I'm using that ROM. I have a Rogers XT1058 Canada and it works. Just make sure you back up just in case. I have no problems and I didn't have to flash a different baseband .
Sent from my fingers to your face

I used many roms on my 2 "mexicans" moto x. I'm with Nextel and telcel carriers.... And I flashed brasilian retail roms, T-Mobile usa roms, movistar roms etc.... And no problem.
By the way....you can flash xt1058 rom on xt1053 variant and vice versa .

Need help with the different versions of Moto x

Hello all,
I am about to take the plug in the Moto X world and have a couple questions. I live in the Great White North (i.e. Canada) so the only available version I can easily get my hands on is the Rogers version. My question is will I be able to use it on Rogers if I flash the Developer edition ROM. Will the developer edition ROM even work on a Rogers Moto X?
Thanks and much appreciated!
Yes, it will work fine as long as you have unlocked the bootloader. You will lose band 7 LTE (2600 Mhz) if you use the full developer edition firmware however you can flash the developer edition firmware and then flash just the modem from the Brazil 4.4 release and it will be restored. This is what I have been running for a while now on two Rogers XT1058s and it is working extremely well. Mine are sim unlocked and running on Koodo.
Thanks for the info! Sorry to ask such a noob question but where can I download the Dev edition firmware? I can't seem to find it. Also can you let me know where I can get the Brazil modem?
Much appreciated!!

Just curious, why would you need the dev edition ROM on the Rogers X? It has an unlockable bootloader, is extremely easy to root, and you can remove any extra apps Rogers puts on it? What's the advantage to using the dev edition ROM?

Use either rsdlite or mfastboot to flash it but just beware if things go bad you can not downgrade, so as a rule , flash only your specific carriers sbf firmware

2.- Im on 4.4 (Retail Brasil) whit the modem of T-mobile (because when i flashed the Retail Brasil i lost all the signal).
3.- I readed that the XT1053 its for T-Mobile US, Dev Ed and i flashed a brasilian! Really im going crazy.
¿What would you do?...
1.- Flash the 4.4 of T-Mobile and stay there.
2.- ¿Flash another 4.4.2?

So don't flash any sbf , chances if you lose your signal you'll have an expensive coffee table ornament. Youre better off flashing kangakat ROM and stay away from flashing sbf firmware unless your carrier specific sbf firmware is available

Thank you brother.
Before of that i will do this (its my last try):
I will flash the T-Mobile 4.4, if everything works fine I will upgrade to 4.4.2 of the same company (I founded ).
But, if I flash 4.4 and I see something wrong I will stay there and use only customs.
So one las question : In theory... ¿can I change between 4.4 of x carrier to another 4.4 of x carrier?

XT1058 Iusacell firmware compatible

Hi guys,
First of all sorry for my english, i know is not good but im doing my best.
Recently buyed an XT1058 (Iusacell - Mexico)... I dont know what is going on but works funny.
The active display works just sometimes and others not... I heard about this kind of problems whit the update that came from iusacell so... I want to change the firmware but i dont know whit one its compatible.
¿Somebody can help me whit this?
I read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/ref-how-to-root-4-4-links-guides-t2603358
But doesnt say anything about my xt1058 from iusacell.
Please..
EDIT: Any XT1058 is compatible... Tested.
Have you updated from 4.2.2 to 4.4.4?
I have the same XT1058 ftom Iusacell Mexico and i cant update the phone.
There is also no LTE signal, although my carrier and sim supports LTE.

Tmobile 4.4.3 sbf don´t signal with XT1052 Europe Version.

Hello Guys.
I flashed Tmobile 4.4.3 sbf in my XT1052 europe.
Every is fine but I had signal.
The only solution that I see is flash baseband of sbf eu.
With this I have signal. LMT, 3G, Edge.... Etc.... But I´ll like use the radio original of tmobile ever that possible.
My operator in Spain is Vodafone.
I saw other thread but is no solution for me because, the People was run a simcard of tmobile and I want run rom tmobile sbf in my XT1052 with Vodafone Spain and I can´t it.
Thanks in advance.
Nothing? :/

You will probably have to flash a correct radio for your phone.
The TMO phone has LTE bands 2/4/17. Your phone has LTE bands 3/7/20.

And prior to that probably adjust build.prop and set the correct APN for your provider.
I don't want LTE because in my region haven't it.
I have radio of rom stock eu. And now I have signal.
I'll think that is possible run with radio of tmobile with 3g or 2g
I flashed patch of kryptonyte and nothing happen for my model.
Have a solution run tmbobile rom with baseband tmobile?

I don't quite understand your situation. Do you have signal but no data transmission or there is no mobile signal at all? In the first case set APN. In the second case something went terrible wrong during flashing. Dirty flash is possible reason what caused impact of two different systems. I assume that you have bootloader unlocked. Go back to stock and make a clean flash.
The answer is very simple. Tmobile stock rom 4.4.2 or 4.4.3 don't work radio with her baseband. Nothing of gsm, 2g or 3g. Nothing of data. WiFi yes.
The only solution is flash radio/baseband of rom eu or uk 4.4.2 for have signal and can make calles, data etc etc.....
I want work with the baseband of tmobile because I think that is better that work for other no original baseband like eu of uk....
Do you understand me now?
Sorry, my english is very poor.

What are you trying to tell me is that US Tmobile Moto x can only work in the USA, what is not exactly true. Partially is correct for LTE but not for gsm or 3g. Tmobile's Moto x supports almost the same gsm or 3g frequencies as any European phone.

As I said dirty flash is possible reason. Try to get back original entire system (if you're unlocked) and this time totally follow the instructions.
I have unlocker version.
Flash total clean with adb....
Nothing of signal.....

He says that he flashed XT1053 4.4.3 to EU version XT1052 and had no cell signal.
This is normal. You won't get signal on XT1052 when running on XT1053 modem firmware.
I did the same thing some time ago but the other way. I flashed XT1052 firmware to my XT1053 to get more EU languages. But I had to flash XT1053 modern files to get it working.
Why are you insisting on running XT1053 modem firmware on XT1052?

Go to the Sprint HTC One Development Forum and find a ROM you want to flash. Each ROM's developer should provide instructions on how to flash their ROM. Also, only flash ROM's that are made for your Sprint phone or you are asking for trouble.
I tried flashing revolution on my sprint m7. And it softbricked now its running good. My question is, can i fkash a european rom or should i stick with the sprint roms

you have a CDMA, their are differences in the partition structure
