I don't understand the question, your imei looks fine in your output above, I suggest you remove it from your post though and your serial number like ive done in the quote.
---------- Post added at 06:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:41 PM ----------
you need a 1xxxxxx series RUU or a 2xxxxxxx series RUU due to your low HBOOT version, the Guru reset file you have used is a 3xxxxxxx series rom and requires something like HBOOT version 1.54 or 1.55, that's probably why your getting the reboots.

Sorry im very confused, your original cid was A48 ? is that the dual sim version ?
and now you've gone a flashed a bog standard RUU, you don't just need a hboot update, you need the whole RUU.

no problem, the thread looked familiar, and i never replied to the other thread cause i got no notification
@Net_Spy , the decrypted ruu.zip files will work in a linux terminal if you're s-off
but you need to use 'sudo'
sudo fastboot oem rebootRUU
sudo fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
sudo fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
^^ if successful
sudo fastboot reboot-bootloader
If this cause a duplication Im really very sorry guys , but truly you guys are really helpful . I will flash version n will come up with results .

if the ruu didn't fix the radio/modem partitions, then I sadly have to say it's probably a hardware problem

Hi Guys.
I am unable to flash recovery to my HTC One M7.
Unlocking on HTCdev went ok, it shows "UNLOCKED" in bootloader.
However, no matter what recovery image I try,
it say it flashed recovery OKAY, then when choosing it, the phone reboots into android instead of recovery.
I tried: CM6031, CM6032,recoverystock.img, and openrecovery-twrp-2.5.0.0-m7.img
Here some info from my phone:
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.44.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 4A.13.3231.27
(bootloader) version-cpld: None

(bootloader) battery-voltage: 4003mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic

I also tried flashing RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed.exe
That failed also, (luckely it rebooted into android again.)
I learned that I am currently running version 1.28.61.10
Here is a screenshot of my bootloader:

No problems here, CID ORANG001
I unlocked using HTCDev, rooted etc.
and when revone came out I S-OFF and removed the ***TAMPERED*** which you will get once you flash the custom recovery.
Gimme a min and I'll look for the thread I used to flash CWM...

After ***UNLOCKED*** I used the following recovery, without any problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173863
* Make sure fastboot is unchecked in power options and turn phone completely off
* Boot into HBOOT then Fastboot
* From fastboot. Use command "fastboot erase cache"
* From fastboot. Use command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
then rooted as per above thread
what error are you getting when you fastboot flash....?
Hi,
Fastboot is unchecked.
USB debug is checked.
bootloader is unlocked.
Now a log:
Phone off.
Boot into HBOOT (vol down + power)
Chosen FASTBOOT
Then:
fastboot erase cache
erasing 'cache'...
OKAY [ 0.063s]
finished. total time: 0.064s
fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.3.2-m7.img
sending 'recovery' (7422 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.128s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.625s]
finished. total time: 1.755s
Chosen bootloader.
NOW IT SHOWS TAMPERED, never done that before.
(So somehow that recovery image is different than all the others I tried.)
Now trying to start recovery:
YES YES YES!!!
So it seems I was trying the correct steps....
I just did not find the correct recovery image, and trust me, I searched... Alot.
Trying flashing SuperSU.zip now.
Succeeded.
Uhm.... I think I should have created a backup first. Dumb!
Anyway, doing backup now.
Next step: reboot and check if I have SU.
Al seems fine!!!
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Congratz mate.
There's a CWM stock backup of ORANG001 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39588860
I'm on ARHD 10.3 and it's working great, soon to update to ARHD 12.x
BTW: I also used revone to get S-OFF and removed the TAMPERED sign, worked for me from the first time; just follow the steps one by one (including the step you have to do twice) :good:

So if I understand correctly:
1- bootloader unlocked
2- S-Off via revone OK
but no IMEI?
Did you try flashing a new radio?
PS: remove your serial number from your post, people shouldnt see your serial number or IMEI

This could very well be a hardware problem, not solvable without a service center. Because if you installed the RUU with SuperCID, you don't need to go back to ORANG001, once your SuperCID you can go to universal Europe version for good.
The RUU you used would wipe everything and bring your phone completely back to stock software, so it should have worked.
The only thing you can still try is to flash a different radio from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419699
But it looks like somehow your IMEI got corrupted, and that only something a service center can fix. Do you still have the box? Is the IMEI on the box and getvar the same??
Sorry, but I recommend you send it to repair.

