[Q][SOLVED][TX] Restoring Bands after select "Set USA Bands" - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

My gf was messing with the *#*#4636#*#* menu on her XTX and selected "Set USA Bands" and the phone cannot connects with the cellular service.
Any clues how to fix this?
Thanks...

What other options/bands are there available? Screenshot?
I remember on other phones I've changed those options, and after rebooting it would fix by itself; but never on the TX, maybe it works differently.

Lost Data Connection!

3G and H are appearing but nothings happening, no activity. This is after a data\cache wipe. Any fix or do I need to flash again?

Check your apn settings. Also, try searching for your network provider.

It's set to orange internet, network provider is set to orange.
dial *#*2263* and make sure all the bands are selected (go under combi bands and select them all). Other than that, not sure.
That's not doing anything on my phone, you sure that works with froyo?
Nevermind, tried sgs tool, all are selected... Still not working..
Ps: swype is awesome.

Get the exact APN name from Orange and make sure it's set for internet.
Sometimes, telcos have multiple APN settings.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
What he said. Sorry I got the code wrong, I was going from memory. Failing that (apn check), you may have to reflash, but I'd see if you can get some insight from someone a little more experienced than me
maybe he updated to froyo and lost his imei
Don't understand why but it appears to be working now, I also tried it this morning with no luck maybe it's due to location, but it was working fine before...
Very strange, will try later today and see if it's still working.
Shortly after getting home, got no service message, after reconnecting to network the 3G connection is dead again.
I'll reflash later, this isnt right..
Exactly the same after being flashed and reseting everything to defaults, this is great.
Last time I touch clockwork recovery.
Can't even make any calls now , either the sim cards messed up or the phone is...
I'm starting to hate this phone.

APN cannot be saved

I changed my ISP today, and when I was trying to add APN for LTE, the APN didn't stay. I pressed save but the APN list is still blank. could someone tell me what's going on?

Need some help with my MotoX - Not registering on my network

Hi Everyone,
I got me a used MotoX, a customized version with a back cover and a badgers logo (go badgers!)
Anyway, it worked fine in the US on At&t, it worked fine in Europe, but now i'm in Israel and i can't get it to work on my network. I tried to put in a friend's SIM from another network and it worked just fine, it's just my company's SIM that does not work -> the SIM is recognized, the device is looking for a signal but fails, and tells me that "No Service | Selected network (GOLAN T) unavailable"
My device is an xt1053
The network is Golan Telecom - (google that for the wikipedia page, xda wouldn't let me post the link cuz i'm a n00b)
I have no idea what could be done, i don't even know where to start looking up this problem, or what should i even be looking for...
Any sort of information that might be remotely helpful would be appreciated!
thanks in advance..
Try entering the APN data manually?

How do i do that? i didn't know that was even possible..
Have you checked what the network mode is set to? Try setting it to automatic.
Settings->Wireless& Networks>More->Mobile Networks

Thanks a lot mate, i did try that. Nothing.
Do you reckon it might be related to the rom installed? i mean, is there a chance that it would work if i install a custom rom?
It's also possible your network might be blocking the phone's IMEI and/or your SIM. Check your sim with another phone. If sim works then check with your network provider on the status the IMEI (and ask them to unblock it if it is indeed blocked by accident).
You can get the number in settings -> About phone -> Status or you can just dial *#06#

[Q] XT1060 showing "Mobile Network Not Available" after using Field Test mode.

[Q] XT1060 showing "Mobile Network Not Available" after using Field Test mode.
So I've been testing a mobile signal booster with different antennas, and decided to play around with Field Test mode to see how the different configurations and antenna placement were affecting my reception. Apparently I screwed something up while I was in there, because now I can only access LTE data, and when I try to make a call I get an error message box stating "Mobile Network Not Available" immediately after dialing a number.
I messed around with the bands and preferred network settings and sorta got the phone working again, but now it's showing "Extended Network" when it used to always show "Verizon Wireless" so I'm looking for someone who can show me exactly what the preferred network and band settings should be to get things back to normal.
1. Install AnyCut
2. Create new shortcut for an activity.
3. Scroll way down the list and select "Testing"
This shortcut will launch the field test app. Launch it, and select "Phone Information". I'm interested in what the "Set Preferred Network Type" option is set to by default. Where I think I screwed things up was in the 3 dot menu, I chose "Select Radio Band" and picked "USA Band" The only way I've been able to get it to make phone calls now is to select "Cellular" from that menu. Any insight would be much appreciated from anyone familiar with these field test settings.
After trying multiple factory resets with no luck I finally resolved this issue by reflashing the latest factory SBF with RSDLite and then restored my nandroid. Apparently when it updated the radio/modem it fixed whatever was messed up.

Thanks for the update. Do you have a link where one can download the latest factory SBF for our XT1060 Moto X?

Can't connect to network after flashing

This is my first post after being on here years and downloading many roms.
Last night, I was trying to redo my nexus 6 (T-Mobile) back to factory and then upgrade to the 6.0.1. One of the posts I had read had talked about installing the latest bootloader and radio. I did. Since then, I can't connect at all to T-mobile. I have tried factory restore, downloaded the Google image and installed, and tried numerous things. Everytime, everything appears to go fine until I boot up and can't connect to T-mobile at all. Tried going back to an old android version and radio and same thing. Rom boots and installs fine. No network. Hope some one has a fix for this and thank you in advance. Tried looking it up online and couldn't find anything that worked.

check your apn. if you booted, and alls running fine, then the rom isnt your problem. most likely your apn is wromg or missing info in it. that happened for everyone when marshmallow just came out.

I tried the T-Mobile APN settings listed here and on the internet. Wont even attempt to connect. It actually won't even let me choose outside of CDMA.

Meaning..I set my APN to what is on the internet for T-Mobile. No change. I cant select anything other than 3G and still won't connect and all that shows up is CDMA.

I agree. Nothing about this is making sense as to why I can't connect to T-mobile network and the only thing showing is CDMA. I have screwed up my phone before but always been able to fix it.
