HELP: stuck on samsung logo even after restock. - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have this problem with my P1000.
I did a restore from a backup with TWRP but on startup hangs on SAMSUNG logo.
The same backup I had restored a few days ago without any problems.
I tried to make the restock with Heimdall but continues to hang on Samsung logo.
I can only start it in download mode.
How can I fix?

Couldn't you just flash a stock rom from samsung from download mode?
Use odin of course.

I tried reinstalling the stock rom with odin, same problem, stuck on the Samsung logo.
I used the stock rom GB.

What was your initial problem that makes you want to restore?
Something that is due to application won't install or data that don't go away?
Maybe you have a broken NAND.

I had no particular problems, I had installed the rom OmniRom 0703 but I wanted go back to 0626 because I was working better.
My fear is that it is a broken NAND.

Is yours P1 or P1L/N ?

P1

I think I once has similar thing. Restock has no error but didn't boot. I don't care though. I only need the restock step to get my repartitioning.
So I continue with odin, putting the cwm kernel (in my case overcome 4.0).
Then using it to flash the custom rom.

I tried to install the kernel overcome 4.0 after the restock but continues to remain stuck on the Samsung logo, even if I try to reboot into recovery.
I'm no longer even sure how much the battery is charged, is charged even if the indicator is stuck?

I have made several tests, always with the same result, stuck on the Samsung logo.
I tried installing different versions of the stock rom, the kernel Overcome 4, the kernel CM11.
I've used both Odin and Heimdall.
I also read how to install roms on the external SD but in all cases it is necessary to reboot into recovery mode which to me does not work.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to solve my problem?
The boot loader can be damaged? Where can I find the original boot loader?
How can I check if they are damaged MoviNAND or OneNAND?

Did you performed Full Wipe on ICS Stock Rom ? If so then its unfortunate to say your note might be bricked.
I advise u stop flashing stuff when you clearly don't know what your doing.

It is not a good sign. Looks like a case of superbrick to me due to emmc bug. Probably will need repartition with custom pit or adb.

+1, you're bricked. Either repartition or claim replacement motherboard.

I wonder why people come here after damaging the device instead of before...
I don't even buy a device before reading a lot about it here in xda..

Hi guys,
I normally try and work this stuff out for myself (as you can tell by my join date and my post count) but this has me stumped..
I was attempting to change ICS rome and somewhere in the process something went wrong...
After many unsuccessful attempts of flashing, stock ICS & GB, Abyss.. I checked the partions for errors and found the actual size of p-10 was different than the reported size by 1kb.
So, tried the e2fsck fix- it reported that it had corrected some errors.. I tried flashing again and agin- no success.
I then deleted the partitions, recreated them and reformatted in CWM. ADB reports no errors on any partition. When I try to load an ICS rom, it installs then hangs when it gets to the screen where you select the language.
I can successfully install a GB rom, but after a couple of minutes I start getting errors- then the affected app closes.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Which ics rom were you on originally before you tried flashing to which ics rom? Did you perform any wipes while on ics? Does sound like you have a good understanding of emmc bug and partitioning so forgive me if this all seems mundane.

Download emmc app from market and perform a memory test... Get a rooted gb rom as it needs root access.. And skip all kinds of setup at startup once you flash the gb(rooted) rom

I was on N7000XXLRB, Kernel Version 3.0.15-N7000XXLRG, and Build number IMM76D.XXLRG. Tried to go to AlBa rom, flashed Abyss, wiped cache/data in the CWM recovery and flashed the rom in CWM recovery...
I can successfully flash a stock GB rom with PC Odin, but it hangs on the boot screen( so I can't install dmmc test).
I have tried everything I can think of, just waiting on a jig to come in the mail so I can reset my counter for warranty
If you find a solution please post it.
I think i have the same problem. I posted it in general ( can anybody move it over here? I think this was wrong. Sorry i panicked. )
It's called permantly rebooting after flashing cm9.
I pledge for a solution.