This could very well be a hardware problem, not solvable without a service center. Because if you installed the RUU with SuperCID, you don't need to go back to ORANG001, once your SuperCID you can go to universal Europe version for good.

Note : Iam even happy to get back to stock android, but not really sure to change the cid on 1.54.0000 with s-on, i read the forums to understand its not really possible to change, but do we have any options.
Your only chance is to find one nadroid backup and flash it since no RUU is out or newer than your main version... You can't edit anything with S-ON unfortunately...
Thank you Matt, should have ideally did a soff while i was running on the older boot. Will wait for higher relases or will revert back arh google edition.
Will keep looking out on ur posts to see if you find a nandroid back up of vodafone htc one
Thanks

Feel free to hit that Thanks button
I used that nandoird on: version-main: 2.24.161.1
Im guessing yours is showing as version-main: 3.22.1540.1 because of the rom your using ?
Restoring that nandroid backup will restore the rom and bootimg, you also need to change your CID back to VODAP001.
I have removed the TAMPERED flag by doing the following on a mac:
./adb devices
./adb shell
echo -ne '\x00' | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 bs=1 seek=4265988
exit
./adb reboot bootloader
My next mission is to restore stock recovery, and change RELOCKED to LOCKED. Then send the phone HTC for repairs :fingers-crossed:

Unfortunately I flashed this firmware: 3.22.1540.1 (it's not because of the ROM). I will see if i can get the vodafone's firmware x.xx.161.x from somewhere. I want to return mine because i have that horrible red tint in the camera in low light conditions.

Just thinking, you have supercid so you can flash any ruu, so if you lock your bootloader, keep s-off and run this ruu;
RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13. 3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed.exe
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2428276)
Then flash this OTA
OTA_M7_UL_JB_50_Vodafone_UK_1.29.161.11-1.28.161.7_release_315813_signedoj2qp335qmm8qjso.z ip
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2428276)
Which should change your firmware back to .161.
Then change your CID back to VODAP001, will that not take you back to full stock and getting updates from Vodafone ?
Not sure if going back to 1.28.401.7 will cause any touch panel driver issues
Wonder if it will restore the vodafone boot logo with an ota ?
Just a thought, any other more knowledgable chap care to comment on this ?

I tried installing the Google play 4.4 version on HTC one today half way through install I knocked it off my desk and the phone seem to restart and go to a blue screen with lines on it, for split second Google appeared then went back to the blue screen.
I know I havent damaged the phone physically as the phone can still get into revcovery and is still functioning there however I can't seem to find anything to get me to restore back to stock or anything.

First, remove IMEI and s/n from your post, we dont need to see those.
Second, plenty of options for you to get a ROM onto your phone (your bootloader is unlocked, right):
1- OTG cable
2- adb push
3- adb sideload
4- worst case: run an RUU.EXE: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-exe/
(need to be locked for that if S-On)
5- use revone to get s-off on hboot 1.44

mainversion in fastboot getvar reads it directly from the misc partition (mmcblk0p19 on the M7_U/UL), not from build.prop. so even if you have no OS installed whatsoever, it should still show you a version number.
Thats interesting to know, thanks.. That RUU should fix it however

hey mate, how's it going
there's a tool for the mainversion too; if you're interested: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2526154
never used it, so no clue if it's any good. (did have a look at the source code though and it just writes whatever you want (10 digits, if i remember correctly) to the misc partition.)

