[Q]Battery Drain When Asleep

It seems like my HTC One is experience faster than normal battery drain when it is asleep since installing Android Revolution HD 7.3. I downloaded the better battery stats app, and would like to know which info I should post so you guys can help me pinpoint what is causing the unnecessary wakelocks.

Location Services battery drain

I noticed that location services causes a lot of my battery drain, as my idle battery usage after disabling it was much lower. Is there anyway to fix this? I thought google play update 4.1.10 fixed this?

Yeah, my Google Play Update fixed the location services drain...personally, my pet peeve with battery life is mostly due to the Sense UI using a lot of juice when I read articles on Blinkfeed. Do you have the same issue as well? Seems like even when I'm gaming, Sense still manages to be up there in terms of usage...

Google Maps 7 battery drain

Any one else got major battery drain when using google maps 7.0? It seems I get a nlp wakelock only with this version, and it uses up like 70% of my battery according to HTC.

On my Galaxy Note 2 I do experience the same. Many wake locks and Maps in top of battery users. I did remove the updates for Maps and see if drain has gone.

Did you tried to change location settings?
In what way? I'm also using Google experience launcher.

settings--> location
then disable wifi and mobile data location
My battery is charging now, when it hits 100% I'll test it. One other thing- since rooting and installing stock the battery seems to charge way faster now. Is this normal or is it a problem with my battery?
After 5 min, with WiFi and location data off, I played a bit of a game. Here is what happened. Battery down to 91%. Android system took 84% the game (its 2d) took 4 percent, and the screen took 2%. Any thoughts?

download a battery management app so you can seen exactly what is draining your battery. With stock htc battery app, it show me android system is draining my battery, but with other app I can pinpoint what is draining my battery. Maybe try this one
Done. Apparently android ui is taking 50% of my battery.
One other thing- I tried to use ART to save battery but it wouldn't enable- when I enabled it would rest at and still be using dalvik. This is with xposed, gravitybox uninstalled. Why does this happen?

Massive battery drain after sideloading Google Play Services

I just got my K20 Pro China ROM.
I installed google play services from the guide I followed here :https://www.revu.com.ph/2019/06/redmi-k20-pro-install-play-store-apps/
I'm only getting 2hrs of SoT! My phone is heating up very fast.
My phone went from 100% to 80% when I left it idle for an hour. I checked the battery stats.
I already disabled sync. I'm afraid it would damage my battery permanently if this persist.
What other Google play services version would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
