Been trying all day to get my Note 3 back to stock. I was rooted and safestrapped and accidentally re-installed my unrooted backup. Now every time I turn on my phone it stays on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 message then reboots into recovery. Please help! Right now im on the recovery screen I see K0T49H.N900AUCUCNC2 and the usual recovery options.

I'm in a similar state at the moment and I also have a thread posted about it. I'm trying to see what I can manage my self until someone answers. I work at a bestbuy so I'm going to see if our samsung guy can use his S.M.A.R.T. to reflash it if I don't have anything new by the time i get to work in the morning. I'll keep you posted if you want.
Just a quick update - This thread just worked for me. I'm by no means an expert but It's definitely worth a shot I think.

Firstly, this device has never been rooted or had anything flashed to it. It is completely stock.
My step-daughter has been having issues with her Droid 4. About a month back or so, she started noticing that it wouldn't boot. It would flash the Motorola logo, and then the screen would just hang on the bootanimation. Eventually if we rebooted (power+vol down) enough times it would boot up.
Last night however, this happened again and it would not boot at all. I tried rebooting many times and it would never get past the bootanimation. After about 20 or so reboots I figured it was time for a Factory Reset. After the reset however, it wouldn't even display the bootanimation. It would still display the Motorola splash screen, but after that the screen would just go black with the display is still on. I Factory Reset several more times and nothing. Eventually after a number of times rebooting, it finally booted up. Well that was yesterday. Today she had to reboot it and it wouldn't boot again. Would just hang on a black screen.
I'm about ready to send it back since it's still under warranty, but figured I would check here to see if any of the amazing XDA guru's had experienced this and found a solution. I searched Google and this forum and didn't really see anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Only other I can think to do would be to flash the fastboot files. A factory reset basically just wipes data while fastbooting it should reset the system itself to complete bone stock. You can do this using rsdlite or download a utility like jsnweitzel's ICS Only Utility in the Dev section.
Really sounds like a hardware issue to me since it's not rooted or anything but still might be worth a shot.

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I've downloaded jsnweitzel's ICS Only Utility and am charging up the phones battery so I can use it.
Just a quick question before I do this. I'm assuming that running the restore through ICS Only Utility is flashing a stock system image. That image is not rooted is it? Not that I would typically care, but if I do have to bring it back to Verizon I don't want them hassling me for rooting the device.

My wife's phone is completely stock, I have never rooted it or anything.
A couple of days ago, she started getting a strange notification with the android icon and something called Smith with the message that it is disabled. Her phone would reboot itself a couple of times a day and now it is stuck in a boot loop. The phone has been stuck in the loop for a couple of hours now, stopping on the white android screen for a second and shutting down, rinse and repeat.
I can get into recovery by ONLY holding down the volume key, which is kind of strange. I also cant select anything in recovery.
Any help would be appreciated, she is about to kill me and switch to an iPhone.

Follow the instructions here then. Be warned though, this will wipe everything, including internal storage.
The Smith file is some file that HTC put into the ROM that expired in mid-August. Ever since then, the app shows as expired when you reboot. Nothing you can really do about it if you are not rooted, but HTC is supposedly working on a fix that they will push via OTA.
However, it shouldn't be causing the bootloops as far as I know. If a factory reset doesn't work, then running the RUU is most likely the way to go.
Okay so i rooted my galaxy note 5 n920r4 after i got marshmallow it worked but most of the stuff i had wasnt working as it did before so me not thinking clearly tried to put the factory kernel into odin and i messed it up into a boot loop where all it shows was the galaxy logo i tried the unroot marshmallow n920r4 kernel it did finaly turn on and didnt turn into boot loop except it seems like a lot of essential things were deleated like google services samsung account was signed out of and it says touchwiz is not installed i dont know what to do the only thing i could think of was factory reseting gladly i did back up my photos but everything else will be a pain to do such as setting up my apps and sighning back into my accounts if anyone could please help me im still pretty knew at this. thank you!!

The only thing you can do is reflash back to stock using odin. If you want your phone working again. If it boot loops after flashing you will have to start your phone in recovery mode by pressing the volume up, home and power at the same time and doing a factory reset from recovery, but I have to warn you if you have to do a factory reset you will lose all your data. Such as photos, music etc.

Wipe Cache/Data and Factory Reset from recovery.
If not, then you can flash the stock firmware via Odin.
Hi, i'm kinda new to all of this, so literally any help is appreciated.
I recently rooted my S6, and managed to get it stuck in a boot loop on the Samsung screen, with the logo in the centre, slowly fading from light to dark repeatedly.
This happened when i accidentally logged out of my snapchat, causing it to detect my device was rooted and wouldn't let me log back in. I got around this by updating my superSU and disabling it as i logged into my snapchat. Once i was back into my snapchat i went to re enable superSU, but it failed the reinstall and prompted me to reboot, so i did, then ended up getting stuck at the boot screen for the past 3 hours.
I don't know if what i tried was right, or even helped or made the problem worse.
I have tried reinstalling the custom kernel, re flashing the superSU through recovery, using ODIN to flash the original OS but each time i tried it failed, i might be using the wrong firmware, not sure, but i have a SG920F and installed the firmware for that, but it failed when doing so. I also never had the chance to create a back up as my phone didn't have enough storage to do so... It's at the point where im happy to factory reset im just not sure what to do.
I'm genuinely sad that i messed this up, and managed to brick my phone already. If anyone can help please reply to this...
Thanks.

Ah! Didn't know this! Thanks, will download it now and use odin to get it back on my phone, will update here if it works or not!
Hello everyone. I have encountered something I don't understand. My note suddenly turned off and wouldn't restart. I thought maybe my battery was low so I plugged it in and it started. I decided to get a new battery and charged it up same thing was going on sometimes it would restart and be fine I was running stock rooted rom twrp recovery never dropped it never messed with it. Then since i was having trouble I took it to a cell repair shop. I could boot to download and twrp but when i tried to back up the rom it would get to about 2 percent and shutdown. The only way the phone stayed on is if i am in download or twrp but i couldn't do anything repair shop couldn't help either. I was desperately trying to save some data off the phone when i gave up I said ok i will reflash it all goes well in odin it reboots then says applying update but never gets past the boot farthest i have got is the tmobile screen. then it shuts down and keeps vibration and trying to restart only to shut down and do it all over again. so I am now stuck in a boot loop it seems not sure if that is accurate. I have no idea how to fix this any ideas anyone i have reflashed the latest rom twice and everything should be fine but it isnt. I am wondering what to do next I tried to flash twrp but it didnt take and also tried cf oneclick root didnt take either but odin says success and pass. I am at the end of my idea list and out of google searches no idea what to try next. So I have come to the one place i may find some help XDA. Thanks in advance
your phone partition got messed up you have to put TWRP back and then go in wipe and then you have to do file repairwhen you fix file then ran back the stock firmware which will fix bootloader
then go back install twrp and install custom rom with root

there is the list of stock firmware try them see which one works with twrp, you have to install twrp first so you can fix the problem using repair files in twrp

also read this for installing twrp on 910t

Befour flashing twrp make sure you uncheck Auto reboot....when it's done flashing pull your battery, put it back in the phone but don't power on....you want to boot right into recovery......then twrp will stick
