Well I explain you my problem.
Since I installed last saturday the last 4.3 ROM thanks to Doomlord, I noticed my phone doesn´t charge while in power off, it just doesn´t respond to the cable charger, I tried with several cables, wall chargers, via PC,... with no result, also looking for a solution I also noticed it doesn´t also respond to comands with volume buttons so it can not boot to flashmode and fastboot using the normal way.
booting to flashmode or Flashmode is not an issue as I found a way of doing it actually a couple of them, I will explain them just in case somebody is in a similar problem than me...
Via software Using flashtool (flash/fastboot) the aplication can force the phone to boot in fastboot via adb, using PCcompanion, (flash/repair) when it checks the phone after downlodaing the firmware it forces the phone to reboot in flashmode (in my case it doesn´t it just powers off and gets stucked but just pressing the power button it does, once booted in flashmode you can open flashtool and flash the desired ROM)
Via Hardware As I said it doesn´t respond when I plug in the cable but with the cable connected to the computer and pressing volume UP/down and power until it vibrates it will boot to flashmode or fastboot.
Now lets go back to my main problem...
I have being doing several things in order to solve it with no luck...
1º flash .278 kernel with recovery thanks to sj8023ld
2º Downgrade to .145 Xperiment custom ROM
3º Downgrade to .141 oficial using flashtool (result bootloader allowed: no" when it was unlocked before)
4º Flash again .141 with flashtool (bootloader again unlocked)
5º relock bootloader and flash with PCcompanion (flash/repair)
6ºFlash .145 oficial using Flashtool
7º Unlock bootloader, Root (easyrooting toolkit Doomlord) and CWM V9 by davidmarco.
Now I am again in 4.3 leaked with root and .278 kernel
After doing all this I couldn´t find a solution, Do you know guys if I can do anything else?
Thanks a lot for your help in advance

I have problems in my stock fw with charging while powered off. Does not at all, quite the inconvenience. However if you hold the power button my charge light comes on until my phone has enough juice to power up (well it doesn't have enough juice ever, but I quickly put into airplane mode till it charges a but more...)

I've got a xperia sp, unlocked bootloader device. I've installed CWM recovery. Recently I tried to install CM 11 and I changed the update binary file since I couldn't flash the rom due to set_metadata error. ( A fix I found in a XDA Thread ). Now the device is on a boot loop at sony logo. I had this issue previously and I just flashed my stock rom using flashtools.
Now the issue is, when I connect my device to the pc while holding the volume down key, the green light ( indicating the device in flashmode ) comes up and it stays for few seconds and the device boots normally going into the boot loop.
I have installed the drivers for xperia, since I rooted and installed the cwm recovery on the same machine the day before. I prepared the ftf file and when flashtool prompted me to connect the device I connect. Windows does not indicate a device connecting with the usual sound.
I tried every possible way of connecting the device in flashmode but it doesn't stay for more than 5 seconds. The same for fastboot too.
any ideas on how I can recover my devce without giving it to a service center?
Thank you.

Firstly, power off the device if stuck in bootloop.
Take off your back case. Take a pen, pencil or similar object. Hold the small yellow button at the bottom of the device with the nib of pen or the object you are having. Hold that button until the device vibrates thrice
If you have flashtool.. Download stock ftf from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311964 and place it in Flashtools>firmware. Connect your device in flashmode( Volume Down and connect). Click on the Lighting Button> Flashmode and flash. [ BACKUP YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY AS IT GETS FORMATTED]
But note that you will lost Root Access. You have to root your Xperia SP again. And if you have unlocked bootloader then it will remain unlocked. No need to unlock again.

The problem is that I tried doing that! when flash tool requests to connect the device in flash mode, I power off the device and while holding the volume down connect. But there is no sound from pc of connecting a device.! The device turns green for 5 seconds, then starts to boot again. I tried installing the drivers again but the drivers are already there!
Are you able to enter CWM ?

Try this. [ I am not sure about this. I haven't tried this ]
Connect your Xperia SP with pc. And hold that small yellow rest button for 5-6 secs. It should connect your device in flashmode.
It just my opinion. If flashmode does not work why not try in fastboot? Just download any custom rom. Extract the zip file and flash it boot.img. Enter the recovery by pressing vol+. Install the custom rom. After finishing you can try back to flash the stock rom using flashtool.

