Looking for Bloatware apps for C6602/3 - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there!
Im using a SlimKat 4.4.4 on my Z and im wondering cause i miss them alot :/ Where can i find latest Gallery/Album Wlakman Video apps? any ideas where i can download them im getting sick of Yuga's gallery :/ looks so ugly V_V or is there an APK that allows us to download all Sony bloat stuff by 1 click? Please help or at least gimme a link for all apps if finding them by single is difficult.

Most of them won't work on anything but stock based roms. Look in the themes and apps section for downloads if you want to confirm this for yourself.

(Re)Installing Stock Apps - can it be done?

Hey guys,
Just installed Paragon 5.1 on my phone, and had a question...how do I reinstall stock apps? I really liked Samsung IM that shipped on the Rogers ROM, for instance - however when I try to run it after having "reinstalled" it (moved the apk to /system/app) it just says that the Seven service is unavailable. Is there an easy way to reinstall these apps on a custom ROM? Or am I outta luck?
PS. I tried searching the forums first, but searching causes an FC on my phone for some reason.
Thanks!

Actually, you seem to be in luck. In the themes & apps thread, Trusselo posted the deodexed versions of those .apk's. You should be able to drop the seven.apk in your ROM and have it work again. Here's the link to the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960269

Ice Cream Sandwich (Galaxy Nexus) System App Dump

Anybody had a look at this?
http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/...am-sandwich-galaxy-nexus-system-app-dump.html
Wonder which ones could work on our nexus s! Not time to test now though.
Nice find!
This has been posted like everywhere.
They can't be used on the NS or any other device not running ICS unless someone finds a way to backport them.

Say that to the G2. Sure the touchscreen isn't working yet, but atleast it's running.
Some of the apps will install like earth and maps...all of the others come up with a parsing error. Is there enough in the SDK and this app dump for devs to start coming up with some alpha ics roms?

it's ok?

So how would I go about installing these apps? I used titanium to uninstall News and Weather (geniewidget.apk) but when I go to install the one from the zip, it says "Application not installed"
They are system apps so you have to push them through ADB or an app like root explorer to the system/app directory.

can anyone confirm the geniewidget is working?

app compatibility

Hello,
I have played a bit with a GS4 in a store and found out that the stock calendar app (SPlanner it is called I think) was great. Hence, is it possible to download this app and install it on my HTC One with stock ROM ? Or are the apps only compatible with Galaxy S4 ?
thank you

From what I've seen all the Sx (Snote, Splanner, Setc.) apps are only compatible with samsung devices. Wouldn't hurt to try though.
Well i found an apk but it says it failed to install on my hTC One.... How is this possible ?

The majority of the vendor specific apps rely very heavily on the framework that the vendors install on their ROMs. That's why you can't just pull out individual apps very easily.
Ok undersood thank you. now, does anyone know what i could do to instal this specific SPlanner app (the S4 calendar app) on my Htc One ?
Thankyou very much
Buddy, you must ask this question to HTC one thread -> here
Ok sorry. I'll just go down and get the S4 lol !

App Ops for Stock Rom w/o Root

Are there any available mods to make App Ops available for the Xperia Z without rooting? As far as I know it is easily available when rooted but I would prefer if there was another way to have App Ops.
Thanks

I don't think so.
If you want App Ops:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2564865&page=11
It doen't work now, the dev is working on it
Or you install Xposed Framwork and install XPrivacy. Maybe you will get lucky with this also.

Stock 5.1.1 Home APK

Hello!
I've debloated my stock ROM a while ago and I've stripped it to the bone. Now I need back the original LP 5.1.1 Home apk + any lib files if there are any, for theme development and I don't want to go back to reflashing stock rom, root process + debloating etc.
Could anyone please upload it here? I've searched it on the net, I found a few versions on apk mirror I think, but those were only apk clones, maybe maleware.
I've asked this also on the general forum but nobody answers
It's small things like this that makes me wonder why did I choose Sony and not Sammy or HTC. People on their forum are so much friendlier and helpful. On Sony forum there's only silence..
just download a stock rom andbpick it out of the .zip
1st: Wrong place for your question.
2nd: Apk Mirror NEVER provides malware.
3rd: Latest stock home-release.apk for Lollipop, compatible with Serajr's Xposed module is 9.0.A.0.9.
4th: Your link: https://mega.nz/#!QBdBnbrb!21sGXPP-9Ji5yVXMt9dXQPDCioi0fFf6XOvJqJ5rrZU
And now hurry up, until a mod see this.

uhhh maybe the silence is because th is device isnpretty old and most of the devs moved on to newer devices