Hmm, that sounds weird, that ROM should be good. and it's strange why your "version-main" is blank.
Anyway, try reflashing TWRP:
2.6.3.3: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
or 2.6.3.4: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7ul
make sure MD5 is correct on the download!! cause that site doesnt work with download managers.

fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
-> enter recovery, and reflash the ROM

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
hope that get's rid of "Active cmdling...."
then try reflashing TWRP (including erase cache)

this is not nice
the file I sent you is signed 3.63.707.4 firmware, and since it seems you have little choice (since you're S-On), you'll need to relock bootloader
then flash the firmware:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 3.63.707.4-firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip 3.63.707.4-firmware.zip <- yes twice!
fastboot reboot-bootloader
and then unlock again, reflash TWRP, etc.
unless someone has a better idea?

Hi guys, Noob-alert! Please let me know if I'm in the wrong place here.. I don't want to annoy you guys.
I got a HTC One from a friend that he bricked, at least that's what he thinks. I said I might be able to find out more and I got the phone into the bootloader with the bright light and all that.
Since I have no idea where to start and what kind of ROM's and other stuff the guy has used, I'd like some proper guidance into getting this phone into original condition, if that's still possible. He used this phone with a Canadian Rogers plan.
Oh yeah, Recovery doesn't work. It reboots and gives me the phone icon with the red "!" triangle.
Is factory reset a good start?

I'm not 100% sure but when entering recovery you select recovery then have to press and hold power and volume up and you should then get yellow text at the bottom of screen about sd card or something similar then it'll open recovery
sorry cant be more help

Recovery does work, that's just stock recovery you have on the phone. Once in the red triangle screen press volume + up and or down to enter recovery. You might have to try this a few times..
Your phone is also re locked so you need to unlock it from htcdev. Just follow the instructions. . Can you post a fastboot getvar all please.

Your friend seems to have installed the US Google edition rom on the phone..
To get back to stock rogers use this RUU
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_..._10-38r-1157-04l_release_351317_signed_2-exe/
If you prefer another rom. Go to htcdev and get an unlock code and follow the instructions. Once unlock you can fastboot a recovery for your phone. I recommend TWRP 2.6.3.3.. but one step at a time.. What would you like to do

You sir, are my HERO! Thank you so much, it's back to stock now and works great.
A new question: It's asking for a SIM network unlock PIN which probably means that i''s SIMlocked. I don't have a Rogers SIM so I need to get that unlocked.
The actual question; how can I get rid of the lock without having to pay for it? (I found some websites that can provide you a code and stuff like that.)
I'm willing to root/flash and stuff like that.. but I need a clear guide so I don't screw up.

I haven't tried this yet since I first wanted it back to the original state.
So I found out that my question was pretty dumb. Apparently I can only get it unlocked with a code. Which created a new question:
Will my phone get any regular HTC One future updates when it's unlocked? Maybe another dumb question, but well..
What sim carrier are you with. Your Rogers phone will still get the updates providing you have not modified it, ie installed custom recovery or custom Rom.
It will still receive updates and even download them with just a custom recovery installed, it just won't apply them.

@Maurix-NL Edit 2: Everything is fine now, you can proceed with these files and instructions.
Edit: Wait a minute, I,ve linked the wrong firmware file. I'll get back to you in a few minutes...
Download this file, this file and this one save them in the same folder where you already have adb and fastboot on your computer.
First, you'll have to update your firmware so your phone can accept the latest Rogers RUU:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip Firmware_7.17.631.52.zip
fastboot flash zip Firmware_7.17.631.52.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
and finally flash the Rogers RUU:
Code:

htc_fastboot.exe (that particular version) is needed at least to flash the RUU. Its a modded version of Google's fastboot.exe made by HTC because Google's fastboot can't handle files as large as this RUU (Lollipop RUU are larger than the previous versions and must now be flashed with htc_fastboot.exe).

So I move the 3 files in the fastboot folder I currently have, right? When do I use the HTC exe? Or will that automatically be used when I run those commands?
Sorry about all the questions. I don't want to mess things up.
