
i'm thinking you might have an icompatible radio.
you can always just use the goldcard method and RUU to flash another stock rom.
after looking at your first post... i think you flashed the radio not a ROM
i flashed the different rom through change the name to pg32img.zip
and i flash it through bootloader
after it the signal is dead
now i flash the orginal rom
RUU_Vivo_Sasktel_Canada_WWE_1.46.669.1_Radio_Radio_20.23.30.0802U_38.02.01.17_M_release_176741_signed_2.exe
but the problem is still
Try GSM Mode only ... the signal should be come
.....
And this should go to general....
i try choose gsm only and didnt work i think there problem in radio

You do not need a 2.3.3 ROM, what you need to do is flash one of the Gingerbread compatible radios. I have provided you the link in one of the other threads you started.

htc freezing on white/logo startup screen

Hi, I tried to update the system on my phone and when it did a reboot after updating and installing, it is freezing on the white/logo startup screen. how can i proceed...?
Remove the battery to turn the phone off, and when turning back on, hold down the power+volume up buttons. This will put your phone in hboot mode and allow you to reflash your ROM from there.
Good luck.

thanks. Yes i did make it to that step. now i need to flash the official rom for my model which is S710e, but i found so many links that i'm confused which one is the official...can i have some indication...
thanks in advance
If you flashed a custom rom and it is stuck in white screen with logo, your boot partition is messed up. But no worries you can fix it.
Extract the boot.img file out of your custom rom (zip-file).
download the SDK files
put the boot.img in the same folder as the files
Boot phone in fast boot
connect phone through usb with a computer
open command prompt on the pc an go to folder
use command fastboot flash boot boot.img
wait 2 secs
reboot
whole proces takes maybe 10 min, very easy to do.
no i did not flash a custom rom. i just did a system update which was prompted to me on the phone itself; when i did this it got stuck on reboot. then i did a factory reset but it was in vain.
at this point what i want is to have my phone back as it was in the beginning...so I wish to know how i can flash a stock rom so that it will become like brand new. thanks.

First, you have to know what your mainver is:
Boot into fastboot, open a cmd window in windows and type this:
Code:
fastboot getvar mainver
This will give you your mainver (e.g. 2.12.708.4)
And go here: http://www.filefactory.com/f/e45d6fe3dcf51228/
You'll find shipped rom list. The filenames are in format like this: RUU_[name][mainver][radio_version]_signed.exe You must select ones with WWE prefixes (for multi-language support) and higher mainvers than yours! For example, if your mainver is 2.12.708.4, then you can select RUU_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_Sasktel_Canada_WWE_2.33.669.2_Radio_20.2810.30.085AU_3805.06.03.16_M_release_203211_signed (this one's mainver is 2.33.669.2) in the shipped rom list.
Once you've downloaded, you'll face another problem: Flashing.
Flashing is not a real problem but needs some trickies.
The question: Have you rooted your phone?
If yes, this thread is your flashlight to enlighten your way..
If no, you have to obtain a goldcard. A goldcard is a special microSD which prevents the phone to check cid (Customer ID) while trying to flash an original rom. If you haven't created a goldcard yet and cannot boot your phone properly, find another Android based phone and insert your microSD card into it. Then read this thread to create your gold card. Once you've created your goldcard, then it's so easy for you to flash your original rom. Follow the steps in the link above (explaining how to flash).

i downloaded and flashed a stock rom on my phone by placing the PG32IMG.zip file in my sd card . the update was completed successfully however the phone still got stuck in the htc startup screen. any ideas what the problem might be?
I haven't tried the goldcard yet however.

Did you previously use Revolutionary to gain S-Off on your phone. If so by trying to install the OTA update, you now have a HBOOT ROM mismatch. The OTA update requires that the HTC HBOOT 2.00.0000 be installed, but the Revolutionary S-Off HBOOT prevented the OTA from overwriting the hboot, thus creating the situation you are in.
Follow steps 1 - 2c on this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15732727&postcount=14
The find the OTA file on your SD card and extract the file firmware.zip.
Copy this to the root of your SD card and rename it PG32IMG.zip and then reboot into bootloader and it should reflash the correct HBOOT and you should be good to go.
Thanks very much tpbklake, I managed to solve my issue following the thread you indicated. its been 3 weeks since last i used my mobile. Send it to various ppl including HTC (which did not want to fix my mobile) and no one fixed it. have tried that thread and now its fine working again )

All you need to do is go to the Development section and upgrade from Revolutionary HBOOT 6.13.1002 to BlackRose 2.02.0002. That will allow your phone to boot.

