Seeing as there's post left, right and center (many of which are spiraling off topic) .. I thought I'd leave a note regarding my recent phone call to HTC UK Support.
I asked if the stock being sold at expansys (where I got my device from) was a grey import. She didn't say yes, but did say that the Europe release wasn't until August/September (I didn't realise it was as late as that - have my doubts as to the accuracy of that statement!).
I couldn't get a clear answer about the quoted RAM (128 versus)
I then asked about the warranty itself - I was told by a HTC rep, that if there was a problem with my phone that could be repaired and covered under warranty, then I could have it sent to a global repair center, which is based in the UK
Just thought some would like to hear this.
I got the same response regarding the warranty issue, when I called a HTC costumers service hotline earlier today.

August/September!? Now I'm worried...
and with the x1 coming in july according to inkino, now it seems likely ill never have a dimaond..
meh
INKINO have been known to be over-optimistic though...
Warranty Looks Good with Expansys Diamonds
I ordered my Diamond from Expansys on Thursday for Friday delivery last week - it arrived and I eagerly went to set it up only to find that it would not accept my Sim card???
I telephoned the HTC support hotline who proceded to take the IMEI number and Serial number of the phone - they asked me where I was based (UK) and who I had purchased the phone from (Expansys) - they then spent 30 minutes trying to resolve the issue with me (we failed) so they gave me a reference number, a fault number and declared it DOA.
I then called Expansys took down the details and issued me with a replacement phone which was delivered on Saturday morning and I returned the faulty one having recieved an RMA number and instructions.....
I'd say that was a pretty good service from both HTC and Expansys?
Absolutely

Ermmm i rung up totalpda and they said they are expecting stock in next week..in fact i placed my order with them and they said i should have it by the 24th of this month. According to them, it will be definitely uk spec.
Yep. Through what people have been told by these companies, that seems to be the official news - a worst-case-scenario release date of the 23rd...
I would like to buy the phone on one of these websites but they are out of stock for almost 1 month. They also keep pushing the "IN STOCK" date and let people to buy the phones even when they are still out of stock...
Are they waiting for delivery from China and the phones are grey import, or why is this happening? Thanks.
It could be that Sony recalled a batch. In the end we can only speculate. It's weird that both companies don't have any stock left.
Sent from my C6603
Sony is selling in US market now and may be having difficulty keeping up with demand. Ship dates they post are based on stock estimates coming from Sony and when Sony pushes their stock dates to the resellers then Clove / Handtec update those same dates on their websites.
handtec
I've just got mine from Handtec , they dont have any in stock , but have been emailing me every day with an update , they said this week they will have stock . lets see !
It seems that the compact device has bigger demand than Sony was expecting.

Well they were the first to cover the demand for a flagship spec phone in a "compact 4.6" factor.. Hate those watered down mini alternatives.

I was hoping this is the case too.
Sony has seen the problem with fragile glass and has quietly gone and fixed the issue behind the scenes and is now producing better units... fingers crossed this is the reason anyway.
I've asked yesterday in Handtec chat when the phone will be in stock, the answer was "end of this week". Will wait
Its Wednesday.. both clove and handtec have said it will be in Thursday !... Handtec did say to be did i want my money back ? or am I happy to wait ...
On Handtec.co.uk is stated:
Availability: Due in Soon - Order Now (Expected date 27 Nov, 2014)
It's been sold out since mid October...
On Clove.co.uk is stated:
SOLD OUT. Further stock delayed until 14th November (sold out since mid October and stated: Further stock delayed until end of October, the until 11th November, until 13th November, now until 14th November)
What the heck is going on? :crying:
Contacted Handtec today regarding my order - initially told at the start of the week to expect delivery end of week. Told yesterday expected stock on friday/monday. Told today Sony have pushed back delivery of stock for 2 weeks!
Ok, I think it's time to buy the phone somewhere else..

Is this true? Source?
I got mine a few weeks ago and I'm panicking because Case-Mate is still out of stock and I'm scared of cracking the glass. Should have I waited for the fix?
Last week there was a note on clove.co.uk, that Sony z3c will be in stock on November 14th, and i saw it in stock during the day, but around 4pm the black model becomes out of stock till 24th...
Got mine from handtec on Monday , they said they had some "emergency " stock in , they have been over whelmed by the demand , so its first come first serve basis.
But there still a note on Handtec that will be in stock on Nov 27th. How did u know that they have anything?

