HI, I really hope someone can help or please give me some advice.
I just received my brand new tf701 today and straight from the box it will not turn on, I have tried charging the tablet for a few hours from the wall socket and it still will not switch on. I have also tried holding down the power and Vol down buttons but it is completely unresponsive.
the charging light on the tablet does come on red when I plug in the charger.
any advice on what I could try next would be much appreciated, thanks.

Been playing with my friends phone for bout an hour now, and i can't figure it out.
Here's the gist of whats going on.
1) It wont power on
2) When i plug it in to charge the indicator light is white.
I looked a a random forum an they had said something about the charger not being able to charged a wholly dead battery. Tried a few different chargers to no avail. Although he does have a tendency that i have admonished him about which is letting his phone completely die out.... jack wad. I would guess that the battery is shot and if that is not the case i do not know what else to advise him to do except tp get a new phone at this point.
Any help would be appreciated!!! thank you all very much!!!
You need to use a Motorola charger to bring it back

I have a new Motorola Atrix HD. I was using it and the screen went black. i hit the power button to unlock but nothing happened. i plugged it in but nothing happened. i took the back off to see if the battery was disconnected. I didn't know the battery was different than other phones and ripped the power cord connecting the battery to the phone when i took it out. lesson learned. Ordered a new battery and installed correctly. phone won't turn on. The green charge light blinks when i plug it into the wall and then stays on for about 20 seconds and then the phone tries to turn on but while the motorola icon is illuminated, it cuts back out and repeats the cycle. I left it plugged in for a couple hours and still the same thing. i tried holding in power and volume buttons for the boot screen. if i do that just as the phone attempts to turn on i can get the screen up and scroll the list of boot options with the power buttons but i can't select any of them and the phone cuts out after the same amount of time. Everytime. When i plug it into my laptop, the light blinks on and then stays on like with the wall, but the phone doesn't attempt to power up. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. i have read a lot of forums where the battery was acting up because of the chargers people were using. The difference between my situation and those of the people i read about is that my boot screen cuts out and cannot be used. This all happened 2 days after my exchange period ended and because i took the back off myself, best buy won't have anything to do with me so i'm on my own and cannot afford another phone right now. Thanks in advance for your time and concern.

Is it possible that the that connection between the power cord and the phone itself is loose or damaged? I'm just guessing here as I have never opened up the back of my phone.
I would check your battery terminals then leave it to charge if it does. You could also try a factory cable. Another thing would be to try fastboot while connected to your laptop and see if it stays on, and if it does, try reflashing all partitions.

Hi everyone ! I bought an xperia T two months ago, everything was perfect until this morning ! I was listenning to my music suddenly the phone turned off and when i tried to turn it on nothing happened ! I tried to hold the volume+ button and the power button but no vibrations or led light. I can't use flashtool because the phone can't boot on flashmode ! I plugged the phone on charge for several hours but nothing ! I really need some help because i can't send it back to sony !
Please guys i need help cuz i can't afford buying a new phone !
try pressing the power button while putting it on a charge. if it vibrates or a led comes it still is alive. If that doesnt work try a rubber band around the power button and then on the charge for 24 hours.

If its on charge get it off the charge and try vol+ and power button and hold it for a half minute till you feel vibrate. if you dont see the vibration.
If that doesnt work get it off the charge and try pressing power button and then put the usb in.
I keep coming back to these threads whenever my Experia T is acting up again. I finally bit the bullet and went the hardware way as described in a comment on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWox7kCygRE
"In the end I fixed this problem by removing the back cover (one screw in where the SIM card goes) and detaching the battery supply from the phone. After a minute or two I reattached the battery supply (its a little yellow tab beside where you plug in the charger) and put the cover back on, plugged into charger and it started charging as normal."
It's surprisingly simple, to be honest.

Hi,
my One Mini 2 is only slighlty vibrating on charger. It wont boot, no lights.
I also tried all possible solutions (holding down volume up + power, down + power, bothe + power for 2 mins, etc...) and asked google.
No info about the problem and no solution.
I really hope someone has a solution on this forum. Or is it dead?

you phone vibrates when you first turn it on. that's what happens to you now. But your battery its drained so nothing else appears and phone shuts down.
check you charger or cable. try others and check if pilot/charger light (red) its on. if nothing works may be your battery its gone. If still in warranty contact HTC
Hi kaviti,
thank you for your reply.
I am afraid that my problem description was missleading.
The phone vibrates the whole time when attached to anything (but not with same intensity as when it was ringing). I tried with original HTC chargers (3 of them), a car charger, Mac USB port and USB hub.
I have a bad feeling that it went into eternal hardware grounds where signal is always top and software has no bugs.....
