So hard to find a working recovery? Why you messing up this section? And do you blind that Q&A section is already available for a long time ago.
Simply, find CWM 6.0.5.3. Restore with ODIN with XXLK1 firmware(download anywhere) coz it will convert to /rfs. Install recovery, make clean wipe and install.
Next time, thinking back what rules saying to you and make a new thread in a right section.

Hi can someone explain how i can revert back to my original firmware which was on the phone before i flashed it with jpk , so will be able to use the official froyo upgrade when it is released , i have a samsung i9000 with froyo i9000xxjpk. thanks in advance !
1. WHATEVER the rom you currently have, it WON'T affect your upgrade to ANY other rom (e.g. official froyo)
2. you need to know what rom you HAD, before do the reverse to the "original".
3. reverse procedure is the SAME as upgrade, its just flash another rom.
4. WRONG section for this post.
thank you for your help , sorry i posted this in wrong section but which section shoiuld i have posted it in ?

The Q&A section (which I've moved it to now for you). Please read the sticky post at the top of these sections titled "STOP!! Before you post read this NOW!!", which has guidelines for proper thread posting and placement.
can I please request Froyo v10g (or later) Original ROM? (flashable via CWM, deodexed, zip aligned)..
I found froyo is still interesting because better battery life (my opinion, how bout u guys?), and we can use g-button to wake up perfectly..
Please help guys, I wanna try that, because It's to difficult to downgrade the phone and rooting again.. many thanks
sorry if wrong section, but I think development section is the most appropriate..
since this is a request, it has nothing to do in dev section. you should have post in q&a or gen.
whatever, you can downgrade with 10e binaries via smartflash. browse my files to find the necessary

Hey all,
I rooted my xperia T using the official Sony method and then flashed a new kernel + custom rom. However I've decided that I don't like the phone and a friend has offered to buy it from me. I'd like to return the phone to the stock kernel and stock rom. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to do this as I pretty much fumbled my way through the flashing the first time around!
Cheers
Search for flashtool version 0.9.9.0 and download.
Download .ftf file of the firmware you want to flash and place it in flashtool firmware folder.
Start flashtool.exe and follow instructions. Leave all boxes ticked (wipe dalvik, user data, baseband etc)
Will that get rid of everything including returning me to the normal Sony and Xperia boot screen sequence? At the moment I've got FreeXperia and ParanoidAndroid.

Yes, but the bootloader may still be locked as not all ftf's relock the bootloader, I'm sure I saw an ftf in the development section which did that though.

No need to say noob question. The fact you posted a question in the gfeneral section explains that.
But the advice given is correct, just flash your original ftf. You should have made one if you read the All in one thread properly before you started messign with your phone. If you didnt, just choose one fromt he list inthe all in one thread then repair using pc companion.
Thanks, I just flashed back to what I thought was an unbranded rom, but it turned out to have '3 network' customisations.
Last night I found a thread that had a massive list of Xperia T Stock roms/kernels etc but I cant find it now despite searching for over an hour. Can someone point me in the direction of the thread, or maybe a completely generic UK rom with no network branding or dev customisations?

Read the very first thread in the Q&A section. All your answers are there. And no need to start several threads about the same issue and hijack many other threads. Ask for help in the thread I have suggested.

Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Hi, I'm not a developer but I'm trying to root my phone and install CWM so I can increase my ROM. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note n7000. I tried following the instructions in the tutorials but I'm not very conversant with the tech language. My phone's kernel version - 3.0.31-704944 (or at least, that is what I can see there), and I can't seem to find the code anywhere in the posts. Can you please give me step by step guidelines and instructions (links to download files too) that can help me solve this dilemma?
Thanks.
Briggs.