Buy it from mobileohonesdirect.co.uk
Despite another user on this forum having a negative experience with them, I received my handset within 2 days, and despite my gripes with the somewhat inconsistent camera quality, I even rang them up to initiate a refund and the woman I spoke to was very helpful.
Just need to decide whether I actually want to send it, and then fork out so much more money for an iPhone 6...
I don't think they provide international shipment. Will wait for stock at clove or handtec
For those interested: available on www.clove.co.uk (black and red). On www.handtec.co.uk expected tomorrow
Hello guys.
This is a complaint against the fraudulent Chinese shop www.pandawill.com
I am posting this because I am fed up with these guys.
This is the video I uploaded regarding the matter.
A warning to all - Stay away from the fraudulent www.Pandawill.com Chinese shop
It is somewhat long and am not expecting you to watch it, but some hits wouldn't hurt.
To give everyone a more condensed idea of what's going on...
- August 12th I ordered the Pipo S1 Pro tablet for my niece, with specs, RK3188 (Quad Core @1.8Ghz), 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 7inch IPS screen
- We received it about a month later
- It worked fine for a very short period of time
- I sent it back on October 4th
- This is the video I made after their request
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3xqaHwveyE
- It arrived to them on October 23rd as you can see in the first video and they said it needs 3-5 weeks for repair
- November 16th I send them an email asking for an update of the situation
- December 5th they offered to send me a USED ****ty DUAL CORE @1.3Ghz tablet as a replacement
- December 12th they told me that MY repaired tablet arrived but it's still broken and that it is going AGAIN for repair (another 3-5 weeks)
- December 19th they told me that they are willing to send me a repaired Pipo M9 Pro with BETTER specs that they one I bought. Thought they just were coming clean finally.
- December 22nd they say they will send it in 2-3 days
- December 29th they say that there was some job "mistake" and they will send it in another 2-3 days
- December 30th they say that the tablet is broken and ask if I wanted another one
- December 31st they offer to send me a DUAL CORE tablet AGAIN after I specifically told them what I wanted
- January 5th they offer to send me a RK3188 with 16GBs storage, that is a little better than the one I bought
- January 9th (the day I made this video), they told me that this tablet is ALSO BROKEN.
Hence I held my promise to God, that I will expose them.
And that is the CONDENSED version.
So what do you guys think? Seriously. Are these guys for real?
As I say in the video, the worst part is that this tablet was not mine. I got if for my niece and my cousin (her father) paid for it. As you can understand I am deeply ashamed with all this situation.

Honestly I don't blame you but seriously who buys directly from Chinese merchants? I would put some barrier like buying from Amazon. At least there you get some assurance you will get your money back. And I am wondering how much you spent? For $99 you can get a quality Kindle Fire 6

You buy Chinese, you buy problems.
Wow, i understand your anger.
Let's complain against Peyvandha.ir!
no warranty
i buy waterproof phone doogee dg700 titns2 . dont pull in water . after 30 days phone dead (memory\motherboard). dont load after logo . but screen is good i send it to china pandawil (shipping 30$!!) after 40 days panda say - you use phone on rain - no warranty . you must pay 80$ for new SCREEN and motherboard!!! amazing! hate this shop !
just share or post your you tube video on their twitter or Facebook fan page, they will respond you soon. xD
Tell them what you think
I'm having the same experience with Pandawill, your story is similiar to mine!
I've ordered Nubia Z7 mini at November 2014.
on February 2015, the phone was broken and sent to repair.
on April 2015 they had told me they giving it to the factory for repair.
on May they told that it's back but it's still broken so they're sending it back to factory.
an June they told me they will send me Lenovo Vibe x2 instead. I agreed.
on July they told me the Lenovo is broken and offered to send me some very old phone (Star S1) !!
I really don't know what to do...there's no one to speak or complain... I swear one day I'll travel to Shenzhen and knock the heads of all those companies - Pandawill, Ali Express, coolicool and more...
one day!!
Not sure why this thread was revived but....
Lets keep the company bashing for Google reviews and not XDA please

I just ordered the 6gb 64gb ram version from Oneplus and it came in yesterday. The manufacture date is 6/10 which is before the phone even launched! On past OnePlus devices there would only be around a 2 week turnaround time from manufacturing to arriving at my house. This suggests they aren't really selling many of these phones.
I just got mine this Friday, the Date says 6/22.

