[Q] Xperia Soul and Prime HD made my phone just a brick :|

Hi,
I had Prime HD 9 on my X8 with stock kernel. I took a backup from my device with CWM 4 and then I had installed the last version of Xperia Soul rom by FoRRoX by a zip file. finally I didn't like it and decided to restore my previous rom, but I had forget to format Data and Cache before restoring. So, after that my phone sucks at startup Sony Ericsson logo and I cannot do anything with that and my device doesn't charge.
I don't know what is the reason and that isn't my first time that I change my rom and I don't know what I can do? I have tried to flash my phone with Androxyde Flash Tool, but I couldn't find a .ftf firmware. Can you help me about this problem ??

Thanks guys. Ihave flashed my phone with 2.1.1.A.0.6_Baseband_15 and it shows that flashing process is complete, but my phone sucks in logo again. I have attached Flash Tool log. So can you help me that where is the problem and what I should do after flashing process? Thanks again.

hmm it's a long time i haven't used flash tool so i can't remember exactly. you can read this thread and do it step by step: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481630
remember to install flashtool drivers.exe in the drivers folder. good luck!!!

My karbonn sparkle v is dead/breaked.
I i was on cm12.1, then i thought of flashing the factroy firmware 4.4.4 .
Accordingly i flashed the stock firmware with sp flash tools. At, first it was stuck for a long time then i removed the usb flashed again with the battery on.
The flashing was ok "download ok" but my phone doesn't switch on and is completely dead. I flashed many times with download ok status but still my phone is dead.
I'm in urgent need of the guidance of the expert developers so that i can unbrick my phone. I'm phone-less now.

did you tried different firmware? Can you go to the recovery? Or even to fastboot?

I had exactly the same problem. even my phone was dead for a day, the problem was that i was using older version of sp flash tools
please check if you are using correct version of sp flash tools.
download sp flash tools, drivers and firmware from moulinsky website.

Try to use a different version of SP flash tools. Also try to flash a different ROM. OR TRY THIS >>>> Just download the official firmware and copy all the image files in the adb/fastboot folder and flash them one by one. secro.img may not flash. You will have your phone up and running but IMEI may be invalid. So there is a thread which tells you to make "mp0b_001" file which carries IMEI and just copy-paste and restarting will do the job. These can be the steps easily followed by a noob (like me ) This will fix your phone or atleast Android one phones. Good luck.

can u access fastboot or recovery

Use lastest version of sp tool & solve the problm.. I was also face that issue..

I used different ( latest ) SP flash tools , mmx lollipop Stock and I was fixed.. thank you so much. even the service centre had given up I had no hope and went to local repair shop.. He open my opened my phone and said hardware problem ( warranty void) but could repair the phone... F**k the bastard. NOw it cause of of you I have my phone back.. Thank you so much

i have done Format All + Download using sp flash tool afterwards phone not booting not showing charging but recognised with sp flash tool... flashing is successful with its stock firmware but phone not booting please help me

And more, what custom recovery you have in your mobile...if cwm or twrp then did you backed up before flashing ?... You just mentioned you had backed your rom with miracle box so google for procedure to restore the same

At this time you must be patient, read every related thread posted in this forum, if your phone detected via pc and even giving connecting sound via proper cable then in any case it will boot, load proper adb drivers, sp flash tool, firmware etc...I already given a link of thread to you in my above post for your help,...did u read it? And remember one thing , sprout never be dead :good: keep on doing things with deep study of related threads :good:

Before I proceed further, the first thing you must do
Is to back up your present Rom (100%) with Droid tool
And SP FLASH TOOL if you haven't bricked the phone yet.
THIS ROM CAN ONLY BE INSTALLED WITH SP FLASH TOOL
HOW TO INSTALL
First, you need a PC, Mediatek VCOM USB Drivers and SP Flash tool
Do a backup incase things go wrong
Download the stock Rom and extract the zip
Open the folder and check for MT6580_Android_scatter.txt (Infinix ROM scatter file has 23 partitions while Android one scatter file has 28 partitions, open with text editor and confirm before flashing)
Open SP FLASH TOOL as administrator
Click on scatter loading and load the scatter file above
Select download and choose sub options of download only or firmware upgrade from
The drop down option under the download had these following options:
Download only: use this option when you are flashing the same type of ROM that is in your phone. Use this option for also flashing recovery or if you want to flash select partitions only
Firmware upgrade: Use this option when you are about to a different ROM from the one in your phone e.g. if you're using Android one ROM and want to flash infinix ROM or vise versa. Note; to use firmware upgrade option, every partition must be selected. You can also use this option on partially bricked phones.
Format All and download: this option should only be used for fully bricked phones
Click on the download icon when you are ready
Power down your phone, connect quality usb chord to your phone first. Keep
The phone in a place where it won't shake. Connect it to your PC. If you correctly
INSTALLED Mediatek VCOM USB DRIVERS it will detect and install the ROM.
Developers needed
Developers are also needed to help out as all my efforts to port custom recovery
Have proved abortive as it seems that the recovery image is protected. I've attached all the image in the ROM so please use the image to see if you can unpack them and create a custom recovery at least.
ABOUT THE ROM
Please make sure that your phone model is X510 to avoid bricking your phone
The infinix Rom is more of AOSP than pure Google that came with my X510
It has more features than the out of Box Rom that came with my phone.
"Ok Google" doesn't work from from the home screen you have to tap the search
Bar and say OK Google.
It has better battery optimisation about 30-40%
It can work for any most African regions and beyond.
I've also added the Android one stock firmware in incase you want to go back to out of the box Google stock Android one firmware. This is necessary because it's from this stock firmware that you can update to Marshmallow 6.0 once the roll out starts for 2nd generation Android one phones

I've been a bit busy on other things but still searching
For a way to get a custom recovery. The mail challenge
Is the fact that MTK Droid Tools (latest version) can not create a
Scatter file for this phone as MT6580 is not yet
Compatible with it. Am still working with the scatter
File from this Rom but haven't gotten the breakthrough
Yet.
Once I get a break through I'll upload it here.

I have a weird problem with Infinix Hot 2 the phone after installing the ROM on infinix website the Android one ROM the volume buttons not working in the bootloader that' only mean the device can only boot normally and can't boot into recovery or bootloader using buttons

Make sure you closed the back casing well.
Reflash the rom with the newest version of SP FLASH TOOL
Reflash it using "firmware upgrade"
If the problem persists, reinstall VCOM USB Drivers
Try another port/usb cable
And make sure the phone don't even shake while
Flashing

the phone is working normally and volume button is working in the normal mode as a volume button and I tried everything still couldn't get to boot into recovery from the buttons
I have to use adb reboot recovery from PC
one thing is interesting enough is if I flash the infinix skinned ROM not the stock Android one I can boot in recovery using power+volume up but still I can't boot into bootloader
It's most probably the ROM but which part of the ROM is broken I don't know

That's the same link from Infinix website and that's the only ROM available for Android one. and since we can't create a scatter file from a fully working device so we won't be able to extract the preloader and flash it on any other phone .. by the way if you have the phone is yours booting into recovery and bootloader using buttons ?

Android one hard brick

Unfortunately i was playing and mistakenly flashed yu yuphoria's rom on mmx canvas a1 aka aq4501...then my phone wasnt turning on.. I performed stock lp flash via sp flash tool.. Still no improvement.. So i though maybe PRELOADER.BIN got exchanged.. So i performed a format using sp flash tool.. Then reflashed stock lp... Still no improvement.. I lost PMT, PRELOADER.BIN .. As my phone isnt turning on so i cant boot into recovery or bootloader.. Actually its hard bricked i guess.. So i need help, how can i solve it... Or i will need a MTK backup for aq4501 included preloader and pmt.. Help me plz

STOCK ROM - NOKIA 1 TA-1056 MT6737m

Hi guys, Guys I HAVE MANAGED TO SETUP SP FLASHTOOL
Downloaded a so called STOCK ROM from online and Flashed with a clean FORMAT + DOWNLOAD then got BRICKED with NO SCREEN LIGHTING, just a single tap vibration continues with an interval of 2-3 seconds. Which shows us that it wasn't the exact rom. So I tried another link from another site, still NO CHANGE at all...
So All I need is a working rom for my NOKIA 1 TA 1056 MT 6737M. Please help me source a genuine one. PLEASE :crying::crying:

First of all, NEVER PERFORM FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD without backup unless you know what you're doing.
FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD will lose your SN and IMEI, which is not a good sign.

Can anyone please tell how can i flash Stock rom to Nokia 1 TA-1056 by sp tool. In there i am unable to connect my phone. My phone is booting in stock recovery mode everytime when i boot my phone on charging and without charging display is black