Especially the last one is already there. No need to repeat it. You only need to search and start reading and learning.
But when I read the first 3 quotes again my advive: stay on stock if you do not have an absolute reason for installing a custom rom
Hi!
Currenty I'm running a stock firmware for Russia (region SER) on my device (GT N7000):
PDA: N7000XXLTC
PHONE: N7000XXLT3
CSC: N7000OXELT1
(built Tue Nov 26 21:46:47 KST 2013)
Does it mean that a PhilZ-cwm6 suitable for this firmware isn't instantly ready? Or maybe I simply haven't noticed it? Probably I should ask to create a new one?
Thank you in advance.
Use the XXLTA one. It works on the rom you have.
hello,
for sgn gt-n7000B what version to use?
@nokiamodeln91 unfortunately I can't find any `xxlta` version in the post #3. Should I look for it somewhere else? Or maybe I should build it myself (and then publish somewhere)?
UPD: I've checked the source of the starting page of the main thread, and now pretty sure, that there's no xxlta on the page, even under the cuts (post #4). And I have noticed that I'm not the first in the thread who can't find it there. Please help us
UPD2: @raktut I have found N7000_LTC_kernel_CWM6-Touch_signed.zip with PhilZ kernel on another PDA-centric forum 4pda.ru (sorry, only in Russian), in the thread dedicated to GT-N7000. I haven't checked it myself yet, only saw "thanks" from other members of the forum, thus no direct link. But if you still need it, drop me a message.
BTW, what's the difference between the two, xxlta and xxltc? As I understand it's the version of whole firmwares, and there should be no or little difference when it comes down to Linux kernel, bootloader and minimal operating environment (busybox? or it uses other technology to create a minimal environment?). Maybe I could simply check kernel version, donna, busybox version etc of the published ZIP's and then choose an appropriate one?
Thank you for your response.

In my personal opinion, I'd rather suggest recovery rather than odin unless of course it's stated that u have to use odin to flash. Always go for the recovery whenever available.
Yes. Search for DDLSC vers. Find the zip. not the tar.md5 and flash it in recovery n u should be just fine. Happy flashing n glad to be of help

How to reverse the ODIN flash of the .tar file
I used the ODIN method to root my phone, however for some reason, the phone did not get rooted, now i am trying to undo what I did.
I am a newbie to this techie stuff and not sure what I should be doing.
I would like to use the Install Root via Stock Recovery Update zip method. I loaded the file on my ext SD card and followed the steps and got error 7. Please help.
All I want to do is get rid of the insufficient memory problem because of which I am not able to install or upgrade my apps.
My log file are consuming over 1000 MB of space and I would like to clean it up. I read that rooting the phone will give me access to do so, however that did not happen, im guessing it was a root error.
Please advise.
Thank you

Hi
I have GT N7000 with build DDLSC.
This is the 1st time that I have tried to root my phone and i used the ODIN method to flash the .tar file and then rooted my phone by loading the root file on my ext sd card. But I still did not get access to the system logs that I intended to delete.
I then uninstalled the root file as directed and tried the no touch method. However while the package was installing it gave an error 7. Not sure what that is.
I keep getting "insufficient memory" message everytime I try to install or upgrade an app. I saw using the diskusage app that most of the space is consumed by the system.
Can you please help me solve this problem and undo the ODIN based process that I had used.
Thank you
Flash Philz kernal without sd card?
Hi, quick question, is it possible/safe to flash philz kernal from inside recovery using the phones internal memory and not an external SD card? I don't have an SD card on hand and would prefer not to use Odin.
So a few days ago I was on Orange Fox Recovery. I flashed Havoc OS ROM and I flashed Gapps. I rebooted back to system and my device was fine until I couldn't press the Home button and Tab button on the navigation bar. I also couldn't download apps on the Google Play Store (as in when I pressed the install button, it carried on saying "waiting for download"). I wonder if this is something to do with the Gapps I flashed it was the pico version. I'm back on MIUI but I'm just wondering what could've been the problem?

You seem new to the xda community, but that's not a problem, everyone has to start somewhere ! A few suggestions :
1- You have posted in the wrong section of this device as per xda rules; you should post in the Q&A section for people to reply to your queries, since this is the development section.
2- Provide helpful info about your device and which software version (base vendor, Miui version, Gapp log from SD card, lastrecoverylog.log, etc.) is installed. If you don't know how, ask there too.
3- Deleteing the post will help keep the section clean, Do your part ! Ask there and I will try to help you, although I am no expert. :highfive:

Two ways:
1. Pm a moderator about it. Or
2. Report your own post and write that you want to delete it. Simple really, just not doable on the xda app as far as I know. So use a browser to do that.