Unable to put back to stock RUU (Need Original ROM HTC Incredible S)

Hello,
I have HBOOT-2.01.0001 RADIO-3822.01.08.14_M eMMC-boot and I'm running newest Cyanogenmod RC 7.2.0 RC1. Yesterday my phone was stock RUU and I went to HTCDEV.com and unlocked it. After that I flashed the recovery to Clockworkmod v.4.0.1.4 through ADB. Put the CM RC 7.2.0 RC1 .zip on the root of the SD card along with Gapps .zip file.
Then I rebooted into Clockworkmod recovery and installed the 2 .zip files and rebooted. It would not boot and was stuck on HTC logo screen. I found out that I had to separately flash the boot.img file from within the CM RC 7.2.0 RC1 .zip and then everything worked fine.
(Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I did do a backup from within the Clockworkmod before flashing the CM rom)
Ok, so I tested Cyanogenmod for a couple of hours and found out that it was a bit faster than the new stock Ice Cream Sandwich (latest update per 20 april 2012) and it had a lot of ekstra features, but the interface and layout is really low end in my opinion. I gave it a honest try and spent some time changing settings and layouts and even downloaded a couple of ADW themes. Nothing that was even near the new ICS.
Bottom line is that I really want to get back to the original stock RUU Ice Cream Sandwich and I'm unable to
Attempt 1:
I have tried to restore the backup that I made in Clockworkmod and it seems to install just fine. But when restarting it gets stuck on HTC logo Screen. So I thought, maybe this has something to do with the boot.img that has to be flashed manually. So I took out the SD card and put it in my PC using a adapter. Found the boot.img file from the backup inside the clockworkmod/Backup folder and flashed the boot.img file and I'm still stuck on HTC logo screen. It will not boot after recovering the backup no matter what I try.
Attempt 2:
After googling a lot I found the website Shipped ROMs and found my model which I believe to be VIVO (I have a HTC Incredible S from april 2011 in Norway (Europe)).
The only logical RUU i can find is: RUU_Vivo_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.30.405.1_Radio_20 .2808.30.085AU_3805.06.03.03_M_release_199308_sign ed.exe
Since the other 2 RUU's listed are ASIA.
I downloaded the WWE RUU and ran it. I followed the instructions to the point and got the message Error 155 after about 30 seconds right after it is finished with sending.....
Now the phone will not boot again, stuck on HTC logo screen. And so I'm running out of ideas. In other words I'm stuck here
I reflashed the same Cyanogenmod rom and at least that works again
Anybody have any suggestions in how to solve this or any info at all to direct me into the right direction? This would be much appreciated
I'm thinking maybe anybody knows where I can find a stock ROM .zip file for this phone modell that I can flash the same way i do Cyanogenmod (as described above)?
Maybe even an older version like Froyo, but then I hope it is possible to update to latest stock RUU just using the built in "search for update" function in settings.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. T. Nuis

You can only run and use a RUU successfully when you relock your bootloader. That is what the error 155 is telling out.
In the Development section there is a stock, rooted ICS ROM based on the WWE RUU as well as a couple of custom ICS ROMs based on the stock ICS. You can flash these in CWM like you did CM 7.2
Dude follow nonverbose downgrade technique .... I've gone through same problem...he will help u and he is the best
Smal suggestion ,if u want to upgrade to stock ics 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 its waste of time u will definetly go back to custom roms believe me...

Thanx man, could you also provide me with a direct link? I´m unable to find this. I don´t get it. Whenever using the "Search All Forums" all this other stuff comes up. I must be searching wrong....
If you want to install stock RUU again, you need to relock the bootloader as some one already pointed out..
To relock the bootloader, enter your phone's bootloader, connect your phone to your computer --> enter fastboot in your bootloader --> fastboot menu should show fastboot usb once the usb is connected --> open command prompt/terminal on your computer --> type fastboot devices. if your phone is recognized, it should show the device serial number.
Then type fastboot oem lock...your phone's bootloader should be relocked...then install the RUU
Sometimes, you need to format the data and system partition for the RUU to work properly. You need to do this before relocking the bootloader through a custom recovery (i find this easy instead of using ADB). This is not mandatory. I ran into some problem once and formatting data and system partitions worked..But, as I said, it happened only once and it is not mandatory to do this every time you relock your bootloader.
Please correct me if I am wrong...

No, a RUU is a Windows PC App that you run on your PC and then follow the instructions to attach your phone via the USB cable when prompted.
It will install a stock Sense ROM to your IncS. The only version on HTCDEV.com is the final ICS 4.0.4 ROM with Sense 3.6.

The one in my signature is built from the 4.14.405.1 RUU and is a fully rooted version of this stock ROM.
You can flash it on an unlocked bootloader from recovery just like you would for other custom ROMs.
Since you have an unlocked bootloader, you would have to manually flash the boot.img file contained in the ROM's zip file just like other custom ROMs.

Yes, it has full stock Sense 3.6.
As for the download, sounds like you may have downloaded the kernel source and not the RUU.