Which country? I'm in the US and mine shipped from California. Even 6/22 indicates they are selling poorly and just sitting in a warehouse. I've bought alot of OnePlus devices and the turnaround time from factory to my door has always been 2-3 weeks or less. Over 2 months indicates poor sales.
Because your phone is refurbished device and listed as new. Just saying

I ordered one also on launch day and it was also 6/10. Returned that due to jelly, and bought another one thinking it might be less on a newer device produced in August, but got this one again made before launch lol. OnePlus not even selling through their original stock is a bad look for them. Poor sales also means they will abandon it early like the OnePlus 2 and x.

Maybe they just have a big stock for US release.

Doubtful. They have always said logistically it doesn't make sense to do that. They manufacture in smaller batches and then increase production or decrease based on demand.
Probably just not rotating the stock. Just piled new stock on top of old stock and they are just now getting to the stuff underneath the new stock.
Bought mine while I was in China, ordered 8/1, received 8/2. Manufactured on 7/26. 8/128 version slate gray version.
I think I read somewhere the 8/128 exceeded demand.
Interesting maybe just no demand for the 6gb version . Can anyone else chime in with their 8gb order dates? I couldn't justify the cost difference.
I don't see how this phone can have disappointing sales numbers. Every review online including YouTube gushes about how awesome this phone is. This is my 1st phone from OnePlus and I have to agree.
No reason to buy cheaper one...

This is likely the reason, the price difference is negligible for the increase that you get. It's more sense to go 8/128
I believe the 8/128GB variant sold a lot better.
By the way, where can I see the manufacturing date?
Edit: Found it. July 14th and ordered it around the 10th of August.
I believe the reason for this gap is the jelly effect.
Many people returned their phones and OnePlus simply re-sealed the boxes and sold them again to somebody else.

Ordered my 128 gb version on late July in Canada and I have 07/14
As the title say's, I bought a note4 of ebay and just came to receive it.
According to phone info the phone is manufactured the 17-10-2017? It is immaculate, well its brand-new and came with the original box and all its accessories. Imei on the box matches the imei on phone info.
Does not look a clone as a owned a few note 4's in the past. Bought this one for my wife as her note 4 is slowly dying.
Could this be a phone being repaired by Samsung, new frame/display and MB? Would that explain the young age of the MB?

Seems too good to be true.
Manufacturing date is 3 years after release, even being a refurb is a bit suspicious, because in 2017, the Note 8 had just been released, so Samsung would only be selling refurb Note 5s, if at all. Not Note 4s.
Something really weird about the device you got. Does the phone info app show the headset / charger connect counter?
Sent from my SM-G965F
I "clicked" on the refurbishment check in phone info and it does state manufacturing date does not match serial number, looks like your phone is a refurbished one.
It does not show the headset and charger counter but if I recall correct it does only show that when your are rooted no? I will check this weekend with my Note 2, this one is rooted and has the app installed.
Did the S/N and IMEI ananlyzer;
Manufacturing date June 2016, IMEI looks valid.

Someone's definitely tampered with the manufacturing date then.
June 2016 is still quite far ahead from initial release, must be one of the very last few Note 4s ever produced.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010
June 2016 seem OK (My wife's Note 4 is may 2016).
I start thinking that the refurbishing has been c/o by another company - not Samsung. I have seen a documentary on tv about companies in France/Germany refurbishing phones on a big scale.
Its big business as the majority of the people cannot/will not spend +500€ on a new phone.
It is not necessary negative either as they are using quality parts and the work is carried out correctly. I assume they would then modify the manufacturing dates as the phone is virtually new. Nothing wrong if you sell these phones as refurbished on reduced prices. In my case, I paid the average price for a used note 4.
Well, future will prove if this refurbished phone is going to last but for now I have a pristine note4 and not a mangled one where somebody replaced the display and could not be asked to used new adhesive. Look around on ebay etc and you will realize there is a lot of crap phones out there. On some of the auctions you can already see on the pictures that the displays are not fully "seated" in the frame indicating it got a new display.

I agree, had a black note 4 from mid 2016. Sadly it did not like water so it ended its life early.
just rooted the phone, it has 1x headset connect, 52 battery charger connect and 1x S Pen detach counter.
I got a NIB Note 4 on Ebay for about $120.. A year ago and it's working very well. No issues.
The Verizon model. 32GB.
I bought mine used from Ebay and it's still going strong. In fact I am selling my V20 instead of my Note 4 to upgrade to the Pocophone F1.
Mine was manufactured in October of 2014 and still kicking. Currently using a Pie rom as my daily driver. Amazing phone.