[Q] Failed downgrading from ICS leak, no charging, bootloop after flashing GB PC Odin

Hi!
So i figured i wanted to get of the faulty ics leak in order to keep my phone safe, but it seems I was able to do the exact oppsite...
I will try to make a detailed overview of what I did, here we go.
I was using Stunner on CLP5. Followed this guide to do the downgrade:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr3DDEh8vyc&list=UUlVIlK8QHZ2PFkXF97bA0lg&index=5&feature=plcp
What i did:
Flashed the Abyss kernel - rebooted
Wiped with the new recovery
Flashed rocketrom
Got stuck on bootloop. (I should've probably done another wipe here, am i right? )
After flashing Rocketrom, I once again got a new recovery, I figured I was on a safe kernel and recovery now so instead of trying wiping or a different rom, I was stupid enough to do a restore of a backup of a stock rom with root I had from December when i bought the phone.
This made everything even worse, my battery drained and I was unable to charge my phone through USB or 220v. Luckily I got my friend to charge my battery (same phone)
Booting up my phone agian, I was no longer able to acess recovery, but I still had acess to Download mode.
I flashed a stock GB rom successfully through PC Odin, and yet AGIAN I was stuck at bootloop. The file I flashed was a single .tar file. I didn't select update bootloader, should i try this? maybe re-ptartitioning?
I still have acess to download mode.
Has anyone got a clue how to fix this mess?
Thanks for all replies!

Please, pit partitioning seems to get thrown out there like smarties but imo should only ever be used as a very last resort as a lot can go wrong.
Have you tried wiping cache and dalvik? Sorts out reboots 99 percent of the time.

Help required, note booting but not able to go to home

I was on cm9 latest build and wanted to try cm10 preview. so, I went into recovery to take backup with the latest 6.0.9 cwm but back up failed and later on I was on not able to see my sdcard and emmc in the recovery. when I tried booting the phone, it was infinately stuck on samsung boot logo.
I updated to stock firmware using pc odin and use repartition using pit file. odin update was completed successfully and the phone got past the samsung boot logo and after that its pretty much stuck on that and no home screen is loaded.
Can any one provide their inputs on how do I bring my note to life.

Yes, it was full stock including kernel (DDLP4 Indian version). it seems there is some problem in emmc. Through stock recovery also I am not able to see internal memory or sdcard.
Right direction for me was to go to service center and claim warranty and I did that.

Galaxy S stuck on custom rom logo

HI, so recently i brought a galaxy s gt i9000. I wanted to flash a custom rom so I install cwm and now have root access. problem is whenever i try to install a custom rom it shows the bar for installation in CWM and then goes to the custom rom logo. It does nothing else whatsoever after that. I need to take out my battery and restore my backup in order to get my phone working again from a bootloop. i tried putting the rom in both my external sd card and the phone itself. Also before installing i wiped the dalvik cache etc. Can someone please help, i've tried multiple roms so its obviously my phone. thanks

Running JW4 firmware

i9000 stucks in logo because your phone is not acessing internel memory...i have also got this problem..i dont have any solution..one thing u can do is that take your phone in download mode for 2 to 3 minutes approximately and then again on your phone ...this will work...But this problem comes again when u shutdown your mobile..another method is to take your i9000 in download mode and connect to computer and then download dbdata.rfs file put in odin in pda and apply ...these two processess will definately work fine to acess your internal memory

Just a few questions regarding how you installed the rom.
1.) What rom, first of all?
2.) After rooting 2.3.6 and trying to flash through recovery, did the phone skip to the kernel screen before continuously bootlooping?
3.) Did you try pulling your battery, then putting it back in, entering recovery and flashing the same rom again?

Be aware of 4.4.2 I9295XXUCNE4_I9295NEECNE4_NEE

I was unlucky to install I9295XXUCNE4_I9295NEECNE4_NEE this stock ROM.
But when i used The Stock ROM i was very slow - Go figure
So then i decided to Go back to
Tried to flash using Odin:
I9295XXUBML3_I9295NEEBNA2_NEE
and
I9295XXUBML2_I9295OJVBMK1_XFU
This was a no go due some kind Auth - error when flashing....
Then i Tried flashing the new I9295XXUCNE4_I9295NEECNE4_NEE with success
Now it get stuck at the samsung logo -
I have read somewhere that i need a new or older PIT file - to get out of this hassle!
Is this true?
My phone is a GT-I9295 int.
Any help is much apriciated
When you stuck at Samsung logo, you have to load phone in recovery mode and do all wipes. After it your phone has to load OK. Each time when I install stock via Odin my phone doesn't boot without wipes.
