[Q] SuperCIDing from Sprint to Verizon - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Since Verizon is CDMA, would using SuperCID to write a Verizon CID allow me to flash a Verizon ROM?

How would I go about doing this? Do I need to flash a Verizon RUU or custom recovery?

First off, why do you want to do this?
Second, flashing ROMs/Recoveries/Kernels for a different device will not work and can possiblly hard or soft brick your device.
Thirdly, If you want to use the Sprint Phone on Verizon that's a tottoally different issue than flashing a Verizon One ROM.
So in short, Do Not Do It.

Alright, thanks for the reply. Just thought that it was possible due to both carriers being CDMA

Follow the guide posted above. After unlocking it you might have issue when connecting to other carrier s network so be sure they are using compatible frequencies. I'm almost sure you will not be able to connect it to any other CDMA carrier. Normally CDMA carriers will not accept a phone on their network if not sold by them.
Next time if you are planning to switch carriers, buy a gsm phone, much easier! even with a locked gsm phone, you'll only need to sim-unlock the phone with a purchased code then put in any gsm sim card.
Sorry I can't help you more, I'm not familiar with the WLS variant.

As long as your not changing the firmware of the phone. But I presume that you're looking to 'convert' to a Verizon phone. I believe there is some hardware change between the devices and I wouldn't recommend it.

Actually NO! i'm not planning to covert it to VZW only need to flash VZW rom from recovery and successfully boot it.
Why?because i want to make some changes in the NV items, and as i saw Verizon Roms are not write protected.
So is this action can harm my device or not? and how to make it to do successful boot?

Ok. No worries. Give it a go and it should work right off the bat. I don't see why it wouldn't if it's just the rom.

Flash twrp
Flash supersu
Soff
Change cid and mid to T-Mobile
Run T-Mobile ruu
And eject it to work?

No. the Sprint phone and Tmobile phone are totally different. You will screw up your partitions if you try changing you CID/MID and running the TMO RUU.
Why are you doing this, may I ask? Why not just SIM unlock and use the phone on TMO's network?

Really? I've heard people were able to use this phone on Tmobile. In fact, I was going to do that. I talked to a TMO rep, and she said there shouldn't be an issue.

Software Question

Is it possible to flash a different version of the software on the T-Mobile M9. I unknowingly bought the Tmobile M9 and would like to install the unlocked / developer M9 software over it. I hate the Tmobile logo and noise at bootup.
Yeah, download any m9 gsm ROM and flash via twrp

Are there any that have it working? I've tried viper and insert coin and both have it in settings, but the feature itself seems to not work at all, as it never activates.

I don't know of any, but at one time @LeeDroid was going to try to get it working. However, he had a setback with carrier support, and he has had to put it on the back burner for now.

Go to this thread [http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-one-m9/general/please-read-rooting-using-twrp-t3069022]. There you will find all the tools you need to return your M9 to stock, so that you can take an OTA. @Rydah805 has put that thread together, and it will give you all the information you could possibly need.

Hi, I am trying to convert to Tmobile. I bought Verizon M9 because I got a good deal on it and thought since they are unlocked I could just put my SIM in and be working right away. I can make calls and text message and use internet after adding the APN. But I can't get the hotspot to work, hate the Unknown SIM notification and all the VZN apps. To get my phone as close to Tmo as possible would I just have to follow Captain_Throwback's guide and then flash a Tmo rom, or restore a backup, or RUU? Sorry for the noob question

I didn't think you could use a Verizon phone on a GSM carrier network, but if you can that's cool. If your phone is working on the T-Mobile network you can unlock the bootloader and root to install a T-Mobile rom, but you will have to check with the Sunshine thread to see if they have it working on Verizon M9's yet. If they do you can S-OFF, and install T-Mobile firmware and rom. Keep me posted on how you do.

Hello
I have S-OF,unlocked bootloader,root and latest software
I try to install RUU EU signed, but all the time an error occurred.
Perhaps because of the CID? Maybe we should change the CID?
I need help please

Relocking the bootloader shouldn't be necessary to run a RUU. I didn't need to.

Ok
The problem now solved
1. S-Off
2. Bootloader unlocked
3. Changed CID to one of CIDs of RUU
4. Flash RUU signed EU
Thanks for your help!

I have outright bought my phone from AT&T and is now unlocked

Can I change the rom on the phone if I wanted to without being tied to AT&T? can I download something via odin3 to make it any other ROM other than AT&T? I hope I have NOT confused the issue.
Many thanks for taking the time to answer.

No. You are carrier unlocked so you can use another carriers sim. You are not bootloader unlocked, so no custom recovery or ROMs.
