Try with this: open settings/apps/all, find settings, open it and clear cache. Reboot your phone and try again. :good:

So you should do factory reset
Xperia™ Z (C6602) with Tapatalk
Don't know why it should be because the kernel but you can try to replace your settings.apk with an other one(you might did something wrong and it's now damaged..).

its for deodex firmware but u can try to delete home.odex and copy this app to system/app and set correct permission it may work but do backup before doing as its untested on odex firmware of xperia z

Did you just try to install it as a user app? That won't work.
You need to manually put the apk in /system/priv-app and set permissions to rw-r--r--. You can use a root enabled file explorer to do this.

Thomas' rom doesn't use a stock kernel. You still need an unlocked bootloader.

All of them are outdated and can soft brick your phone, or make the sound even worse. Have you tried enabling Xloud in sound settings? And next time please dont post questions in general section.

yeah a bit... stock rom rooted... holo launcher... advanced kernel for 4.4.2...
xposed... gravity box kk installed... and the rest is pretty much stock...
i try to ask my friend called google what "immersive mode" is, maybe this is the problem...

It means full screen. No status and navigation bars. Or did you just crop your screenshot?
If I were you, I would check that you haven't changed a setting relating to the dialler in GravityBox.

That didn't help... I tried to reset gravity box but it didn't help...
But since I have some backups from 4.3 JB, will I try to install
the dialer from that version...
I give an update later to inform you if it helped...
