Yes, you can flash different RUU's but the CID & MID must match. The other thing you will have to worry about is the radio, you have a CDMA radio and most of the rest are GSM. I would check on the Sprint HTC One Forum to see what the possibilities and pitfalls await.

Radio won't be his only problem, the partition table of Sprint is different.

If you are thinking of using a non-Sprint RUU / firmware, then forget about it!! Sprint has a completely different partition layout:

You can however use ROMs, that specifically state they are Sprint compatible.
sim
so if sprint phones cant do the roms how come im able to use my att sim card in it can text and call .......(sprint rom) also is there another carrier that has a rom that is any thing other then sprint and thanks for the help

you can run custom ROMs that are not Sprint branded but support Sprint, just not non-Sprint RUUs or firmwares
for example ARHD 31.6 is Sprint compatible but not 71.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023
I also believe ViperOne is Sprint compatible and several others, you can check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-htc-one/development

Hello
im planing to buy Incredible S that is currently broken.
The guy said to me that after ICS update he scan for available networks, and phone sees networks but phone don't wont to connect to network.
Phone is SIM unlocked and he tried with two different operators.
I can get it really cheap but im afraid is there possibility that motherboard is broken.
Im good with flashing and i hope that it is only problem with radio or corrupted update.
Did someone had similar problem after ICS update?
Please gimme some advice

That is not the stock ICS update. If that's an Incredible S, its running a custom ROM based on a VilleC2/One S ruu or dump (from the build number). That might be the issue, tell him to flash a stock based ROM like Android Revolution HD or Blackout ICS and see if it works
Also, could you get a screenshot of the info under "more" please? That could help
Thanks for replay, i will try to get screenshot of Software information/More

He told me that he did OTA update but i don't believe to him.
Also phone was Rooted and S-OFF
Is this situation fixable? I think that radio is problem, i did have HTC Wildfire so i know how to flash, use RUU and other stuff.
Or maybe this happen because he was rooted and S-OFF and accepted update
If this is a fixable situation then i could buy the phone
I dont think ota work if you are s-off so i think he has a custom rom

Definitely a custom Chinese dodgy Rom and kernel
You'd have to flash a known working ROM like I mentioned above to see if it's just a kernel or Rom issue
Keep in mind that you can't run an RUU with s off

But you think that it is possible to fix it?
And one more picture with bootloader version

got new info from seller, he admit that he is using custom ROM.
he told me that after ICS update he tried to flash ROMs and then it all started with connection problems.
He is S-OFF, rooted, got black rose boot loader.
i will buy this phone and try to make S-ON so i can run RUU and hope for the best.
i must read a little bit but is it possible to get completely to STOCK after black rose and S-OFF?

From what I hv understood I think you can flash the latest radio and choose a good jb ROM and it should work. The devs are really good here and thr are some really good ROMs to choose from. Good luck...
i hope too it will all go well, maybe is better to try with radio first, all the time im suspicious that radio is the problem.
only thing that is weird is that WiFi is working excellent and cant connect to cell service.

I did the OTA Sprint 4.3 update yesterday and I was giddy like a kid in a candy store but I noticed I have not roaming settings in my Mobile Data button like I saw on someone else Sprint HTC One that received the update as well. .
I even tried to use the SIM Unlock from Viperboy on 4.3 and it just sits on the screen after getting SU permission and nothing happens. I even tried the steps from Terminal Emulator to go into the API and it comes up with an error 3.
Any help would be great.

I just had my phone replaced by Sprint because they could not figure out what happened to the Roaming settings under more in my phone and the replacement has the same issue. I have tried the Badboy Rom and even the Rage one Rom I can turn on the Roaming option on the bar but that is it.
I have same problem , no roaming settings.
I'm now trying quite a while to gain S-Off on my HTC One . After lots of tries, i've noticed this in my bootloader ( OS-)

You're on a 4.3 ROM. Just flash a custom kernel (ElementalX/teaMseven) and retry s-off. Once that's done, flash any RUU and everything will be good

for the time being you can't:
1- as there is no signed firmware available which you could flash while S-On
2- you can't seem to S-Off at the moment
3- anyway, it's just the "text" that's missing, so don't worry too much about it right now

If i understand correctly, this phone was converted to a Google play edition and you want it back to its original firmware and software? Original CID number and MID number are stored in partition mmcblk0p6.
You can pull mmcblk0p6 using an adb shell if you have root or if you have a custom recovery installed like twrp. Let me know if you have root or if you have a custom recovery and I'll explain you how to proceed.
You will also need s-off to change your cid and mid before running the ruu, if any avaiblabe for your original CID/MID

Just helped someone in a similar situation, this problem doesn't seem so bad for genuine GPE. If the Rom is still booting at least.
HTC dev doesn't work on GPE bootloaders anyway as far as I'm aware. You should use the command "fastboot oem unlock"
But in the above mentioned case that didn't work either. Sunshine app unlocked it and gave s-off though. So if it's locked with s-on but your able to boot your Rom I suggest getting Sunshine app to unlock and s-off before your completely FUBAR.

I'm not going to be a huge help here but as far as I know if you want to convert your ONE to a Google Play Edition you will need S-OFF. To gain that you will need to use Sunshine that will cost you $25. Firewater (free) is no longer available unfortunately. Once you're s-off you can findsome guides how to proceed with the conversion.
wiswis said:

You have a Unlocked T-mobile x.xx.651.x One M7 .. you will indeed need Sunshine S-off to convert it to GPe
To see if you have custom recovery / In the bootloader just choose recovery and hit power
you'll get stock recovery or CWM or TWRP to come up. If you want to just try GPe you don't have to convert your phone their are Roms that work with s-on phones with TWRP or CWM recovery

Why confused ? S-off is fine but you can also do more harm to your phone
you don't flash boot.img it comes with the rom
to flash roms all you need unlocked bootloader (free at htcdev.com)
custom recovery - free here >> http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
and SuperSU for Root free here >> http://download.chainfire.eu/641/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.40.zip
all you gain with s-off is the ability to flash older firmware and RUU for a different device ...for example convert to Developer edition or GPe
