Thanks..I have tried to recreate the partition and it still doesn't work. Do you have any suggestion to increase free space?

Well no, I'm not playig games from gameloft. Does the mod only work for games from gameloft?

i think only :/ maybe try it, it swaps external to internal https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.codlab.int2ext

Try foldermount...

That happened to me too, I tried all the ext but ended up in boot loop.

[Q] Proper App2SD guide please...

Im using custom roms for a while now (on GDX26 now). i just move apps to sd, havent done any partitioning and things. so can someone give me a proper noobs guide to app2sd and tell me whats about this sd partitioning and file systems and stuff?
anybody??? :/
Check if your recovery has a Partition option, this is the easiest way to do it. If yes, you only need to give the size that you desire for the partitions. WARNING: all your SD data will be deleted.
If no, you need to use a PC Program, like minitool partition wizard, to create the EXT partition. It's easy: shrink the fat32 partition and create the EXT partition using the left space. The format must be EXT4.
Hopefully, your phone will recognize the EXT partition and will mount it

Thanks guys
but can you tell me whats the difference between native app2sd on 2.3 and app2sd with sd partitioning?
oh and whats this swap? its some sort of virtual ram right? do i need it and how do i make it?
Native app2sd doesn't move all the app to the SD (and not all the apps can be moved). Using EXT partition all the apps can be moved totally, so the use of internal memory is minimal.
SWAP, yes, it's virtual ram. I don't recommend you its use, because the SD's life is dramatically reduced.
If you wish to test it, you need to make another partition (formatted as SWAP), either from the Recovery or using a pc program.

You have no idea how slow it is. about 900kb/s took me 3+ hours to copy about 10gb of my old data to the sd after partitioning
i dont have a card reader

Really need help please...
so no fix for this?

[Q] would partion sd card increace internal memory???????

would partion sd card increase the phone memory ???
With script, yes. But if your sd card is low class, you'll have a bad time with that. Sd-ext partition will randomly break for no particular reason and you'll have to restore it regularly.
Any script ??

look this for CM

search S2E or link2sd
partitioning sdcard will not increase internal memory
but you can add additional memory to your phone with the help of scripts after partitioning
like using pen drive with hard disk

It actually make ur internal memory in a way coz now ur app and data will be install on the ext partition so ur internal memory wont be used.

What exactly did u mean when us say not decrease

Please provide more specifics about how you partition it and which partition layouts you use. Please keep in mind that the FAT32-partition should be on the beginning of the card and any ext-partitions should follow the FAT32-partition.

I have a fat32 partition first and the a ext2 partition after that.
I boot up, change to mtp mode.
reboot and start link2sd
I get to choose partiontype for second partition. I select it and it says to reboot the phone.
When I reboot is when i get to the loop that only shows the sony logo and then loops.
I have tried different partitions with the same result.
fat32, fat 32
fat32, ext 2
ext 2, fat 32
the result has been the same.
I'm beginning to think that it has to do with the app and not being compatible with my xperia v

Link2sd is not supported yet, it has the wrong mount points.
However, you can use titanium to move user apps to the sd card if you are running out of space, but I cant see that happening, I have 1.1gb spare on my internal memory (Not sd cards or internal sd cards, but on phone memory) with 585mb free on the system rom.

I am not sure.
I used to use link2sd a lot on previous phones becuse I needed the space, but I have not tried anything on the T yet as I have not run into storage space problems yet.

Yes. Very easy. Format the whole card to fat32 or whatever. Then just put source as the path from your sd card. Then destination as the original directory. Click move folder.
Put your android/obb there or whatever big directory.

[Q] SD EXT problems

My phone is aging. Nowdays it keeps losing the sd card and since I'm using INT2EXT, the moment this happens, I have to wipe data. Even after getting the SD card back, it just doesn't boot after this happens.
The question is: Is there a reliable sd ext script that is compatible with every ROM and survives SD card loss? S2E is not compatible with many ROMs, Link2SD moves the apps, but when installing a new one, it still says out of space.
And I'm using EXT4 on a UH1 16 gig card.
And I've been using this script for over a year without a problem. The reason I'm sure that it's caused by the loss of the card is that when the phone is booted and I remove the card, it goes into bootloop just like when this random loss happens. And I'm using Badass 1.9, so no logcat.
You can use cron mod.

Cronmod INT2EXT. That's what I'm using now.
Best choice is Link2sd plus because it links internal data too so you solve the space error problembut unfortunately you have to pay for it.

If there is no other way... Or maybe I will just keep a backup and try to hold up until I get a new phone. It should happen around x-mas which is not exactly now. I think I will end up with link2sd plus. Thanks for suggesting.
Here is another script for galaxy mini and I don't think that it's INT2EXT and did you partition your SD card with CWM partitioning?
