Hi,
Have anyone ever tried using the Verizon Car mount with a non-Verizon G2 ?
Does it useable ?
Is it triggering Flip Cover Mode ?
Thanks All.
Edo.

Hey so I ordered a Verizon LG G2 off of eBay excellent condition clean esn because it was only $250 which is a a great price. So I read online that you can use it with T-Mobile because the phone is factory unlocked. Could you guys list the steps on setting up the Verizon LG G2 on T-Mobile? Thanks!

If you haven't rooted the iroot works flawless just have to remember when you plug it in choose internet then ethernet or it will not connect to adb correctly for the rsa. Trying to decide if I want to keep this phone or my s4. Button location is killing me but the knock on makes up for it. Love my galaxy though.
Dude, keep the G2. The specs blows the S4 out the water. And if you use custom roms on the G2, you'll see that phone's speed will be more likeable coming from the S4 (Such as myself). After a while, the button placement will just become muscle memory. Just give it a week or two.
I just bought a droid turbo for xmas which uses a nano sim card. I have sgs5 that uses micro sim card. What it the easiest way for me to switch from phone to phone using one sim card. I've watched videos on how to cut down my micro SIM and buy a adapter but I was wondering if there is another way. Please help.
Best way I would do it. Which I have already done. Get a new nano Sim from Verizon. Then use a adaptor to go to the larger size. I go between my turbo and my g2.

Ok, to just clarify. Go into Verizon and tell them I need a nano sim for my s5 and get a adaptor? Do Verizon sell the adaptors or do I need to get one off of Amazon? I'm wanting to keep the phone number associated with my gs5 which right now has the micro sim.
You can just call them, sometimes online chat will send one as well.
You will need to tell them you need it for your turbo. They won't give you a Sim that won't fit the phone you have.
Tell them you bought a turbo or any phone that uses the nano Sim(iphones use them)
Order the adapter off of amazon or somewhere else. When you have both use the adaptor to activate the Sim in your current phone, then switch as needed.
I have this problem to. I have a S4 and cant let my wife to let me have the my new Droid Turbo phone before Christmas day. So what I figure i will do is use a razor blade Christmas day of and cut it to fit. then on the 26th go in and get a new uncut sim for the turbo and then buy a adapter if for whatever reason i would need to go back the the S4.
I have been reading up on VoLTE and Verizon. So far, they are slow as molasses on updating phones with it. I am currently on a Nexus 6 and am trying to find information on VoLTE with Verizon on the Droid Turbo. Any devs know where the VoLTE packages are stored on the Droid Turbo phone? Is it a function of the SIM card? Is it a function of the ROM? A function of one of the .img files on the ROM specifically? Anyone know this information?
The reason this would be important is to understand how Verizon is implementing this feature to help expedite it for other phones.
The main problem is that you have to activate the device with Verizon on my Verizon, so there's something in their end they need for each model.

I understand that portion of what you describe, but I was hoping the devs would still be able to look into the update that was passed that activated Advance Calling 1.0 to see what images were changed. Has anyone tried this yet with the Droid Turbo?
So I have a T-Mobile V40 currently active on T-Mobile but is unlocked. I've tried it on AT&T without issue. I was hoping to use it as an LTE only device with Verizon, but can't get it to work at all. As background, I have a Verizon Prepaid SIM that works in my LG G7 ULM, Essential PH-1, and unlocked Note 9. When I put it in the V40 and go to the network selector it can see the Verizon tower, but simply won't connect to it. According to the specs the phone has all the Verizon LTE bands, anyone have any idea why it refuses to connect? I'm about to give up and put it on eBay.
Alternatively, is there a method yet to replace the T-Mobile ROM with the Unlocked one? Would that fix it?

It's the TMobile ROM that refuses to let the phone connect to the tower because the TMobile ROM also has firmware that has preprogrammed LTE bands for only T-Mobile and for roaming only. You would have to reflash a ROM that's not T-Mobile in order to get to work right. It's the firmware that controls the soc modem And dictates what the phone can and cannot connect to even if the phone is Sim unlocked.

I solved it by selling the V40 on Swappa and getting a Pixel 3XL instead.

I just got this v40 cause iPhones suck, was using a Nexus 6P for the longest and then my big cores finally died a friend gave me his old 7plus and then I got ahold of a used v40. I'm selling it once the pixel4 is launched.