HTC One M7 Sprint bricked

Hi,
I was running cyanogenmod 11 nightly and I was trying to flash the stock HTC sense ROM on my phone, but I think I wiped the system and there is no OS installed.
I am on hboot 1.57 and S-On. I have tried several RUUs, but they can't detect my phone.
Please Help!
Your thread has been moved to the Q&A section. Please do not create new threads in the Development section, unless it is development. Please look through the XDA rules, once you have resolution to your issue.
Thank you.

is your bootloader locked or unlocked? if unlocked, do you have a custom recovery installed? if you can access fastboot and s-on, you're almost certainly not bricked.
also, out of curiosity, what is the error you get when running the RUU exe when it says you can't detect your phone?

I have an unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed, but it can't mount the system to flash a ROM.
I think I was getting error 170 USB connection error.

I was also getting error 170 just yesterday that the RUU couldn't detect the phone. it was happening for me with the bootloader locked (and unlocked too for that matter). i don't have an answer for that yet.
As for the system mounting, I was having the same problem . I went into TWRP, went to Mount and mounted data. I'm not sure if that step mattered. I then went into Wipe/Advanced Wipe and wiped everything (except usb-otg), which I believe formatted system and data properly, but cache was still a problem. I then used "adb push" to push a ROM to internal storage and flashed it. At this point, everything was working except cache was still not able to mount. When I hit the wipe cache/dalvik button after flashing the ROM though it formatted cache properly (I had previously done fastboot format cache which made it unreadable). Basically, just wiping and flashing until I had it working again.
Let me know if this works for you too.
Thanks Vember31!
I'll try it tomorrow and i'll let you know if it works.
Hey Guys!
I was able to un-brick my phone with the correct version of the RUU. I don't know how I was able to fix the USB error, but my computer was able to recognize my phone. I am back on stock HTC Sense 6 with android 4.4.2 kit kat. I am going to put some sort of stock android ROM on it.
Are there any other ROMS other than cyanogenmod that you would recommend?

Which RUU did you use??
There are a handful of great AOSP roms out right now for m7spr. I'd check the Sprint HTC One Android Development threads. In terms of lollipop, we have CM12 (unofficial), liquid smooth, pac beta builds, unofficial aicp (new) and a couple of 5.0+ GE/Sense builds. There are no active roms in the Original Android Development threads at this time. I've tried all of the aosp builds and would say they're all comparable, though with some i've had "no sim card" issues
I used the Sprint HTC One M7 5.05.651.2 RUU

Hey Guys,
Here is a link to the latest 6.16.651.2 lollipop RUU for the Sprint HTC One M7

So today happened my phone's battery died and when I connected and turn on again my phone said I don't have a valid SIM card so I don't know if I need to unlock, or something. Please help me.

I'm thinking this is a similar issue many users are experiencing. I have no idea on how to unlock or use this phone on any other network than sprint. I've personally had settings reset and lost data and continually have to set my phone back how I like it because of dying batteries. Sorry my man I cannot help with this problem, only verify that marshmallow seems very glitchy

R u able to unlock. i am also facing same issue.
if yes. Please let me know what all thing you tried.
If your phone shows invalid sim it means it is relocked, you can unlock again same methods mentioned in General forum if you are on android 4.4.3 or 4.4.2 SENSE rom (others claim it work on upto v 5 but it didn't work for me on 4.4.4 and later). You will need S-OFF to downgrade firmware to earlier than 4.20 or 3.30 (firmware version) because some new firmware will not run old SENSE roms.
[RUU][Firmware]Sprint HTC One M8 | 6.20.65x.3 | Stock Rooted ROMs | Updated 1.30.16 (you have to look for older firmwares in 1st/2nd post)
Sim unlock method
steps if you are on MM rom and SOFF:
1-Backup internal memory(will be erased with RUU)
2-Make full TWRP nandroid backup on external SD or copy it to your PC from internal memory
3-Downgrade FW (with RUU to avoid problems)
4-Install 4.4.2 or 4.4.3 Custom SENSE rom (I used Viper 1.5)
5-Follow same simunlock method
6-Upgrade with MM firmware twice (MM RUU will not install without this step)
7-Upgrade with MM RUU (optional step to make sure all partitions are upgraded)
8-Install TWRP and restore your full nandroid backup
9-Restore your internal memory backup which you did not forget to do, because your internal memory is now empty if you used RUU to upgrade/downgrade.

Hi,
I was on stock marshmallow and s-offed my device so I could downgrade.
Could you please describe what exactly needs to be done in step 3 "Downgrade FW"
Is it possible to run some RUU.exe to achieve step 3 listed above?

You don't need adb or USB debugging to use fastboot, you also don't need to boot the phone as long as it turns on to the bootloader use command "fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img"
If fastboot cannot see your phone then install HTC drivers and check the cable to make sure the computer can see your phone.
Command "Fastboot devices" to see if you installed the drivers properly
