EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR KITKAT 4.4 UPDATE FROM MICROMAX ON ITS EXISTING DEVICES. BUT MICROMAX HAD NOT UPDATED MANY OF THERE PHONES VIA OTA.
Now a tweet by MMXNewscaster, a source of leaks related to Micromax mobiles, has claimed that the company is working on Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Canvas series smartphones. The tipster has revealed the model numbers of the Canvas smartphones, which include high-end as well as budget Android Canvas devices also.
BUT THE ETA WAS Q2. IT MEANS WITHIN JUNE 2014. BUT ON 2ND OF JULY I PERSONALLY ASKS MICROMAX ABOUT ANY UPDATE AND THEY SAYS ""NO"".
BUT ANOTHER SOURCE ALSO CLAIMS MICROMAX ARE BETA TESTING KITKAT FOR CANVAS 4. BUT STILL NO NOTIFICATION ON THAT BY MICROMAX.
SORRY GUYS FOR THE BAD NEWS.:crying::crying::crying:

Announced a few months ago (from semi-official sources) the Android 4.1/4.2 Jelly Bean availability on the ARCHOS G9 tablets is no more, as the vendor has mentioned yesterday on their Facebook that there won’t be any Jelly Bean update for the ARCHOS Gen9 devices
Ok but on XDA : Quinny899 is better : Android 4.2.2

Hi!
Someone knows why Motorola changed the text on the presentation page of Moto G (2nd Gen.)?
They said that Moto G 2nd Gen. would get the lollipop, but now they say that there is, at least, one software update of 4.4.x.
It makes no sense!

May be it is because the Moto G 2nd Gen users started annoying the Motorola Customer Care about Lollipop which is why they popped the Lollipop bubble with that message.
In other words they are probably saying, "Surprise users you aren't getting the Lollipop till mid 2015"
Nope that highlighted sentence still says we will get at least one update to the current KitKat that is already on the device, technically this could mean we could only get one update to say 4.4.5 (if that existed) but it means that we will get 5.0 (and hopefully another to 5.0.1 or higher to iron out all the bugs ).
Although I do see how you read it as it would get an update to 4.4.x, but it actually reads it will get at least one update from its starting point of 4.4.x.

Is this ROM still supported
YunOS is the crap OS from the Chinese company Yunos. It officially supports the N5, but has not updated since 2014.

you better look for MIUI if you like the unique style, or better look for the Mokee Rom.
Yeah, that is kind of what they are mimicing, but it is completely incompatible with many apps and xposed. It is an os designed by alibaba off of AOSP, but they deny it. My wife had a phone for about a day that was a pure yun phone. About a day 'til I bricked it . Still not sure why in China many think the iOS look is cool.
whe is support for this phone... can we make nougat or oreo ports for LG flex?
I think that is totally possible to port this phone for android oreo using Lineage 15 system OS... but we need to read a lot about how to port it and I unfortunately think that we dont have a lot of developer using this phone... even less using L23 AU.. so it is so SAD! A great phone with a great power processor running an Android so OLD! = (
We have to try to port lineage 14 - Android 7.1 (from LG G2) for our device!! It has the same hardware!!

I love my LG G Flex. Had to retire it. The OS was old a lot of media providers apps woludn't run. And the rooting process was so convoluted. I've rooted many phones before it & this was among the worst.
I'd love to have a better root method & a N, O or P stable ROM.