This seemed to be a hardcore drivers problem. I can't pinpoint you to the right direction as I am not a Windows user (and also prolly lazy to reboot my laptop right now lol)
On your own computer
Open Device Management, and uninstall all related drivers of Xperia SP. These also includes flashmode and fastboot mode drivers. Then execute the "drivers" installer within Flashtool install directory (which is default C:\Flashtool). Then attempt to flash again.
Try on another computer.....
...to see if it works. But make sure to install the drivers first, as mentioned above. Attempt flashing again/
fastboot a CWM-ready kernel
You could also alternatively use a quicker flashing process, which is fastboot WIlliams kernel v7 (the kernel's .elf is in the zip). I can assure it only takes lesser than 4 seconds. For broader steps you may refer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56907083&postcount=3

The thing is for me
1) I cant see the small yellow button that you are talking about.
2) My device is nto connecting to the flashtool, it keeps on telling me to press the 'back button' -which my xperia sp c5303 does not have.
3) your volume down and connect does not do anything. Apparently there's supposed to be a green light as well and I dont see that.
This question is really to anybody knowledgable about this... Can you help?
I have Flashtool. And the stock firmware in the right place as well. But nothing else seems to be working.
My phone shows the Sony icon when I plug it in to teh computer and press the power button, otherwise when turn it on, it just shows a red light.

I think he means the reset button. It's more copper or gold than yellow.
2nd
Don't look for back button. In the SP, vol down is Flashmode, vol up is Fastboot.
3rd
Press the button before connecting USB, hold it and release when light becomes green.
4th
I would recommend the Sony program "Emma". Make sure you get the latest version. Earlier versions didn't support the SP.
Google for "Emma chip.de Download".
You'll get to a German site. Just click through the download buttons

one more thing, its says I need an unlocked bootloader but on some other threads where they were using flashtool they said that having an unlocked bootloader was bad and that it can severely damage your phone. Either way I cannot unlock my bootloader so it doesnt matter. I'll try it using Androxyde's Flashtool first and then yours if it does not work.

It didnt become green, and also there is no reset button, there is only a yellow bit of plastic in this little hole, and it says OFF. But I dont think that does anything.
I think I need some more specific instuctions and need to know where that button is.

Didn't read your bootloader is locked. Then forget Emma! It won't work.
The off button is the reset button.
Do the following.
When flashtool asks you to put your phone to flashmode:
- Unplug the phone
- Turn it off if it isn't off
- Press and hold the volume down button
- Keep holding it!!!
- Plug your phone to the PC. Don't usw usb 3 port.
- Light will turn green, flashing will start

Actually to use EMMA your bootloader has to be unlocked, but if you can't use flashtool or EMMA, you can try the original Sony PC Companion. Go to the repair phone section, identify phone, and it can help you to flash your stock firmware. From there you can restart flashing.of ROMs and all. Worked for me

This would work except for the fact that my phone's bricked. I deleted the system part of the phone using TWRP. So yh.
I have used the repair thing before though, when I deleted the download manager on my phone and literally could not download anything. So I can recommend that definitely.

Have you installed all the necessary drivers via FlashTool? All 3 of 'em i.e fastboot drivers, flashmode drivers and SP (huashan) drivers?
I know its a rudimentary question and you probably have but you'd be surprised how often people get stuck cause they haven't installed requisite drivers.
If the above fails, well you already seem to have TWRP installed so why don't you just boot into it and flash a ROM? Unless you really need to return to stock firmware for some reason, that's a viable solution to your problem.

I think the root is gone, that was part of the thing/whatever I did using TWRP to the system. So using any custom recovery is out of the picture anyway cos it wont work without root and then that's without the fact that I cant access the recoveries in the first place. Every time I try and turn my Xperia SP on, the illumination bar lights up red two or three times and that's it. All the time. Sometimes when connected to the PC it shows the Sony logo, in bootloop.
On flashtool, I made sure specifically to install the SP driver and the flashmode driver. I'm still trying though...

Why did you delete the system via Twrp? Also when you say you can't unlock your bootloader, does that mean you don't know how to or its not unlockable at all? Is your phone being detected in fastboot and is it showing up in Device Manager?
Well if your system's gone, root access is the least of your worries. On the bright side though, your phone's recoverable since as you have mentioned, its alteast showing the Sony splash screen occasionally.
You need to get Flashtool to detect your phone cause Sony PC Companion won't work since you don't have a working system and I read above that Emma needs an unlocked bootloader. Also if your bootloader's not unlockabke, you can't flash a custom recovery and what good's a nandroid backup when you don't have a recovery to restore it from?
If you can't get your phone recognized on your PC, get on someone else's, one preferably running 7 if you don't want to go through all the disable driver enforcement nonsense and install FlashTool, install drivers and flash stock firmware. Like I said, as long as you can see the Sony splashscreen, your phone ain't dead.

