What version of CM do you want to run? Once I know that I can point you to a guide to install to SD.

I am a noob with the nook color but somewhat experienced with Android. I can do custom roms and all. I have a nook to Android card but it doesn't run very smoothly. I want to run CM7 our CM9 internally but still need the nook OS. Is there a way to run nook OS from an SD card. If it could have a dual boot interface like nook to Android that would be a plus, but not a requirement. Again, I do not want to dual boot internally. I want to run only CM7 internally and run nook OS from an SD card.

First you have to have an SD-card that is suitable to run the OS from. Apparently it doesn't depend on the read and write speed(class) but the block size. You can read more here.

hello everyone,
I think I saw someone (forgot who) who is using a 64GB micro SD card for his SGS - however, when I tried one, I cannot seem to make it work (getting an error in the notification bar) even if I tried formatting the card.
Does anyone know how I can make a 64 GB micro SD work for my SGS? Or is it even possible to make it work? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi
Please help.
My Tablet I updated to jelly bean with the CyanogenMod which went fine of which I liked very much but could not get the USB working which I found out that it was a fault with that Mod so I went through the procedure of putting the backup on the tablet which went wrong .I am now stuck with a Tablet which is now useless,I have been reading this forum and they keep talking about Overcome Rom but I have difficulty getting to the Tablet memory to put the software in. I am 70 years old so please I would love some help
It is best to get a cheap sd card, be it 2GB. And a card reader/writer.

I just got a 64gb class 10 extreme SDXC. Super fast, but I can't seem to find it when I go into safestrap recovery. Anyone know if I need to repartition it differently so that it will work?

[QDoes anyone know if formating the SDXC to Fat32 slows it down that exFat?
Slower, no. File size limitations, yes.
Is it possible to install CM 10.2 on SD card for Nook HD?. i would like to run CM off SD card without touching the stock rom.
I have seen a few very old threads with older versions of CM and thought there maybe a easy way to accomplish this task?
perhaps a img file that i can burn to SD card and boot?
TIA

Go to this thread. It still works:

The only problem is it is CM10.1, not CM10.2. The author promised a CM10.2 version for the HD but did not deliver.

Thank you for the link leap. I think i saw that one and noticed it was 10.1 and that the builds are not "official" CM builds
I thought it maybe possible to burn one of that official builds to SD card and boot of it..
TIA
