Hi All,
I have a Chinese version of the Note GT-19220, It has ICS on it but is missing Google Play so have tried to flash a new western version of ICS using Odin PC
I have followed the instructions exactly as described and I get a fail almost at the end of the process.
Now I get a picture of a phone and a yellow triangle and a monitor and below it is says Software Update failed.
The message I see in Odin is:

Have you tried flashing stock rom of the Chinese version of the Note GT-19220?
Since you have the chine i9220 then make sure you get the specific roms for the chinese version. If you try flashing the N7000 roms you may get this error or may brick it so just be careful.

OK here we go, I'm no idiot, I've been flashing phones etc for a good couple of years, consider myself excellent as a computer user, was a repair technician.
With that out the way;
I downloaded a 4.2 BETA for my Galaxy s3 mini, used Odin to try and flash it and received "<ID:0/008> Complete(Write) operation failed." first time, no other errors.
Phone has usb debugging enabled.
Do I tried again, same thing. Then tried once more, and received;
<ID:0/008> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/008>
<ID:0/008> There is no PIT partition.
Now as far as I know, one should only get this error when a re-partition has gone wrong. I did NOT check the re-partition option.
So having a read around, I saw someone had posted a .pit file for my phone, so went to use this, and now this is my error;
<ID:0/008> Odin v.3 engine (ID:8)..

Oh and trying to start the phone normally, mostly just hangs at the Samsung logo, though when trying a hard reset, it would hang at a spinning "wheel", which in itself was stuck.
Many thanks

Try this PARAM or I8190N PIT file I presume you're phone is NFC version. Find them here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159660 use the PARAM as PDA in Odin first.

Hi everybody,
I'm needed some help, I bought T715 and it was delivered with XEZ firmware and I have the idea to flash it with XEF firmware (to have everything ok with my french carrier).
I remember that on my old samy device I'd never expect troubles to flash ROM with different CSC.
Maybe that thing change...
After using Odin 3.10.7 (6 too) it's fail (I download official firmware on sammobile):

You don't need to flash hidden.img.
Remove it from the firmware then flash again.
Well done, thanks for your help!