Me deleting TWRP was an accident, I dont know exactly how I did it, but I'd attributed it to wiping my system. Or by removing root, which I did somehow. I think removing root, kinda makes a custom recovery useless.
My phone's bootloader unlock permissions are set to no. So I cant unlock it.
And every time I try to flash a stock firmware .ftf file onto it, the phone is not recognised and I make sure to press the volume down button when I connect the wire to the phone.
And yeah, the SONY logo shows itself when my phone is charging. It's been like that for the whole time just on SONY. Also the illumination bar is red. But is it not supposed to turn orange and then green if it is fully charged.
And no, I have been able to flash a custom recovery without having unlocked my bootloader. It's how put TWRP on it in the first place- though I need to find it again. Hopefully, soon, Ill be able to install it and then flash my NANDROID backup onto it.
Hi guys,
So I'll tell you the whole story here. I was on Lollipop, fully rooted with working XZDR recovery but phone seemed laggy so I decided to give it a full format with the newer firmware. So I backed up everything. Booted into recovery. Formatted the whole phone, then took out the SD card to load on the zip file from the PC. On inserting it, it wouldn't be detected so I tried to reboot into recovery using the inbuilt option but forgot that recovery too would have been deleted. Since then its just stuck on the Sony logo. It reboots by keeping the Power button and Volume Up pressed, but to no avail. I tried to flash the image using Flashtool but it doesn't recognize the phone when I try to connect it in Fastboot using the Volume Down during Reboot method. Nor do I get a blue LED on the phone. I guess it isn't entering Fast boot.
Please help out since its my daily driver. Help appreciated. Thanks
Oh hey guys managed to restore using Flashtool. Tried booting phone into Flash Mode again and idk how it worked this time. Breathing a sigh of relief.
Could you please explain in detail how did you managed to get out of bootllop....it seems i sucked exactly like you & now clueless....
First of all, try repair it with Pc Companion. If that doesn't work, try with flashtool.
Keep in mind, to enter flash mode, press volume down button and insert usb cable.
tried PC companion & got error 2003 (Unlocked Bootloader & rooted wont work it seems)
Flashtool, will give a try again....
As of now, i am able to go to the fastboot & can open files on my PC when connect phone via USB cable....
Phone not booting up normal/recovery mode....It just stucked with boot loops
Tried flashtool---Ended up with errors as attached pic
As i cant bootup my phone...USB Debugging option cant be ticked
I was running SlimLP (unofficial) while bricked my phone....
Anything on that please....

Try installing Flashtool ver 0.9.10.2beta4 - you can see in this tutorial section #5: Device connected with USB Debugging off, ergo you dont have to have USB Debugging on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-stock-roms-t2240614

Not sure what you mean....... all I can say is, Flashtool 0.9.10.2beta4 does not require USB Debugging to be turned on to work and I definitely didnt turn USB Debugging on before starting the root process. Later yes but not before.

I don't think so because this happened to me long ago when I tried to unlock bootloader. But I did something to the driver to work adb properly and it worked. And now I forgot that method and couldn't find in google also.So I'm really in big trouble.I just don't know why when I want to flash the stock rom and flashtool show in popup to power off the phone and press vol down button and connect to computer using usb cable but vol button don't work or not give any signal to computer. So I can't flash the rom.
Go to sony official site and download drivers.. ZR drivers dont exist but you can use drivers for Z, install those on your computer and use the fastboot method again and you should be fine.. Your phone is only soft bricked.. Hard brick is when there are absolutely no life in the phone at all.. Use a boot.img you know will work and no need to flash stock ROM once you're in recovery.. Unless you want to of course.. Custom ROM will boot your phone just fine
Also take your battery out and re-insert to make sure your phone is properly off.. Flashtool should also work after that

Windows 10 is a pain to install drivers into.. But use fastboot in flashtool instead of flasmode.. Should recognize your phone and flash the boot image from there

I know you are trying to help me but I tried everything and nothing is working.I installed driver from flashtool but still no clue why pc not recognizing my phone. My phone is like a live junk.My phone soft bricked many times and I could recover my phone with flashtool so I know what to do but this problem is way more confusing.I just need to know what is causing this issue.
You've managed to install the drivers inc the lagan drivers in flashtool and connected your phone in fastboot mode with flashtool running and flashtool still don't recognize your phone? I've done that loads of times even with no drivers installed and flashtool has been able to recognize the device in fastboot.. If that's the case, then I'm sorry I'm not able to help any further as flashtool has always been my failsafe when things have gone wrong.. Adb and fastboot are usually no help for me in Windows 10..

My problem was created because local charger damaged my phone battery. So I couldn't turn on my device like yours.I replaced the battery and charger from Sony Center and now my phone is good as new.So Try to use other good battery(small or similer size that suites to your phone's battery pin)and see if your phone turns on without any issue. Then you can target the problem.
