I was finally running Odin correctly and set my phone down and the battery dislodged. I went to put the battery back in and I can't even get the phone to turn on now.
Any help would be appreciated.
What happens when you plug the phone in to the power outlet. ..

Nothing. Just a black screen. Still just a black screen if I hold power and both volume buttons to try and enter recovery. Same with holding both volume buttons and trying to enter download mode.
I don't know much about these phones like some people here but my phone was bricked and i used the jig method it took me the download mode

Yep. I think a USB Jig is your best bet right now.
Hello everyone!
I have a serious problem with my Wi-Fi Only Galaxy Tab. It came with Froyo out of the box and I tried installing GB via ODIN but in the middle of the process, my computer turned off because of a blackout and my tablet was in download mode with the big "DO NOT TURN OFF" warning. The process wouldn't resume after I got my computer back on and I had to turn off the Tab. The problem is that now it won't turn on, when I press the power button (long enough, about 10 seconds) the LCD turns on in black and if I let go of the power button it goes back off. Tried connecting to the PC but nothing happens, tried charging for more than 4 hours and still got nothing.
HELP PLEASE!

So to get this straight... you cant go into downloading mode or recovery? Even if it doesnt display it on the tab... try holding power and volume down while odin is open (reinstall the drivers too) If that doesnt work then I believe you sir have a hard brick and have messed up your bootloader. If that's the case i just saw a post about a service that fixes them for 50$ somewhere on the gt7 forums...
Just go to download mode again and reflash. Don't forget about battery.

I recently got a galaxy tab p1000 from a friend of mine, said nobody has been using it in the past 5 months. It was still in the box, with the cable and power adapter. So i go home to try it out and it doesn't power up, i though battery might be dead but charged it over night and still wont turn on, no back light, nothing. I made sure the adapter is working on another tablet and it is. I tried holding power button for 2 mintues. I tried volume down and power button(releasing volume down after time), also with volume up. I tried holding power while finger is on screen. I have no idea what android version its running. Anybody know how i can get this working?
Have you tried opening the recovery?
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
By opening recovery you mean holding the volume up and and power button then yes. I tried opening it and removing the battery, no luck. The thing virtually has no power, back light wont turn on, windows doesn't even detect its connected.

Hi
I have a Galaxy Note One N7000 on Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone when plugged in overnight somehow got stuck in a boot loop showing the Samsung G7000 screen followed by the Samsung Logo. I had not updated the OS and the phone had just been plugged in for charging.
I turned the phone off, held down the Power>Home>Vol Down keys and it gave me the message about downloading other OS's so I cancelled that.
The I held down the Power>Home>Vol Up keys which then brought up the image of the Android man with the blue rotating pattern in his middle.
After some minutes this disappeared and the phone started to boot. This time the phone stayed on the first Samsung G7000 screen permanently. So I pulled the battery and tried again with holding down the Power>Home>Vol Up keys and the phone went through the same sequence.
Tried this a third time and the phone then failed to turn on after the Android man disappeared.
Now the phone is dead and will not turn on. I have three batteries and they are all charged via a desktop charger so I know they are OK, so its not the battery.
Has anybody got any suggestions?
:crying:

I have HTC One I bought it from ebay, the problem is not turning on and not charging either, it did try to turn on once when it was plugged in to my PC but screen showed up for brief moment and vibrated but disappeared after that.
When I plug the phone to PC it is trying to load the driver and also show up as Android 1.0 in device manager (see attached), and also PC making noise same as when we plug some thing in USB.
I tried to hold volume + power and PC making noise like something detecting but nothing showing up in my computer.
I really appreciate if someone can help me to narrow down the problem.
Thanks

When you hold power button for more than 8-10 secs, is the notification light(it will be in the upper speaker) turning on atleast?
anyway, it sounds like a manufacture defect, i would recommend you to return it in HTC service center ASAP and get a replacement to avoid any future issues.

No notification light come on but sometimes if I keep pressing volume up+volume down + power for longer than 2 min screen come on briefly and phone vibrates but than nothing
I cannot send as a warranty replacement since I don`t know the history of the phone.
What you guys think its worth while to give to repair shop and what you think its going to cost me.
Correct me if I m wrong, if there 8s any problem in mobo it woun't show up on PC as an android device. So I think its software messed up.
There is any way to do diagnostic on the phone?

What country are you in? I'd try running an RUU, see if it picks the phone up, even if its the wrong RUU it wont run but it will tell you which RUU you need instead.
I am in canada, I just downloaded the RUU and I am running it, it is on verifying information for more than 5 min how long should it take to verify information?

I dont know about that buddy. Sorry
Have you tried a different USB Cable? Different USB port?
Install HTC Sync, then uninstall it, but keep the drivers when it asks.
Hold Power and Volume Up at the same time, can take anywhere up to 1 min.
Post back if you get anything.
Yesterday I booted into recovery mode two times
1st time I tried factory reset nothing happened
2nd time I tried ruu, and it get to point where ruu tried to reboot and after that nothing
And I was not able to boot it again.
They way it got into recovery I hold it volume down + power
But after two bootup red light started flashing agin as before.
Any gelp will be appreciated.
Thanks
