Hi,
My Z1 suddenly turned off and won't turn back on. I tried booting into safe mode and charging it but both won't work. Later I connected it to PC and it turned on but didn't go to sim unlock and then the screen went black again. When I hold power, up and down it vibrates. I hope it's a good sign. Is there any way to connect it to PC and transfer my internal storage otherwise I will lose important files
Thanks in advance
that's really bad that you've held those files in internal storage as now we will have to revive your phone without wiping the data which I believe will be hard.
I'll try to help, but I don't promise that you will keep your data.
If you remember on what firmware you have been before then try downloading the ftf with that firmware. Download flashtool by android dee, select flash, flashmode and the ftf you downloaded. Make sure that you've unchecked userdata flashing and that exclude userdata is checked or something like that. I can't use PC today so screenshots would be useful. It's very important that you choose the FTF for your exact model. Flashing C6903 ftf to C6902 device may result in a brick. When it tells you to connect your phone while holding back button-hold volume down and connect it to the PC.
If it won't fail - wait until it's done.
If you need More help with this - make sure you quote me so I'll get a notification about it.

My Xperia won't boot since yesterday, i'm stuck on the screen with the triangle with a wrench and a screwdriver. I saw some threads where they said you should wait, but it's been like this for the last 15 hours or something. I have tried searching for a solution but couldn't find a solution. The phone has the latest stock Jelly Bean firmware and is not rooted, any ideas how to fix this?
Edit: Sorry wrong section
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Try to turn it off. And flash FW via flashtool.

I don't really like that i first have to unlock the bootloader to do that. I have this phone only a few weeks so i can just get a new one from my carrier but that takes a lot of time. Is it possible to repair it with the Sony PC companion or ADB?
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Just plug it in and leave it, it's repairing itself.
If you keep turning it on or off it starts again.
As an aside you don't need to unlock to use flashtool.
If you can't wait then download and flash the same version with flashtool or use a pccompanion, repair option. If you won't wait you need to format data

The 15 hours i described was without turning it off and on, can it really take that long?
Re: [Q] Xperia T won't boot
Hold vol up and power until you feel the three vibrations, run pccompanion without the phone connected, choose the software repair option, connect phone when instructed, do not power up the phone before or you'll be straight back to the tools screen.

Hello all!
Ok so i just got my daughter the c5306 sp on virgin about 2 weeks ago. Her friend decides to show her the mcafee app and inputs a fake email and pin.
the phone is now LOCKED!
Literally can't do anything NOR can i find a hard reset option. i tried several key combination hoping for android recovery but NADA!
And the pc companion, useless in this situation as it needs me to unlock the phone for it to work... oh and that reset button on the back... crud!
any help, anyone know how to get to android recovery?
any help is much appreciated
the sony xperia range don't have a stock recovery built in unless cwm recovery was installed and rooted before your daughter was shown/given the phone.
If it was try shutting phone down then restart and start pressing (repeatedly) vol down to enter recovery but this will only help if a backup was made which you can restore if no backup exists you to follow the next step.
If not you need to shut down phone then either use sus,PCC,flashtools to reflash the phone.
I would recommend flashtools and find the ftf you need on Sp forum then use this to get phone back working

You can find the stock .ftf files here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311964
You download and open flashtool (from here depending on your PC OS :http://flashtool.net/ )
Shut your phone down
From flashtool press the lighning button
Then select flashmode and press ok
Select the .245.ftf file (its the latest kernel released by Sony that you downloaded from the link above)
And then press flash
then it will open a new window showing a phones a usb cable and a back button
With your phone powered down you hold the "Volume Down" button down and while holding plug the Usb cable to your phone
It will take some time flashing the data and then it will say "Phone Connected in flashmode"
Disconect and boot the phone
This procces could Hard brick your phone so be careful and follow the steps!!!
If you are not willing to take the chance just do it with SUS
open it then go to update phone/tablet
fix phone/tablet and follow the instructions on the screen
But it will be ok i flashed kernel 4 times to my phone (for rooting it)
Good Luck
you can use SUS to reflash the fimware
Hi, have tried to install walkman zip in FlashGordon app. Something gone wrong and the phone rebooted. Now the phone selfs enter the stock recovery. I have not unlocked BL. In that recovery I tried factory reset but no effect. Still the same.
I need some way to reinstall teh phone software, smthing like Flashtool for Xperias, would be great.
Could you start the download/update mode?
(press and hold the power button and plug usb cable connected to pc till update screen.)
Maybe you can restore the firmware through LG Mobile Support Tool (B2CAppSetup).

I am not able to fix the phone. It does not boot, it don't vibrate, no recovery, no download mode, not being detected by ls /dev/sd* and lsusb. Also nothing in Windows.
Do you have an idea to do something about it? Do you think I make a chance if I return it to the shop? I bought it yesterday.
Hello guyz
Sony Z1 C6903 - I was updating it via my Laptop to Lollipop.
Suddenly my Laptop turned off in the middle of the updating proccess.
Now the phone starts , Shows the Sony Logo and then a black screen nothing else.
I searched and found the Flashtools but im not sure how to try them out.
Does any one here faced a similar issue?
You phone is not bricked, if your phone turns on, vibrates or shows LED's this means your phone still works. However you have had a bad flash since your laptop switched off. Since you have got Flash Tools, you are going to have to reflash you phone. I am not sure if you had root as you didn't specify, but that what I have said so get you back on your feet, if you are going to root, make sure you get the 108 firmware to flash.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469191 - Go here and find the right ftf file for you phone.
Install FlashTools and put the ftf file in C:/users/user/firmwares
in FlashTools, click on the lightning symbol and then make sure Flash Mode is enable and click ok
Locate the flash file you downloaded and flash.
